good evening all, well, this week's TOTR reveals (imo) some interesting observations... Anyway, to score 3229 (and beat the 'real' score of the round by a lazy 716 - or an extra 5 great midfielders) you needed this combo: Guerra - HAW - 338 (c) (What The ???) Duffield - FRE - 133 Birchall - HAW - 128 Broughton - FRE - 121 Thompson - KAN - 121 Hanley - BRI - 121 Fisher - STK - 118 Thompson - ADE - 162 Thomas COL - 157 Boak - PTA - 156 Judd - CAR - 155 Wells - KAN - 152 Hodge - HAW - 152 Clark - BRI - 151 Leuenberger - BRI - 122 Johnson - GEE - 162 Grundy - SYD - 142 Brennan - GCS - 138 Gray - PTA - 132 Stokes - GEE - 131 Podsiadly - GEE - 119 Roughead - HAW - 118 bench made of $91,700 no-namers with only $300 left in the bank (sounds like me, lol) Last week's TOTR only dropped 967 from 3214 to 2247 (which is by far the best follow up performance this year) Anyway, (and this is the bit I'm lovin') there's some serious repeat appearances: Roughead from the Hawks is the first player to appear in four consecutive teams (As a Hawks supporter I wish I'd seen that coming) Fisher from the Saints has now made 6 of a possible 9 TOTR's (wish I'd picked him as well...) Brennan from the Gold Coast makes his 4th appearance (what odds ANY Suns player making 4 TOTR's for the year? Let alone after only 8 games (remember they've had 2 byes)) other points of interest: - Judd, for all his Brownlow medal talk has only made 2 TOTR's. - Guerra's score of 169 is the all time highest score by a hair transplant recipient. - The Clark/Leuenberger combo is the first time we've had 2 rucks from the same team make the cut - this week's mid-field is the highest scoring so far... 152 was the minimum, it's usually 120-130. - I only had 1 player from my squad make the cut... Hope you enjoy the read. take care, The Silverback
Always interesting to read. Roughead and Brennan give me something to think about for my next FWD upgrade - was thinking Sylvia, Fyfe, ROK or Goodes. - Guerra's score of 169 is the all time highest score by a hair transplant recipient. I lol'ed
Got 4 of the team with me this week. (Broughton, Judge, Hodge & Grundy) Great write up Silverback. Keep em coming.
excellent writeup silverback!! this is a great read that i look forward to every week. thanks for sorting it each week. imagine having that midfield this week!! interesting that it seems most players in this weeks team have been building up to this sort of form, which says that these performances might not be just a flash in the pan. Will be interesting to see how the same team goes next week. thanks again
Hey Sainter, yep, more than happy for you to have a crack at it. Give me a yell if you'd like me to email the spreadsheet that has all the TOTR's thus far... Another point of interest... The team that won the $1000 this week only had 5 players from the TOTR...
Ha ha ha...one of the best stats ever to come out of SuperCoach...most points by a Hair Transplant recipient. Just too good. Need a new record every week from now on Silverback.
Nice write up Silverback. Like you i only had 1 which was Judd. Even if you had a clean slate each week to pick a new team, you still wouldn't come close to picking the right players eg: Guerra, Hanley
