last week i traded out nick reiwoldt.... a bad loss to adelaide (think the saints season is over) is goddard worth a trade ... to scarlett (he is as cheap as chips) - i want to trade him in
As bad as Goddard has appeared to be, he is still ranked 2nd on Averages of those defenders who have played more than 3 games, SC average 109.8 with a lowest score of 98. We all know that he has a huge upside. Scarlett has been good with his high score for the year so far of 107. Not a trade I would be making however if you are determined to get rid of Goddard, then Scarlett is as good a choice as any.
NO. He is the 2nd highest averaging defender who in bad form is averaging 110 with no scores under 100. Can you imagine what he will do when he hits his straps!!! Im sure you have more pressing problems in your entire team then trading out a bloke thats ave 110..

Trade Goddard to Scarlett? Go for it. It's like trading out of a blue chip stock just as it goes through a time of trouble. Goddard's trade rating at the moment is a BUY not a sell or a hold. Scarlett's is a never get, partly because no matter what role he gets he still has a dangerous forward to look after from time to time, and sacrifices his attacking game for the team. Would be stoked if he averaged 85 from here. Goddard, if he averages 115 for the year, I think that would be bang on expectations. Maybe these have been slightly lowered because his team is struggling.
Get rid of him, his average of 109.80 is quiet poor, downgrade him to Coad and get some cash. Oh and Collingwood have the bye so if you have Swan or Pendles, get rid of them as well...don't want them stinking up your bench.
Well Goddard's points could be worse....could be a trend like Gibbs.... Still giving you solid 90+ points at least.

a_kampf - I'm (reluctantly) willing to offer you both Tarrants, Lester and Coad for Goddard. But wait there's more... I'll also throw in Jarrad Irons and Joel Tippett ok, ok - you drive a hard bargain... you can also have the one of a kind Relton Roberts footy card I had specially made (cos he wasn't around long enough for the photographers at Select to catch him in action). Do we have a deal?
