Alright, thanks to the silly season (and delicious delicious work Christmas dos), the training notes this week arent overly detailed. That said though, I reckon its more than just me moving into December Mode.

Just a quick note though before moving into it- Ill be moving the site to a new server this weekend, so there will be a point where comments made will be left behind as once I take a cut of the database, that becomes what we take across. But Im thinking that sounds a good task for Saturday/Saturday night (Oh wow, thats a sad Saturday night!)

    Onto the reports:

    <!--more-->

    Adelaide

    1/12

Young, Henderson, Riley, McKernan and Ellis-Yolmen were all in the rehab group.

The session started with running drills, it was noted though that Johncock, usually out of shape at this point in the season, well, wasnt.

    Brisbane

    5/12

Word was of a marathon training session that "had a few suffering big time."

Havent heard too much else this week though, its all about the ripping shape of Brown- who will be looked at it Mondays PuffWatch.

    Carlton

    2/12

Of course the big news here was Juddy- so it was good to hear that he was still running laps.

Meanwhile, Kreuzer. Jamison, Murphy, Henderson, White, Yarran, Simpson, Garlett, Waite, Curnow, Buckley and Heyne were all on light duties.

Good to hear that Robinson and Walker are both getting nods for showing excellent form thusfar.

Sounds like Bower is going to tempt us all next year- priced at $125k, hes showing that if fit, hell be a bargain.

    7/12

Heh, gotta laugh at the Huns article on JUdd, <a href="http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/carlton-captain-chris-judd-hurt-his-shoulder-in-bed/story-e6frf9jf-1226214623162">injuring his shoulder in bed - really thats probably a bad sign durability-wise.

    Collingwood

    2/12

Its all Arizona at the moment, and as always, sounds like they are doing it tough.

Im really enjoying reading about it from one of the blokes that paid to go along - <a href="http://arizona.peptolab.com/">here. In particular, I love that just loading the car up with your gear gets the heart pumping in the high altitudes.

    Essendon

    7/12

Not much news coming out of camp Essendon at the moment- I do agree with the BigFooty take on things though: <a href="http://www.essendonfc.com.au/news/a/Key-Bombers-resume-training/8717">Not enough hats

    Fremantle

    1/12

As expected, still a massive didnt-train list- consisting of: Alex Forster, Walters, Roberton, Roberts, Pav, Ballantyne, Sandi, Mcpharlin, Barlow, More, Fyfe, Ibbo, Lower, Keplar, Johnson, Mcphee and Mayne

    Geelong

    No Report

    Gold Coast

    No Report

    GWS

    No Report

    Hawthorn

    7/12

Hawthorn are boring. Theyve actively pursued online Hawthorn fan sites to take down any training reports from closed sessions. Sucks for us fantasy sans, but from the club perspective, I guess it makes sense.

On a completely seperate note, if anyone is up for a little leakyleakingtons, you know where to email. ;)

    Melbourne

    2/12

Another timetrial today- Trengove finished first, followed by McDonald and Jones. Moloney, Bate and Green were all at the pointy end while Blease finished last.

    5/12

Very blustery conditions which saw Blease stand out as an fantastic user of the ball in difficult conditions. (That said, hes been coping it for the last few reports so its good to hear a positive)

Garland was training with the mids, Sellar with Defence.

Sylvia, Cook Tapscott and Petterd just did laps.

Bail did very well in the running drills.

A lot of the session was on working out how to get past the press, sound like they need to keep practicing...

That said, it does sound like the Dees a doing a lot more running under Neeld, and surely will only benefit from an improved fitness base.

    North Melbourne

    2/12

Wells is still looking unlikely for round 1.

    Port Adelaide

    2/12

Looks like Port are going pretty hard in New Zealand, with #1 draft pick giving the club a bit of a scare after crashing his mountain bike, while a couple of others have fallen out of their rafts.

I gotta say, it does look like a lot of fun what they are doing- should work wonders for the team bonding.

    Richmond

    2/12

The Tiges are in Arizona and from the sounds of things, working hard.

    5/12

Yep, still in Arizona, still going hard.

Looks like Cotchin has had a little bit of hip surgery though, just a minor cleanup is the official line and he should be back to full training when the team returns to Melbourne. Its a real shame that he couldnt get the full benefits of the Arizona trip though.

    8/12

    aaaaand, theyre back in Melbourne.

    St. Kilda

    2/12

Again, massive props to the <a href="http://tsjournal.net/2011/12/02/open-training-report-021211/">True Sainters review, you guys do a massive job- the cliffs:

The session revolved heavily around ball skills and moving the ball into the forward line. Ahmed Saad was a standout and is well up on the watch list.

Beau Wilkes was training with the defenders, alongside Clarke, Geary, Fisher, Ferguson, Gilbert and Blake.

Roo was the only one absent, but did just arrive back from his time off yesterday- should be hitting the track soon.

Winmar is still troubled by his ankle, and is probably going to get a line drawn through him soon.

McEvoy is supremely fit for a big guy- reckon this will be a key this season will the AFL looking to get the ball back into play in the stopages next year.

Hayes is still looking great- keep this up and hell definitely be value next year.

    Sydney

    No Report

    Western Bulldogs

    8/12

The dogs have their first open session this Friday, so hopefully we hear some good things.

    West Coast
