Sorry, we missed last weeks reports, had the draft, then a bit of a family emergency to cover for- then before I knew it, it was a couple of days til the next report.
So Ive rolled it all into one super report for you to enjoy!!

Adelaide
30/11
Porps is the one were all watching here, and once again he got through the session in good shape (and form).
Johncock and Knights were on on ol modified program, while Otten was working with the midfield group.
Sounds like Adelaide will be playing Mckernan at Full forward, with Tippett and Walker pushing down the ground. Will be interesting to see how Tippett goes as surely hell stop teasing us and deliver soon! That said though, Walker did do a little bit of time training in the mids after Riley left the track injured.
Oh, and Riley left the track injured. Did a shoulder.
One thing that was noticed is that Adelaide look to be positioning themselves to take the game on- win the contested ball and get it forward, rather than putting numbers behind the ball as they did last year.
Brisbane
30/11
Missing from the session (Outside of the 5 in Arizona) were Raines, Drummond and Buchanan - Yep, you boys arent going anywhere near my squad this year! Meanwhile, Staker, Polec and Bartlett were on a restricted program
Still early days, but the Lions definitely sound like they are bulking up a bit, Dayne Zorko, while only 175cm looks good for early game time.
Carlton
23/11
1st training session and it was a pretty meh affair, getting the boys back into it with skill sessions and the like.
Curnow is moving freely and is looking very fit.
Krueze was also running freely- heres hoping for a massive pre-season.
Judd, Simpson, Waite, Garlett, McLean, Kreuzer and White spent most of the session running laps, but Murphy was unsighted.
Gibbs was looking good after getting back from Qatar- though his shoulder was still fairly strapped. Still expecting big things this year though.
25/11
Warnock is out of the sling, but had no contact. Murphy dislocated a finger on his right hand and went to the rooms- didnt return.
Gibbs, Walker and Robinson were all looking in very good shape.
29/11
Business as usual- not too much to report as half the squad were working out indoors, props for Gibbs, Walker (noticing a trend here), Joseph and Hampson.
30/11
@Carlton_FC: Carlton captain Chris Judd has had precautionary scans on his right shoulder after suffering an injury during pre-season training.
Collingwood
30/11
Arizona. Its on. They only just got there, but Im sure we will get some great reports coming out. And that they will come back with a team full of mid-season Dane Swans and dominate the pre-season.
Essendon
30/11
Tough to get a good training report from the Bombers this year, not finding anything that isnt club-released, and even that is just puffy and about the new recruits
Fremantle
23/11
Freo got on with their 3k trial, was a hot day (34 during the run), but the top 5 went - Mzungu, Balla, Crowley, Hill, Pearce. Thats a great result from Ballantyne who is really looking to ramp up his midfield time this year.
Sounds like something is up with Morabito- isnt training as hard as he should- along with what sounds like a bad diet isnt doing himself any favours with the new coach. Ah well, guys thats why Ross got him to skip his post-season trip.
25/11
Michie and Roberts were in the rehab group.
On the track this week for the Dockers were Hill, Suban, Anthony, Pav, Pitt, Mellington, Crichton, Crowley, Duffield, Sandi, Grover, Faulks, Pearce and Broughton. Suban was running very well compared to last year.
Mayne looks like hell be training behind doors on a modified program til mid January
30/11
Zac Dawson is officially training with the Dockers, in fact, hes currently licing with Barlow and Lower, while his girlfriend is looking for a job. Pretty safe to assume that hell be a full Docker soon enough. Will be very interesting to see the effect that him, and Lyon have on the Dockers backline- could be some good potential there.
Duffield, Suban, Faulks and Silvagni spent most of the session running, while the rest of the group were doing drills.
Still no Mundy, Fyfe, Barlow, Morabito, Clarke, Walters, Van Berlo, Johnson, Mayne, Keplar, Mcphee, Ibbotson and Mcpharlin.
Looks like Pav will be heading back to the forward line under Lyon- funnily, his midfield stints didnt actually help his SuperCoach game, so moving back shouldnt either... right!? Might even improve a little with last years new Mark-on-lead stat.
Geelong
30/11
Nothing coming out of the Cattery yet- any word?
Gold Coast
30/11
The Suns are back and hit the track with a 2k time trial. 13 of the 15 who ran it, set themselves PBs. (Which really, youd expect all being young!). That said though, Gaz finished the run at the back of the pack. Might be nothing, but thought it was worth mentioning.
GWS
30/11
Well, they have a team now. Many tasty tasty rookies to choose from. Now to get the right ones!!
Hawthorn
23/11
Roughy is still progressing nicely, while Gunston will be looking to build his strength with the aim of holding down a key position.
A contigent of young Hawks have recently returned from their Kokoda trek, these include: Jarrad Boumann, Jack Gunston, Mitch Hallahan, Isaac Smith, Tom Schneider, Paul Puopolo, Derick Wanganeen, Xavier Ellis and Kyle Cheney - It looks like it was a pretty tough slog!
Melbourne
23/11
Mitch Clark is looking to start up on full training come Monday, so any missing pre-season wont effect him too much. Will be good to see how he fits in at the new club.
30/11
Freddie Clutterbuck is on the permission to train list. Wow, what an epic name, and hey, after last years Clutterbuck of a season...
But onto the training. First of all, new recruit James Sellar is training as a defender. Not sure if that makes him fantasy relevant or not, but well definitely want to watch him just in case.
Sylvia, Strauss, Jetta, Jurrah, Lawrence, Petterd and Bail were all in the rehab group.
The session looked to be based on working the press, and more importantly, beating it- Watts Clark and Martin rotated through the forward line (with 1/3 constantly roaming up the ground).
Once again, Gysberts was called out for not having his fitness up to scratch.
Bate trained with the Mids and forwards, while Garland and Bennell were both in the Mids and Backs. Blease was noticably disappointing.
North Melbourne
30/11
Grima is getting the wraps so far now that the club is back in Melbourne, taking out the clubs 2k time trial. Sierakowski, Wright and Hansen are also getting big wraps on their fitness.
Port Adelaide
23/11
First of all, Kane is buff, adding 4 kilos so far, in fact, every Port player has put on (on average) an extra 2.5kg of muscle over the past 11 weeks. Reckon we might see some bigger bodies around the contested work this year from Port.
30/11
The Port boys are heading out for a 7 day training camp out in New Zealand. The players who wont be making the trip are Butcher (Foot), Thomas (knee) and Newton (Hip).
Just wanna put this one out there- gosh Nathan Blee is a good looking bloke. At 21yo, 192cm and 91kg, he was the runner up in East Perths club champion award and was named full back in the WAFLs team of the year. Sadly, full backs dont make good prospects, but he did average 14 disposals, 3.5 marks and 4 spoils a game, so at rookie price, he might be worth a bench spot.
Richmond
23/11
Rehab group: Jack, Cotch, Astbury, Batch, Conca, Ty and Derickx.
Lots of running for the Tigers. D. Grimes was very good, while King and Heslin did a lot of laps. Meanwhile, Browne wasnt great.
This was followed by skills work. Martin as always was great off the boot.
A fair bit of work was put into working their zone, in particular in keeping formation as the opposition came out of defense.
30/11
The boys landed in LAX just a few hours ago. More reports as they come out.
St. Kilda
23/11
First of all, for an excellent full report, check out the <a href="http://tsjournal.net/2011/11/23/st-kilda-open-training-report/">training report on TrueSainters[/url], for the cliffs however...
Looks like the Saints are going to be cracking with a faster brand of football, moving the ball quickly. That said, its still early days, so Im sure there was an element of putting the players out of their comfort zone.\
Lenny has was training at full pace, with no visible signs of injury. He shouldnt be carrying any fitness issues come round 1 if he keeps this up, but still carries the risk of an aging mid coming off a knee.
Jimmy Guilt had a noticeable limp which got worse as the session went on.
Jack Steven has - and I quote - "something wrong" - so well want to keep an eye on him.
Winmar and Stanley spent the session running laps, while NDS did some one-handed drills, then hit the laps.
Ahmed Saad was impressive, as expected, he should be good for some early games, so keep him high on your radar!
30/11
Theyre training as Im writing this, so Ill revisit it tonight (though Im certain StkThunda will have some excellent insights for us! )
Sydney
30/11
Wow, looks like the Swans are going hard with their "Hardest pre-season ever (TM)", with Kruger once again taking out their second 3k time trial. He was closely followed by Johnson, Hannebery and Gordon.
Western Bulldogs
23/11
Still no open training sessions til the 10th of Dec, though word is that McCartney is pushing them pretty hard with a few calling "hardest preseason ever" already. Seems that most of the stories this week were about Cooney getting the can from the leadership group- heres hoping it can help him get his body right!
30/11
A nice little puff piece came out today on Brian Lake, while hes still in the rehab group, his running and movement are a lot better than they were last year.
West Coast
30/11
Looks like the Eagles are up in the Kimberly to start the pre-season. Great opportunity for a photo on top of a camel. Not great for reports though!
