Ten rounds in, and this years brownlow count is fast becoming a two-horse race.  Well - three, if you can count Watson in the pits.

There are others that are there-and-abouts at this point in time, but you do get a distinct feeling that its gonna come down to one of these 2 (or 3).  The bookmakers agree, with Judd now the out and out favourite ($4), and both Selwood and Watson equal second ($8).

This weeks votes are over the page....but before we get there, a note on the Pies v Eagles game.  Dale Thomas was best afield - hands down, even though Pendlebury wasnt too far behind.  And even whilst I think the umps will probably also go for Thomas over Pendlebury for the three, I have gone the other way.

Reason being - the aim is not ultimately to select who will get the votes on a week to week basis.  Its about who will be at the top of the teams tree come late September.  Pendlebury is one of those players that will pick up votes when you least expect him too at some stage through the year, whilst Daisy will miss out on another occasion where we have him down to collect - we know this from past counts.

To further my point...whilst I have gone with the three for Pendlebury, against the two of the TS masses, my count still sees Pendlebury one vote behind...
