Yep, with Pendlebury only scoring 102 on Friday night, we put together a quick list of potential captains, which went to a vote.

Firstly, the team summary. We had an average score this week: 2,111. This gave us an average rank: 41,494.
In the overall standings we're sitting at 33,117 with an aggregate of 12,384 points. There's no top-1000 scores coming from this side, yet!

Its always a good sign when your highest scoring player on a line is sitting on the bench. We had six chances to get that one right, and didn't. With Saad also being our only defender topping the ton, even though there were no absolute disaster scores, it was really only an average week down back. The Saad for Oxley swap would have given us an extra 34 points.

No points lost there, with our bench score being the smallest on the line. Some good scores from our premiums, with JPK and Beams doing well. Danger was a disappointment, although dropping Cripps would have been a bigger disappointment! He may end up being a D9 keeper if he keeps this up. Krak and VDB were both less than impressive, and with CEY out, Heeney out, and Nelson not making the final cut, there may be some culling to do.

Some monster scores in the forwardline, with Gray hammering out 143 in a losing side (Go The Mighty Eagles!). Not really unhappy with the overall performance here - Swan seems to be slipping a bit, although the Pies did get a bit of a pasting - and having Salem on the bench instead of Hogan this week cost us 52 points. It looks like Salem has gotten his head off the chopping block, with some more cash due to come his way in the next couple of weeks.

So, with our 34 points down back, and 52 points up forward, we missed out on 86 points. Then there was our captain. Remember the list at the beginning of the post? If you answered the top scores of Gray and JPK you'd be very wrong. We did infact pick Dangermouse himself - with his marvellous 90 points! If we had have been better, and picked Gray's 143 points, we would have been a further 53 points better off, or a total of 149 for the week. That would have given us a nice even 2250 for the round, and had us placed at 2944th for round 6. Oh well...

Trades:
We didn't make any trades going into round 6, with the team sitting steady. Aside from the on-field / off-field selections, overall our trades have earned us 536 points and an aggregated $25,100 in cash, based on swings in value (not trade-in / trade-out values). A bit of a summary is below:
