Yes, weve now made it to the last round of the season, and theres still finals spots up for grabs. In Premier, the top 4 are safe, and the next 6 are fighting it out for the last two playoff spots. In Division 1, the top 5 are safe and there are really only 2 sides - LiQuiD_SiXx and Stowie - that could still claim the last spot in finals. and in Division 2, the top 5 are also safe, with just two teams - joellamerton and maxweas - fighting for the last spot as well.

    So Premier Division have the most live games this week - in terms of teams who may or may not still make finals. For the 6 teams that still dont know if theyll make it or not, here are their schedules:

    5th - <a title="Run TMC (Owen Beebe)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=19&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Run TMC (5-5) 15391 pts - playing Robert Sarvers Handbag (4th)

    6th - <a title="Westside Hardcore (Michael Walters)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=6&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Westside Hardcore (5-5) 14331 pts - playing Fudges Sixers (9th)

    7th - <a title="Ruddys Cavaliers (Peter Rudd)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=20&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Ruddys Cavaliers (5-5) 14330 pts - playing Team HEAVER! (1st)

    8th - <a title="ant hak (Anthony Hack)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=1&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">ant hak (5-5) 14264 pts - playing Adelaide Maggots (11th)

    9th - <a title="Fudges Sixers (Jim Tsilikas)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=16&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Fudges Sixers (4-6) 14060 pts - playing Westside Hardcore (6th)

    In Division 1, the two teams hoping to gain the final spot are as follows:

    6th - <a title="Team Stowie (Anthony Hack, Daniel Stow)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=10094&amp;teamId=1&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Team Stowie (5-5) 15248 pts - playing Everton 149ers (12th)

    7th - <a title="Get Knicked (Tim Somerville)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=10094&amp;teamId=11&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Get Knicked (5-5) 14547 pts - playing Linsanity 17 (2nd)

    And in Division 2, here are the two teams still in with a chance:

    6th - <a title="Team Ring Ticklers (joel Lamerton)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=10201&amp;teamId=10&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Team Ring Ticklers (5-5) 15255 pts - playing DROPPING BOMBS (8th)

    7th - <a title="Maxwells Marvels (Andrew Maxwell)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=10201&amp;teamId=3&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Maxwells Marvels (5-5) 14566 pts - playing Team Farken White 17 (5th)

    &nbsp;

    Congratulations to Fez as he has gained promotion to Premier League for next season as he will finish with the best record in Division 1! :) . and although they have exactly both guaranteed a spot, it is fairly safe to congratulate minis and travyboy11 who will almost certainly finish with the two best records in Division 2 and therefore be promoted to Division 1 :) .

    In regards to relegation nothing can be set in stone until the end of the finals, as there is the get out of jail clause still to possibly take effect; however there are some teams that have important games this week to get them out of the relegation zone... In Premier, dabombers just needs to win to stay safe (unless the get out clause comes into play of course); whereas both Walesy and maggots will be hoping he continues his losing streak and that one of them win as they could easily leapfrog him if that were to happen. In Division 1, Rev and Doobs look to be going down; Rodgo desperately needs a win and for other results to go his way if he is to save his season moreso than what he already has; and there are 3 other teams - costak, UnderAchievers and LiQuiD_SiXx - that could still finish bottom 4 and be relegated. Amazingly, LiQuiD_SiXx can still make finals but a loss could see him relegated!

    As for last week, the highest score was by Steve in Division 1 with a score of 1793. The highest scoring loser was HEAVER in Premier with a score of 1611 - which was his first loss of the season in a massive game against last seasons best record holder who had to win to keep his finals hopes alive. The closest game was in Premier as well and was between the two on the bottom  of the ladder - Walesy and Maggots - with a final margin of just 11 points. Finally, the lowest scorer this round was UnderAchievers with 1175.

    Now come over the break for the matchup reviews of last round::::::::::::::::::::

    PREMIER LEAGUE (by anthak):

    <a title="ant hak (Anthony Hack)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=1&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">ant hak (anthak) v <a title="Ruddys Cavaliers (Peter Rudd)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=20&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Ruddys Cavaliers (Ruddy) <a href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/boxscorequick?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=1&amp;scoringPeriodId=78&amp;seasonId=2012&amp;view=matchup&amp;version=quick">1394-1272

    I feel for Ruddy - copping so many injuries resulting in 7 less games played than me over the week. His players performed better than mine, averaging 31fppg compared to 29fppg for my players, but Ill still take the win. I made some big calls during the week to drop certain players trying to get an extra game here and there from the FA pool, and I thought it would be a closer finish. This result has left both teams on 5 and 5, with both still a chance to make finals. Top scorer for the game was Kobe (192 from 4) while my best was Ellis (186 from 4).

    &nbsp;

    <a title="Too Seriouseses (Les Wales)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=2&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Too Seriouseses (Walesy) v <a title="Adelaide Maggotz (Cameron Sears)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=21&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Adelaide Maggotz (maggots) <a href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/boxscorequick?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=2&amp;scoringPeriodId=78&amp;seasonId=2012&amp;view=matchup&amp;version=quick">1370-1359

    What a great match this was! Walesy broke all sorts of negative records last week, but turned it all around quick smart to post his 2nd win of the season and consign maggots to his 7th straight loss in this very very closely fought game. Both teams are likely to be relegated; however dabombers is only 1 game ahead of them in 3rd last spot, so one of the two can still avoid the drop with a win in the last round. Best scorer for the game was Love (199 from 3!) for Walesy, and best for Maggots was Millsap (193 from 4).

    &nbsp;

    <a title="Jasmines Mob (Jasmine Johnson)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=5&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Jasmines Mob (Jasmine) v <a title="Kings of Karlos (Sean Minetti, Leigh Walles)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=10&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Kings of Karlos (karlos &amp; Lethal) <a href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/boxscorequick?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=5&amp;scoringPeriodId=78&amp;seasonId=2012&amp;view=matchup&amp;version=quick">1637-1456

    Both these teams are safe in the finals - and were so even before this game - with Kings of Karlos even guaranteed of finishing top of the Too conference and having the first round bye. I think they will need it too, as they are spluttering a bit and may need a rest having lost 3 of their last 4 games after being undefeated before that. Jasmine had two players score relaly high this round - CP3 (256 from 4) and Ilyasova (244 from 4) - while the best for Karlos was Durant (196 from 4).

    &nbsp;

    <a title="Westside Hardcore (Michael Walters)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=6&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Westside Hardcore (Mick) v <a title="Wade Machine (Daniel Laengst)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=15&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Wade Machine (dabombers) <a href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/boxscorequick?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=6&amp;scoringPeriodId=78&amp;seasonId=2012&amp;view=matchup&amp;version=quick">1491-1199

    In the run home article during All Star weekend, I tipped Micka to go winless over the remaining 3 games... but im not sure why. He had a big win here against a poor Wade Machine (who scored the lowest score in Premier League this week) and has moved into the top 6. There are 6 teams fighting for two spots and even if Mick wins this week coming, he could still miss out, but Id rather be in 6th now than 7th or 8th - thats for sure. This loss has increased ddabombers chances of being relegated, but a win this week should save him from that - and it would be a shame to be relegated after winning the chip last season. Best scorer for this game was Dwight Howard (242 from 4) for dabombers; and the best for Mick was Brandon Jennings (190 from 4).

    &nbsp;

    <a title="Robert Sarvers Handbag (Chris Riches, Steve Smith)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=7&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Robert Sarvers Handbag (chris88 &amp; smittys07) v <a title="Fudges Sixers (Jim Tsilikas)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=16&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Fudges Sixers (fudge) <a href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/boxscorequick?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=7&amp;scoringPeriodId=78&amp;seasonId=2012&amp;view=matchup&amp;version=quick">1669-1252

    This win secured a playoff spot for RSH, so there is no sudden death final round game like last year. The loss for fudge, significantly reduced his chances of making the finals; however it is still quite possible. He would need to get a win against Mick by over 272 pts and both anthak and Ruddy would need to lose for fudge to claim 6th spot. Best scorer in this game was Al Jefferson (204 from 4) and close behind was Iguodala (196 from 4) - both from RSH; and the best for fudge was Bynum (194 from 4).

    &nbsp;

    <a title="Team HEAVER! (Dave Tong)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=13&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Team HEAVER! (HEAVER) v <a title="Run TMC (Owen Beebe)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=19&amp;seasonId=2012" target="_top">Run TMC (Owen) <a href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/boxscorequick?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=13&amp;scoringPeriodId=78&amp;seasonId=2012&amp;view=matchup&amp;version=quick">1611-1642

    Easily the match of the round! and there were some other crackers so I dont posit that lightly. Ive already written about this a bit above the break, but Ill repeat myself a bit here. This game was so high scoring with both teams finishing with top 4 scores in the league for this week, and the game finished with such a small margin of 31 pts. What made this matchup so special was how much was riding on it... After a shock loss last week for Owen, he has come up against all odds and defeated the previously unbeaten HEAVER to cling onto a finals chance. In the Run Home analysis I did a couple of weeks ago, I predicted Owen wuld win one match - but that was meant to be against me in round 9, and I presumed he would have needed that win to make the finals as he had the two top points scorers as opponents in the last two rounds. Now he has beaten one of them and that is probably the win he needs. One more win this week will definitely clinch it, but even a loss may even keep him in the top 6 due to his superior points for to the other challengers. Best scorer in this game was Rose (211 from 4) for HEAVER; and best for Owen was Pau Gasol (202 from 4).

    &nbsp;

    DIVISION 1 (by Steve):

    This is the last week of the minor round and there is still one finals spot undecided.  Both Team Stowie and Get Knicked have identical records of 5-5 however Stowie has the better points for record where he is currently 701   points in front of Get Knicked.   This week Stowie plays Everton 149érs who have only won one game during the season while Get Knicked come up against Linsanity 17.  In all likelihood Get Knicked will need to win their game against Linsanity 17 (which is very possible looking at the players schedule this week) and hope that the Everton 149érs can pull off the upset and defeat Team Stowie.

    The Jug-O-Naughts and Linsanity 17 have top spot locked up in both their respective conferences.   The other teams who will be playing in the finals are Albert Park Rangers, Crossy Crusaders and the Bucks Fizz.

    Onto the review of the Round 11 completed matches:

    &nbsp;

    Linsanity 17 (Steve)   1798   v   CK Nicks (Costak)   1461

    The third day of this matchup proved to be decisive where Linsanity 17 scored 511 pts on that day (which I think would be close to the highest daily score record for a day). By losing this match it has put an end to Costak’s chances of making the finals.  The leading scorers for Linsanity 17 this round were Ilyasova 244,  Westbrook 183 and Gooden 179.  The best for CK Nicks were Kobe 189, Maggette 164 and Gee 134.

    &nbsp;

    The Bucks Fizz (spm 67)   1411   v   Doobia Dominators (Doobs)   1344

    I thought an upset was on the cards heading into the last day of this matchup where Doobs was only behind by 30 odd points.  However Bucks Fizz was able to come home strong in the late game between the Clippers/Warriors where he had Ellis and Wright score 110 between them to get him the win.  The best players for Bucks Fizz were Ellis 186, Dirk 166 and Anderson 142.  For Doobs, the leading scorers were Durant 196, Irving 171 and George 167.

    &nbsp;

    NahlaVLittleDee (Rodgo)   1355   v   Everton 149érs (Rev)   1247

    This was another close match where NahlaVLittleDee were able to post their 3rd win for the season.  Both teams were playing for pride in this matchup and the result means that the Everton 149érs will win the wooden spoon for this season in Division One.  The best players for NahlaVLittleDee were Pau Gasol 202, Noah 143 and Stoudemire 142.  The best for the Everton 149érs were Garnett 157, Harrington 135 and Augustin 125.

    &nbsp;

    Team Stowie (Stowie)   1538   v   Crossy Crusaders (Crossy)   1368

    Team Stowie needed to win this match to keep their final’s chances alive and they were able to come up with the goods when needed.  Heading into the last day of this matchup, Crossy had a rough chance of holding on but once Iggy scored 74 pts in the early game this contest was all over.  Both teams were missing various players during the matchup.  Dwight Howard was the best for Stowie with 242, followed by Iggy 196 and Afflalo 158.  The best players for Crossy were Rose 211, Aldridge 173 and Griffin 168.

    &nbsp;

    The Jug-O-Naughts (Fez)   1734   v   Albert Park Rangers (bgt2110)   1449

    This was the match that everyone in Division One was looking forward to. The 2 top teams going head to head but the Jug-O-Naughts were able to make a mess of the Rangers just like they have done to everyone else.  At this time I can’t see who is going to beat the Jug-O-Naughts?  The leading scorers for the Jug-O-Naughts were J Smoove 194, Bynum 194 and Jamison 181.  The best players for the Rangers were Al Jefferson 204, Lawson 158 and Pierce 153.

    &nbsp;

    Get Knicked (Liquid_Sixx)   1483   v   Canuck Steelers (UA)   1180

    It was all or nothing for both teams in this matchup.  The winner would fight another day while the loser would see their final’s chances disappear.  Get Knicked came out on top and now need to win this week to have a rough chance of making the finals.  Unfortunately for the Steelers they were missing some of their key players in the match up in Lowry and Love which did not help their chances.  The best for Get Knicked were CP3 256, Millsap 193 and Jennings 190.  The best players for the Steelers were Love 199, Marion 149 and Hayward 103.

    &nbsp;

    DIVISION 2 (by smokinjoemisiti):

    SmokinJoe Misiti – 1617 defeated Cyril33s Crushers (hawker) – 1200

    Smokin was led by Dwight Howard’s 242 points, whilst the only worry is Kevin Martin who scored just 45. Hawker struggled with just 4 players scoring more than 100. Chris Paul was the standout with 256 from 4 games. Smokin sits at 2nd in his division whilst Hawker is out of the playoff picture having lost 8 straight matchups.

    &nbsp;

    Six Ten Two Forty (twoeyec) – 1421 defeated Team Ring Ticklers (joellamerton) – 1257

    Twoeyec’s top performers were Serge Ibaka (173) and James Harden (176) whilst his main concern is obviously with Deron Williams who missed some action. Aaron Afflalo is one who has had a good couple of weeks, but now with Gallinari back for Denver it will be interesting to see if his scores are affected. Joel’s top scorer was Pau Gasol who scored 202, whilst yet another injury for Steph Curry will frustrate Joel.

    &nbsp;

    Broady Broncos (nicksnow) – 1517 defeated Hawthorn OKC Magic (Cobra_Magic) – 1483

    Extremely close matchup with Nick pinching the win on the last day of play. Caron Butler’s struggles were a major reason for the loss for Cobra with the Clipper continuing his poor form and recording a minus 10 score on the final day. Monta Ellis was the top scorer for Nick with 186 whilst Ersan Illyasova continued his amazing form netting 244 for Cobra.

    &nbsp;

    Team Farken White (Jet) – 1541 defeated The Hinrich Manoeuvre (Don_Cottagers) – 1439

    Jet just scraped through in this one with no real massive scoring weeks from his players. Top scorer was Blake Griffin with 168 whilst Raymond Felton found some rare form and finished with 145. Don’s best performances came from Utah duo Al Jefferson (204) and Paul Millsap (193). The final day saw David West, Nate Robinson and Carlos Delfino provide Don with absolutely nothing allowing Jet to run over the top.

    &nbsp;

    Team Travysboys (travyboy11) – 1414 defeated Maxwells Marvels (maxweas) – 1259

    Paul George provided good value for Trav, scoring 167 points. Trav does have a few personnel problems though, most notably Ricky Rubio who will miss the rest of the season. Max got 211 points from Derrick Rose whilst Pekovic missed a couple of games.

    &nbsp;

    Dropping Bombs (brettmarinovich) – 1332 defeated Team 726 (minis) – 1310

    Brett came home like a train here winning the matchup on the final days play. OJ Mayo crucially pulled through with one of his better performances (53 points) whilst Minis had to play without Kyle Lowry who has had a terrific year. Overall, Kevin Durant scored 196 for Brett whilst Kevin Love had 199. Important to note is that Andrea Bargnani made his return this week.
