With only 4 rounds of our regular season left, three teams have pretty much guaranteed themselves a playoff spot as they all remain undefeated. In Division 1, <a title="The Jug-O-Naughts (Kristian Collins)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=10094&teamId=2&seasonId=2012" target="_top">The Jug-O-Naughts (coached by Fez) and <a title="Albert Park Rangers (Brett T, Michelle Johnstone)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=10094&teamId=10&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Albert Park Rangers (coached by bgt2110) are yet to play each other, and for either to miss out on the post season, they would have to lose all remaining games and lose ground on the points for ladder too - so 1 of them is a certainty to make it, and it is highly unlikely that either would miss. The other undefeated team is <a title="Team HEAVER! (Dave Tong)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=13&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Team HEAVER! (coached by HEAVER) who just handed <a title="Kings of Karlos (Sean Minetti, Leigh Walles)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=10&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Kings of Karlos their first loss; however, due to the big gap between them and 3rd in Premier, both of these teams are in prime position to win their respective division titles and get the first round bye in the playoffs.
There are no teams across the 3 leagues that are out of the finals race, but we do need to start discussing a trade deadline. We discussed it a little before the season and Im fairly sure it was decided that we would have one, but I put off deciding a date as we had more urgent issues at the time. Last year we had one and it worked well - we did not plan it this way, but it ended up coinciding with the exact moment that a team dropped out of finals contention for the first time. That would be hard to judge, and we only have a few dates available to us. But first things first... should we have a trade deadline at all? I have set up polls on all 3 homepages to decide - Well go with the majority out of all 36 teams.
Highest score of the week went to the aforementioned <a title="The Jug-O-Naughts (Kristian Collins)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=10094&teamId=2&seasonId=2012" target="_top">The Jug-O-Naughts with a whopping score of 1831, which was especially remarkable considering no other team got within 100 of that score, and only 2 within 200! The lowest score this week was by an injury hit <a title="Doobia Dominators (Andrew Doobs)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=10094&teamId=5&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Doobia Dominators, coached by Doobs in Division 1, who scored 986 and was the only team that didnt crack quad figures. The highest scoring loser for this week was <a title="Run TMC (Owen Beebe)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=19&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Run TMC coached by Owen in Premier League who scored a very respectable 1584 but was overrun by a rampaging <a title="Jasmines Mob (Jasmine Johnson)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=5&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Jasmines Mob on the final day, losing by just 14 points. The closest game though, was (also in Premier) between <a title="Adelaide Maggotz (Cameron Sears)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=21&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Adelaide Maggotz (coached by maggots) and <a title="Robert Sarvers Handbag (Chris Riches, Steve Smith)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=7&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Robert Sarvers Handbag (coached by chris88 & smittys07) with a margin of just 6 points, with the later victorious. Special mention should also go to the game between <a title="SmokinJoe Misiti (Jordan McCallum)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=10201&teamId=4&seasonId=2012" target="_top">SmokinJoe Misiti and <a title="Broady Broncos (nick somerton)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=10201&teamId=5&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Broady Broncos in Div2 who had a margin of just 7 points.
Over the break, I will write the Premier League review, Steve the Division 1 review and smokinjoemisiti will write the review for Division 2:::::::

PREMIER LEAGUE (by anthak)
<a title="Wade Machine (Daniel Laengst)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=15&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Wade Machine (dabombers) 1150 v <a title="ant hak (Anthony Hack)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=1&seasonId=2012" target="_top">ant hak (anthak) 1247
Ill start off with the grand final replay, as I was quite happy to come up trumps against last seasons champ. I wont go as far to say it was revenge, as it does not mean much at this stage of the season, but it has shifted my mentality away from relegation and onto finals prospects so its a happy place in the anthak camp for the time being. This was a very low scoring game as both teams were hit hard by injuries... Both Carmello and Gallinari injured themselves in their first game of the matchup and did not return, while we both had some DTDs and an already full IR to deal with as well. In the end, I finished up with 1 more game played from my mob than dabombers so there was nothing it that. I had been dreading this match actually, as we all know I hoped to draft Dwight Howard, but he was taken by dabombers with the pick just before me. But as it turned out, my eventual draftee Monta Ellis had a couple of big games and averaged 57.3 over the match compared to 55 from Howard over the same period. Howard did finish with the highest total score for the week though with 220 (from 4) and next best for dabombers was Tyson Chandler with 136 (from 4). While best for anthak was Griffin (184 from 4) and Ellis (172 from 3).
<a title="Fudges Sixers (Jim Tsilikas)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=16&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Fudges Sixers (fudge) 1436 v <a title="Too Seriouseses (Les Wales)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=2&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Too Seriouseses (walesy) 1160
Since Walesy beat me in the first game, he hasnt looked like winning, with a heap of injuries to his players. Fudge on the other hand, started poorly, but has turned his season right around with 3 wins in a row now. I know I keep harping on about it, but I cant get over the similarities between fudges season this year and last. I just hope I can put an end to his streak this week in our game. Walesys team has had a lot of injuries, but just as they all started to get fit again, KLove decided to get rubbed out for 2 games, and Amare Stoudamire missed the whole week under tragic circumstances as his brother died in a car accident. In the 2 games that Love played, he averaged about 65fppg, so with both of these two suiting up for the whole week, this game would have been a lot closer - and I wouldnt normally do this sort of what if scenario, but this is a special case as they are Walesys best 2 players and neither were actually injured. Westbrook was the best in this matchup with 219 points (from 4) for fudge, and his next best was Noah (176 from 4) who has continued his recent resurgence. Best for Walesy were Calderon (170 from 4) and Love (133 from 2).
<a title="Run TMC (Owen Beebe)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=19&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Run TMC (Owen) 1584 v <a title="Jasmines Mob (Jasmine Johnson)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=5&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Jasmines Mob (Jasmine) 1598
Owen looked to have this game under control early as he jumped out of the blocks well to lead by 158 with 3 days remaining, and even though both teams had the same amount of games to come over those 3 days, Jasmines Mob - led by a last day TD 90 from Rondo - stormed home to win by 14 points in a very high scoring affair. These two teams were the pace setters for much of last season and they are both right up there again; although this was a massive game in the context of the season as the winner has moved to 3rd on the rankings, while the loser is clinging onto 6th place at the moment. The highest scorer in this game was CP3 with 242 (from 4) which was also the highest individual score of the round. Supporting him for Jasmines Mob was Rondo (179 from 4), while top scorers for Owen were Wall (194 from 4) and Pau Gasol (192 from 2).
<a title="Ruddys Cavaliers (Peter Rudd)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=20&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Ruddys Cavaliers (ruddy) 1214 v <a title="Westside Hardcore (Michael Walters)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=6&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Westside Hardcore (mick) 1299
How quickly things can turn in this game. Last week everyone was touting Ruddys Cavs as legitimate challengers for the title, and at the same time Mick claimed that he drafted badly and that his team sucked... but maybe he was just trying to lure Ruddy into a false sense of security. Micks team turned up to play this week, after 4 losses on the trot, but it also has to be said that Ruddy has been cruelled by injuries - I was going to write this week, and then lately... but it has actually been since before the 2010/11 season begun when Boozer went down in a freak accident. Ruddy has some decisions to make now, with 3 players with the big O next to their name - and thats no reference to Oscar Robertson. In this game, the highest scorer was Wade with 220 (from 4), and supporting him for Ruddy was Kobe (182 from 4). For the victorious Westside Hardcore, it was LeBron (205 from 4), Shumpert (140 from 4) and McGee (136 from 4) doing most of the scoring.
<a title="Adelaide Maggotz (Cameron Sears)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=21&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Adelaide Maggotz (maggots) 1462 v <a title="Robert Sarvers Handbag (Chris Riches, Steve Smith)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=7&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Robert Sarvers Handbag (chris88 & smittys07) 1468
This was an intriguing match all week long. At the beginning, it looked like it was going to be a mismatch - as it was our lowest points scorer up against 2nd on the points for ladder, but there was nothing in it early with both teams still pretty much square after 2 days. The lead then swapped back and forth a couple of times before RSH pulled away for a handy lead of about 80 with 1 day to play. But even then chris88 did not think they would win, and even said they were "going to need about 4 simultaneous miracles to hold on" including for "Al Jefferson and Gordon Haywood both score 60 each" ... "but that is most likely not going to happen" - but guess what happened... 122 points between Haywood and Jefferson, and I suppose 4 miracles, as RSH was able to hang on by 6 points for a well deserved win. Although I dont want to take anything away from maggots as this was a mighty match and it was gonna hurt for whoever lost. DWill was the highest scorer of the match with 171 (from 4) for RSH, and close behind were Ibaka (167 from 4) & AlJeff (165 from 4). While for maggots Curry was easily the best as he had the highest score (165) and that was from 1 less game (3) than JRichardson (164 from 4) and Frye (162 from 4) who were pretty close behind points wise.
<a title="Kings of Karlos (Sean Minetti, Leigh Walles)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=10&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Kings of Karlos (karlos & Lethal) 1538 v <a title="Team HEAVER! (Dave Tong)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&teamId=13&seasonId=2012" target="_top">Team HEAVER! (HEAVER) 1725
I spoke about this a little up above the break. In what was a match between the only remaining undefeated teams in this league, HEAVER came out on top in a great contest. It was high scoring, and it was close right up until the final day where Team HEAVER pulled away FTW - winning that last day by 192 points. Over the week, Josh Smith was the highest scorer in this match with 221 (from 4) for HEAVER, and he was backed up by LMAldridge with 196 (from 4); while for Karlos, his best was Durant (209 from 4) and Nash (189 from 4).

DIVISION 1 (By Steve)
Linsanity 17 (Steve) 1606 v Crossy’s Crusaders (Crossy) 1577
This matchup had it all. The lead changed hands a number of times during the round and going into the final day I was leading by 29. Funnily enough the final margin for the match finished at 29 which was the margin at the start of the last day. I can thank Jeremy Lin for getting me over the line. Lin finished with 212 for the week. My other best scorers were Westbrook with 219 and Ilyasova 143. Crossy can count himself unlucky as he scored the 4th highest score for the round in Division One. The best players for Crossy were Aldridge 196, Griffin 184 and J Rich on 164.
The Jug O Naughts (Fez) 1831 v The Bucks Fizz (spm67) 1545
This match was another high scoring affair between 2 of the top teams in Divsion One. Fez ended up with a huge score of 1831 which is the highest score for Division One this season. Fez had 10 players in his roster who scored over 100 points this week which is a huge effort. The best players for Fez were J Smoove 221, Lebron 205 and Jamison on 186. The score of Buck’s Fizz this round would have beaten most of the teams in Division One. The leading scorers for Bucks Fizz were Nash 189, Marc Gasol 185 and Anderson 152.
Everton 149érs (Rev) 1225 v Canuck Steelers (UA) 1191
This was another close match whereby both teams were struggling with injuries at various stages. The 149érs were missing Augustin again and Steelers had to cope with Gallinari going down. The Steelers almost stole the win on the last day but ended up short by 34 points. Congratulations must go to the 149érs who have won their first match of the season, well done!. John Wall was the best for the 149érs with 194 followed by Timmy Duncan 165 and KG on 154. For the Steelers, the best players were Hayward 155, Bosh 151 and Lowry 145.
Albert Park Rangers (bgt2110) 1688 v Doobia Dominators (Doobs) 986
The Ranger’s winning ways continue and they remain undefeated for the season after smashing the Dominators. The Rangers have one of the strongest rosters in our league. The Rangers had a nice even spread of scores this week highlighted by 9 players scoring over 100 points. The best players for the Rangers were Calderon 170, Curry 164 and Lawson 164. Nothing much is going right for Doobs at the moment as he Billups, Jack and Irving all out injured at the moment. The best player for the Dominators were Durant 209, Rondo 179 and DeRozan 114.
Get Knicked (Liquid Sixx) 1533 v NahlavLittleDee (Rodgo) 1301
Get Knicked have now made it 3 wins a row and are quietly building momentum as the season goes along. They will be even happier now that Manu is back on the court. Get Knicked were in total control of this match up from day one and their best players were CP3 242, West 144 and Harden 141. Unfortunately for Rodgo, he had to deal with Amare Stoudemire not playing all week due to the death of his brother. The leading scorers for Rodgo were Wade 220, Pau Gasol 192 and Noah 176.
Team Stowie (Stowie) 1465 v CK Nicks (Costak) 1121
Stowie was able to get back on the winner’s board this week with a comfortable victory over Costak. Unfortunately for Costak he had to put up with Rose being out with a back injury for most of the match up. Stowie would be pleased with the performance of his new recruit Dwight Howard who scored 220 for the round. He also received good scores from D Will 171 and Booker 160. Kobe was the best player for Costak with 182 followed by Holiday 142 and Gortat 124.

DIVISION 2 (by smokinjoemisiti)
Broady Broncos (nicksnow) – 1544 defeated SmokinJoe Misiti (smokinjoemisiti) – 1537
A ridiculously close matchup in a round where there were plenty of close encounters. Nick got 220 points from Dwyane Wade, whilst he had some injuries worries with Gallinari and Varejao who are now facing extended time on the sidelines, and a couple of others players who missed the odd game. Smokin’s top scorer was Dwight Howard who also had 220 points. The final day saw Smokin have a 6-4 player advantage and he came home strong with 237 points to Nick’s 159, but it wasn’t good enough.
Maxwell’s Marvels (maxweas) -1276 defeated Six Ten Two Forty (twoeyec) – 1210
Max won this on the final days play even with Rose sitting out crucial time. A minus 2 point performance from Twoeyec’s Josh Howard on the final day was exactly what Six Ten Two Forty didn’t need, allowing Max to run away with the win. Top scorer for Max was Kobe Bryant with 182 and for Twoeyec, Deron Williams scored 171.
Team 726 (minis) – 1465 defeated Team Farken White (Jet) -1400
Minis jumped on the Jeremy Lin bandwagon and rode him all the way to a win after the Knick scored 212 points for the round to lead all scorers in this matchup. Spencer Hawes and Jarrett Jack missed games for Minis but the Lin pickup proved the difference. Jet got 184 from Blake Griffin but missed significant points from Carmelo Anthony.
Team Ring Ticklers (joellamerton) – 1620 defeated Team Travysboys (travyboy11) – 1440
The Gasol brothers were a big reason why Joel got the win this round getting 192 from Pau and 185 from Marc. Interestingly, Marc made the All Star game and Pau didn’t. Worth note was Steph Curry who is starting to hit top form, producing another 80+ point game this round. Trav got 189 from 38 year old Steve Nash whilst he was without the efforts of Amare Stoudemire for the entire rounds play.
Hawthorn OKC Magic (Cobra_Magic) – 1326 defeated Cryril33s Crushers (hawker) – 1252
Cobra lost Kyrie Irving and Chauncey Billups for some games this round but Lebron James’ 205 points helped ease the pain. Chris Paul had 242 and Josh Smith scored 221 for Hawker but there was little else to talk about. The finals day of play saw Cobra get 56 from Gordon Hayward and 61 from Lebron allowing him to run over the top of Hawker and take the win.
Dropping Bombs (brettmarinovich) – 1341 defeated The Hinrich Manoeuvre (Don_Cottagers) – 1315
Brett got 209 from Kevin Durant whilst Don’s top scorer was Durant’s teammate Russell Westbrook who scored 219 points. This matchup came down to the final days play of the round and it was Rajon Rondo who was clearly the difference. Rondo recorded a triple double against the Bulls, who were without Derrick Rose, allowing him to score a whopping 90 fantasy points.
