As we move into the split round, most teams are very much complete and this week saw some whopping scores registered. We also saw the keys being handed to a new owner...2 in fact...meaning Ford should be coughing up 2 sets :p

So this week we will start with the Pine Warmers who have remained in 17th place overall this week even though the league averaged 2370 this week and had only 2 teams who scored less than 2300  a top effort.

The leagues overall average is 2215 and this week saw some strong results from tiger4life and9/11WasAnInsideJob. Life Post Richo cemented their spot at the summit while a few teams made ground up on the leaders with 2nd and 3rd both taking losses.

With some cracking SuperCoach league games coming up this week (and some beauties in the league - 1 v 2, 3 v 7, 4 v 6), a lot of key SuperCoach players under injury clouds and semi LTIs, and the split round captaincy trick being played, this is going to be a HUGE round of football...not to mention the hawks have the bumbers on Friday night the triple MCG.

    Results are over the break

Now on to the Orange Boys who had a weekly average of 2297 and only 3 teams scoring under 2200. This league is currently sitting 190 overall and an average of 2146 and had some massive scores this week, namely Portland Players with a ridiculous 2668 who knocked off pseudonuts who scored 2487 (you have gotta feel for the coach...I mean to loose with 2487). Next come The Duds with 2427 and now have 3 on the trot after a horrendous start to the season.

    And now for SoUpS...

The TooSerious20 league continued its strong performance in 2010, with the league average this round of 2,336. This was mostly helped along by fantastic out of the blue performance by Bend Sinister who won this round clearly with a mass 2,550. In doing so, he has thrown himself into contention by jumping from sixth to fourth overall in the dash for the end of season cash.

Round 12 showed some massive performances from Lindsay Thomas and Jack Riewoldt, and as expected, no-one in the TooSerious20 were lucky enough to have these guys in their team, and thankfully not, or the overall standings may look decidedly different.

Outside of the major performance from Luke down at Bend Sinister, the other piece of news to arise from Round 12 was the very average performance of league leaders Mash Sticks. With a dismal score of 2,133 Mash Sticks have been overtaken by Behind The Goals who now enjoy first place overall as we head into the split round.

General Manager of Mash Sticks Michael could not be reached for comment....

The fixture for Round 13s split round is below, and with this round stretching over two weeks, many decisions will need to be made, as stars like Didak, Grimes, Maxwell and Scott Thompson all under injury clouds, Round 13 will no doubt bring more surprise results.

The TooSerious20 league finally jumped a place to 48th overall.

I have also decided to include the TooSerious20 ladder as well as total point standings. Its interesting to note that not all the top point scorers are necessarily at the top of the ladder.

    Till next week

So thats it for the week, how did everyone else do? Anyone change from perma captain and got a win from doing it (Im looking at you Cal). Anyone make a horror trade that cost them, or some gold that got them over the line? Big games coming up for anyone? Let the banter begin.
