Hello all and welcome to another installment of the TS Leagues Review, and what a week it has been. As previously mentioned by walsey, Freo are firming up as a contender to the top 4 winning in Melbourne for the second time this year, the Hawks are well and truly back in business having won 6 on the trot now but with a tough 4 weeks coming up, we will see if they are a (Too) serious contender for the flag or not. Adelaide managed to stay off the bottom for now with a thumping over a hapless Melbourne, the Roos continue to impress and remain hot on the heels of the 8, Brisbanes season continues to spiral out of control as does West Coasts, Collingwood looked very convincing against the Bloods and the game of the round proved to be just that with Saints holding the wood over the Cats in the home and away season.

Now then, on to the TS leagues and we will start this week with the Pine Warmers who had a below par week averaging 2197 this round which has seen them drop down to 20th overall. There were a couple of huge results including top spot getting knocked off (thrashed in fact), and LiQuiD top scoring with 2441 however, the big news for the round was the mighty Krunchy Nuts leapfrogging the pack and moving into second on the ladder with a crucial win over 9/11WasAnInsideJob by 15 points. Other notable performances include whoknows? handing Veni Vidi Vici a 300 point flogging and Year of the CATS sneaking over the line against Razors to move into 6th position.

Next week brings some tasty matches where 6 of the top 8 will be locked in battles in what could be a make or break round for some.

And now for the Orange Boys where we saw The Duds late charge at the finals come to screeching holt at the hands of The Mob Goes Wild to tune of a lowly 2 points while Armchair Athletes continued to smash all challengers after handing sambeno a flogging to the tune of 465 points. The Orange Boys held their overall league ranking of 183 this week averaging 2147 points per week. This one is still anyones race as no-one is assured of a finals berth outside the top 2-3.

TooSerious20 League

A tumultuous split round comes to an end, and after much heartache through various late omissions and the inability to predict one week ahead, all fantasy football fans are subject to more with a Thursday -> Sunday round ahead.

Interestingly enough, The TooSerious20 league averaged 2233.31 this round, which is higher than our season average to date. However, despite this result, there were still plenty of concerns for coaches with lacklustre performances by Hurn (33), Jamar (51), Chapman (0), Pods (24), Hodge (67), and not even a C/VC loophole could assist even the most thrifty of coaches.

Some breakout performances from clubs within the TooSerious20 league, including 2483 being the top score from Codemonkeys, which is off the back of an impressive 2459 last round. The pack is acomin....

Were approaching the business end of the fantasy season now as things draw to a close, and plenty of decisions still to be made. What is to be made of Brown? If you had Kruezer, which ruckman shall provide the best bang for your buck? Is Sir Riewoldt a viable trade in shortly? And will we be forced to choose between Waters and Hurn?

All the things that frustrate us so much, are also the things which make us love this game...
