Well another week has past and things are starting to get interesting in all of the leagues. Injuries and byes are playing havoc with most teams and with the fantasy season almost half way in before playoffs start please join Karlos, Stowie and myself as we wrap up all the happenings and results for week 6.

LEAGUE 1 (Review by Stowie)
Team Wiggles (Wiggles) 90 at Adelaide Maggotz (Maggots) 101
Week 6 saw Aaron Rodgers (40fpts) throw 6 touchdowns and give Maggotz their second straight win. Wiggles had strong performances from Vick (22fpts) and WR Mike Wallace (16fpts) but was always in trouble after the Packers demolition of the Texans. Maggotz will be hoping this is a sign of things to come from Rodgers.
Massillon Tigers (Johnson) 110 at Team Stowie (stowie) 64
The Tigers monstered Stowie this week thanks to a trio of highscoreres in RB Rice (22fpts) and WRs, Welker (20fpts) and Vincent Jacks (18fpts). Stowie was led by the dropper Dez Bryant (21fpts). This was the Tigers highest score this season and theyll hope they can get on a roll now as they have the team to challenge the top sides.
Under Achievers (UnderAchievers) 57 at Vicks Dog Fighters (Fez) 105
Fez is the other team on a 2 game winning streak with WR Jordy Nelson (31fpts) benefitting from Rodgers big game and #1 Draft Pick Foster (15fpts) doing the damage. It was really a case of no one showing up for UAs with WR Hartline (0fpts) and Phillip Rivers (5fpts) not living up to their recent form.
Show Me Ya TDs (wateman) 128 at Lilydale Leather Heads (bgt) 75
The second win for TDs on the year with big scores from WR Green (26fpts), TE Gates (20fpts) and Tom Brady (20fpts) proving too much for the Leather Heads to handle. RB Shonn Greene (34fpts) had his best outing of the year and WR Cruz (11fpts) fought hard, but the rest of the team failed to hit double figures. It will be interesting to see who gets the start at QB for the TDs again this week.
TooSerious TooSeriousesses (walesy) 66 at Jimbos Juggernaut (jimbowan) 95
The Juggernaut jumps to top spot in the league all alone on 5 wins. With Stafford (20fpts), RB Spiller (16fpts) and WR Percy Harvin (13fpts) making up for a donut from the Seahawks D/ST. The TooSeriousesses only had two players hit double figures, Big Ben (18fpts) and Megatron (13fpts) as they were hit hard by the bye and injuries.
WEEK 7 SCHEDULE
Show Me Ya TDs (2-4) at Team Stowie (2-4)
Vicks Dog Fighters (4-2) at Team Wiggles (3-3)
Under Achievers (3-3) at Massillon Tigers (2-4)
Adelaide Maggotz (2-4) at Jimbos Juggernaut (5-1)
TooSerious TooSeriousesses (3-3) at Lilydale Leather Heads (4-2)
KEEPER LEAGUE (Review by bgt2110)
Brady’s Bunch (80) def Welcome back Mr. Wallace (75)
In a low scoring, close contest it was Brady’s Bunch who prevailed in front of their home crowd. For a team who has so far gone the whole season with only one playing QB whilst all other teams have two it has been a mighty effort from the rest of the team to sit on a 3-3 record. It was Nelson(30) and Rice(22) who ultimately got the job done this week. Mr Wallace will return home no doubt disappointed but they still got solid contributions from Spiller(16), Weeden(15) and Palmer(14) and with CJ2K(11) putting his hand up for a starting gig the options are there for Mr Wallace to grasp. He too is sitting on a respectable 3-3 record.
Billy Bass(150) def Team Simonoz(122)
Billy slammed the door shut on a very good Simonoz effort this week and top scored with a massive 150 points making it impossible for any other team to get close to him, although Simonoz gave it a mighty shake. Rodgers(38), Green(25), Dalton(19) and Bradshaw(17) would have been just about the highest individual scores on any of the teams this week and are combining beautifully for Billy to move him to a league equal leading 5-1 record. Who can stop this team ?? Team Simonoz travelled all the way to Billy’s home turf and got the best out of Vick(21), Bryant(21), Ponder(19) and McFadden(13). As mentioned a mighty effort but not quite good enough to take the chocolates. A 1-5 record leaves Simonoz some catching up to do.
Rigil Kentaurus(97) def Jimbo’s Juggernauts(81)
Rigil finally got their first win of the season and to do it in front of their patient home crowd was a bonus. With Stafford(20) repaying some faith for a first round draft pick and James Jones(15) benefiting from Green Bay’s offence it was a good effort to finally join the winners list. Going into MNF Rigil needed Gates(20) to just catch the pigskin and go for 10 yards and he duly delivered with his best score of the season. With a 1-5 record there is a lot of catching up still needed. Jimbo had more consistent scorers with Romo(16), Tynes(13), Cruz(11) and McCoy(10) all in double figures but a score of 81 is not going to be enough to win most weeks. Jimbo is now 2-4 and will need a win next week to stay in touch with the others.
Canton Bullldogs (106) def Waito’s Warriors (79)
Canton dominated at home with a convincing 27 point win to move them to an imposing 5-1 record. They have only failed to reach 100 points once all season and in that game they scored 99. They have match winners all over the park and this week it was P Manning(22), V Jackson(18), D Moore(16) and Flacco(13) who have all been consistent scorers for the bullldogs each week. The warriors were simply outclassed this week but their 3-3 record sees them not far off the pace. Roethlisberger(17), Calvin Johnson(13), Martin(12) and Morris(10) were the best this week for the warriors but they need Rivers to stop throwing picks and start scoring touchdowns in order to take the points.
Canuck Warriors(108) def The Jug-O-Naughts(72)
The home team again triumphed in this match up with the 5-1 Canuck getting the job done against the Jug-0-Naughts who now slip to 3-3. The Jugs now find themselves right in the middle of a very even competition. When RG3(34) burst down the field for a 76 yard TD run the home ground Canuck crowd erupted in cheers, he sure is fun to watch. Larry Fitzgerald(15) and a somewhat quiet by his standards Foster(15) backed up their rookie QB to get Canuck the win. The Jugs struggled in this matchup with only Brady(19) and Peterson(12) doing any damage whilst Finley(1) was particularly disappointing in a very strong GB offence.
Team Stowie(130) def Candlestick 49’ers(62)
Team Stowie came out with all guns blazing to blow the candles out down 49’ers way. It was a comprehensive win down at the 49’ers park with Shonn Greene(34) having the match of his life with 3 TD’s, Freeman(23) returned to his 2010 form and they were ably backed up by Wallace(15) and Harvin(13) who caught everything that was thrown their way. Stowie have been waiting for a few weeks for this type of performance and it came against the luckless 49’ers who are a much better team than this performance indicates. For the 49’ers Welker(19) did his job while Decker(15) grabbed a TD. With the Ravens d/st (3) hit by a number of injuries to key personnel it might be time for Candlestick to see if the Giants d/st (16) can back up their strong performance next week. Team Stowie are now 4-2 and well in contention for finals action while the 49’ers join both Rigil and Simonoz on 1-5.
LEAGUE 2 (Review by Karlos)
<a href="http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/boxscorequick?leagueId=822150&teamId=1&scoringPeriodId=6&seasonId=2012&view=scoringperiod&version=quick">Kings of Karlos @ Peg’s Men
5 weeks in and the best of the west to date met the best of the east to date. Team Walles had a mid-week name change to Peg’s Men and a host of players out with the bye – count em MJD, Newton and Colston. Peg’s Men got off to a flyer in the first quarter of Thursday Night football with Wallace sitting on 14 before quarter time. Unfortunately that was to be the highlight of the week with Wallace finishing on 15, Spiller 16 and Kolb 13 the only players in double figures. Kings of Karlos got a huge 25 from Green, 18 from Brady and 10 from Morris but not much else. It would be Greens 25 that carried KOK to the win 86-79 in a game hardly worthy of the top billing.
<a href="http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/boxscorequick?leagueId=822150&teamId=3&scoringPeriodId=6&seasonId=2012&view=scoringperiod&version=quick">Team Mayhem @ Albuquerque AZTECS
Both teams came into this matchup looking to avoid a 2 game losing streak and with neither team affected by the byes it would be a close game. The Albuquerque AZTECS were led by the kicker Hansen with 16, 13 from White, 11 from Manning and 10 from McCoy but got little else with no other player on the field scoring more than 6 whilst Redman sat on the bench with 12. Team Mayhem got a huge 20 from Gates in a return to form and 13 from McFadden but no other player above 7. Team Mayhem had their chances here and may well rue selection that meant Johnson was benched but had a return to form with 12 which was 5 more than their replacement back plus a horrible performance from Rivers with a 5. The AZTECS are fortunate to take this on 69-65.
<a href="http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/boxscorequick?leagueId=822150&teamId=4&scoringPeriodId=6&seasonId=2012&view=scoringperiod&version=quick">Team Coleman @ AllGuts NoGorey
This game was a good old fashioned shellacking! Team Coleman had a huge turn around in their fortunes with 3 players scoring 20 or more. They were led by Nelson with 30, 28 from a Bronco’s D that only really played a half, 20 from Stafford, 19 from Maclin and 12 from the kicker Walsh. AllGuts NoGorey would also have 5 players in double figures but none would get close to the efforts of Coleman. They were led by 17 from Bradshaw, 15 from Fitzgerald, 13 from Megatron, 13 from the kicker Bryant and 12 from Martin. This doubled with 3 players scoring between 3 and -1 meant a huge win was handed to Team Coleman 128-81. Is the coach in trouble at AllGuts NoGorey?!
<a href="http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/boxscorequick?leagueId=822150&teamId=8&scoringPeriodId=6&seasonId=2012&view=scoringperiod&version=quick">Clovelly Kookaburras @ Team Short
The Clovelly Kookaburras were looking to make it 3 in a row after a slow start to the year while Team Short were looking to back up from last weeks big win. The Kookaburras were without Graham and Forte due to the bye but got an unbelievable 34 from Greene who had only scored 27 in 5 games combined, 21 from Vick and 16 from Moore. Team Short also had 3 players in double figures with Rodgers scoring an amazing 38 to eclipse Greenes effort, 13 from the TE Rudolph and 12 from Jackson. This game would not be decided by the amazing performances of a couple but from the consistency of Kookaburras team overall and some poor selection by Short who left 15 and 10 on the bench in underperforming positions. The Kookaburras win 106-92 and string together 3 in a row.
<a href="http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/boxscorequick?leagueId=822150&teamId=9&scoringPeriodId=6&seasonId=2012&view=scoringperiod&version=quick">Team Greer @ Brons’ Allstars
Like the Kookaburras of the game before Bron’s Allstars came into this looking to string together 3 in a row and like the game before they got there in part thanks to some poor opposition selection. The Allstars were led by a pair of 19’s from Ponder standing in for Brees and Welker who is well and truly back. 13 from Harvin and 3 scores between 8 and 9 helped put together a competitive total but 15 left on the bench from Decker could have cost them. Team Greer who has consistently scored in the 90’s will rue selection as 2 RB’s sat on the bench with scores of 16 and 9 between them. For those that did score Manning’s 22 was great, 15 from Foster, 13 from the kicker Tynes and 12 from Peterson were useful but they just weren’t enough when you cop a donut in a close one. 3 in a row for the Allstars who win 85-82.
<a href="http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/boxscorequick?leagueId=822150&teamId=11&scoringPeriodId=6&seasonId=2012&view=scoringperiod&version=quick">Mount Gambier MontSTARS @ Wantirna Dum Dum’s
The up and down Dum Dum’s faced the Mount Gambier MontSTARS as both teams looked to get back on track after losses last week to the division leaders. The Dum Dum’s were once again led by that star rookie RG3 who bounced back from a week 5 concussion with a beautiful 34, 18 from Jackson and a pair of 11’s from Cruz and the kicker Gostkowski. The MontSTARS like so many others this week could look at selection and feel unlucky as they left a superior scoring D and flex on the bench but that’s the game folks gotta pick the right players! The MontSTARS got 22 from R Rice, 21 from Bryant, 16 from Romo, 14 from S Rice and 12 from the kicker Vinatieri. It wouldn’t be enough as the Dum Dum’s squeak out a close one 102-98.
