    PLAYOFF MATCHUP PREVIEWS

Lilydale Leather Heads (6-6-1) at Jimbos Juggernaut (10-3)

Some solid drafting sees Jimbos Juggernaut, who had the 10th overall pick, finishing the season with the best record. Only playing once during the season it was Jimbos Juggernaut humiliating the Lilydale Leather Heads 116 to 57 in Week 3. Lilydale Leather Heads will be hoping Drew Brees can bounce back from shocker and lead them to victory here, while Jimbos Juggernaut would love to have Percy Harvin available as theyre quite short at WR without him.

Show Me Ya TDs (8-5) at Vicks Dog Fighters (8-5)

Riding a league best 6 game winning streak, Show Me Ya TDs would like a repeat of their Week 13 effort in the playoffs. Show Me Ya TDs got up by twelve in the final game of the season, but Vicks Dog Fighters picked up an eight point win in Week 5. 1st overall pick Arian Foster has been super consistant for Vicks Dog Fighters with only one game under 10fpts while Show Me Ya TDs has relied on rookies Doug Martin, Trent Richardson and RGIII and will hoping the rookie wall can be broken.

THE KEEPER LEAGUE (review by bgt2110)

    #5 Waito’s Warriors (232) def #4 The Jug-0-Naughts (224)

Well they say that it all comes down to Monday Night Football and this matchup was no different with The Jugs holding a slight 3 point advantage heading into MNF with the warriors needing Alfred Morris to run or catch for just 30 yards to get the win and he delivered nicely ending up with over 120 yards but a fumble along the way. It didn’t matter though and the warriors got the 8 point win and a showdown with Team Stowie in next weeks semi final. Both teams would be deserving champions of this league with each scoring over 110 points this week and both leaving around another 60 on the bench. Such depth is going to require some tough decisions in the offseason when both teams cull their list to the mandatory 6 keepers. For the warriors Calvin Johnson(23) has overcome the Madden curse while Demaryius Thomas(21) is Peyton’s favourite receiver and he delivers each week. The Texans d/st(20) bounced back in a strong way after last weeks disappointing effort while young gun Trent Richardson(15) and the man of the moment Alfred Morris(10) came through for the warriors when it counted most. With Bryce Brown(27) warming the pine i can’t wait to see which way Waito goes and who he turns to next week against Team Stowie. The Jugs have had a great season and have been well served by their top gun QB combination of Brady(11) and Ryan(10), unfortunately this week they had a quiet one and it was left to Peterson(28) who many believe to be better now than he was pre ACL while Josh Gordon(17) and Gostkowski(11) both had impressive games.

Next week : Team Stowie versus Waito’s Warriors

    #6 Welcome back Mr Wallace(187) def #5 Billy Bass(178)

Another close final decided by less than 10 points saw the underdog Mr Wallace overcome a 27 point deficit from last week to defeat Billy Bass who put up a great effort but just came up short. Mr Wallace has won 4 on the trot now and is definately a serious contender for overall glory with momentum his way. Like all teams in the playoffs Mr Wallace has huge depth on his roster with a score of 111 points this week and 79 on the bench. On the weekend Palmer(20) can’t buy a win with the Raiders but he was instrumental for Mr Wallace, Marshall(16) is the bears favourite receiver while Weeden(15), Matt Bryant(14) and Spiller(13) were all excellent. Mr Wallace meets Canton Bullldogs in next weeks semi final and with the bullldogs having not scored less than 90 points in any one week Mr Wallace is going to have to get his starting line up decisions spot on in order to continue his winning streak. Russell Wilson(26), Myers(19) and Mike Williams(15) all had outstanding performances while sitting on the bench for Mr Wallace and are pressing for a spot on the field. Billy has had a great season and no doubt will be back looking to go better next year and with a young team including Dalton(14), AJ Green(8) and Sam Bradford(13) combining with the experienced Bradshaw(11), Roddy White(2), Dwayne Bowe(6) and with the number one QB in the league, Aaron Rodgers(14) the future looks bright for the Bass.

Next week : Canton Bullldogs versus Welcome back Mr Wallace

    Consolation finals

    #7 Canuck Warriors(228) def #8 Team Simonoz(197)

    #10 Jimbo’s Juggernaut (205) def # 9 Candlestick 49’ers(166)

    #11 Rigil Kentaurus(176) def #12 Brady’s Bunch(173)
