TS - Pies League 2012

The big fish to land will be Rommel.

 

We all have a choice of 5 leagues to join Fez.

Part of the concept here is that instead of joining public leagues or random and hastily assembled TS leagues, folks can now choose to battle with like-minded friends under the TS umbrella. Some could be expected to be in a team league, a state league and (hopefully) a donors league.

Simonoz has indicated that he is looking forward to a Pies league in addition to giving us more heartache again next year in the Expats. Just suggesting keep a spot for him until he has a chance to confirm.

I'm fine to crush the opposition, but I fear that Rommel's Legion will be reworked after this year's finals series.

Would be interested to see what Mick's reading is. Me thinks Lance Armstrong - how to go back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back (repeat as required).

I'm wanted in quite a few leagues, but if we are going to do more team vs team, I'd be more happy to do Pies than Vic Metro.

Rommel's Legion is tanking!

 

Not at all. Just that last year Mick said Rommel and the Roman Legion was why the Pies won in 2010, and that he'd have to improve it in 2011 (enter Lance) to win.

If the Pies can get up in 2011, then Buckley will need to add some more changes in order to achieve a three-peat.

Hence while Rommel's Legion might have been ok to play with in 2011, it might need to be the Armada in 2012.

We won't know until Mick goes On the Couch again with another trophy in his keeping.

 

Hmmm. Slip of the old keyboard there. Of course Rommel is credited with having invented tanking.
