Was Lake really that good at the weekend?

    How come every1 has jumped on the bandwagon, i did not see the round 2 game but he was rubbish in round 1. Was he really that much better or were there some easy marks etc?

    No he was much better. Those intercept marks are SC gold. If he plays like that week in week out he will end up being a keeper. The dogs did chip it around in the second half though which helped his score.

    As I have mentioned earlier in other threads, the Crows gameplan of kicking long to their tall forwards (Tippett & Walker) is exactly the style of game to play right into Lake's hands with his ability to read the play early and get into position for those intercept marks.
