same thing happened to me a few years ago with heater when he got done in a hit and run...was one of my last trades of the season.
Who are people bring in for Shaw? What do fellow coaches think of Silvagni? Can he keep up the 100 avg. If so would be great value and a good POD.
I'm glad it happened this season though, where it doesn't really matter at all. Not going to finish that highly any way. At least it will stop me from trading on Thursday nights though. Just a straight trade up to Fisher next week. Was planning to get both and push Adcock to D8, but now that plan has gone out the window.
I feel your pain Jibba, all week I was consumed by Adcock which led to a trading paralysis - luckily. Now Shaw is gone for Newman and hopefully Adcock comes good.
That sucks Jibba and co! I personally bought Heater about 2 or 3 weeks ago, he has dropped about 20K or 30K since. At least you didn't waste a trade AND lose money Think I will just get Broughton now, maybe leave Lower at D7?
Dammit. Not sure who to trade in now. I have Deledio, Gibbs, Goddard, Heppell, Broughton and Lower. Every other position is fully upgraded, just my backline is extremely weak. I was planning to upgrade Heppell and Lower, but not I have Shaw which will hold me back. 7 Trades left and $11,800 in the bank. I could do a downgrade/upgrade, but not sure if I see anybody that I can downgrade to. With no downgrade and a straight swap, I can afford players from about $422,000 and down. I will probably get Fisher in a few weeks when he goes down, unless I get more bad luck, but at this stage, I think my options are: -Newman -Grundy -Murphy Leaning towards Newman. Thoughts? Or is it worth just looking for a downgrade, and going for someone above the $422,000 mark? Like: -Suckling -Hurn -Martin -Birchall -Enright Just not sure who to downgrade to at this point. I really had my eyes on Callinan, but he is injured. Thinking Newman, and saving my downgrade for later in case I need it. Sitting comfortably in the top 4 in all of my leagues, pretty sure I'm top 2 in all of them.

9pm last night - Out Batchelor, In Shaw 4pm today - Out Shaw, In Broughton The only consolation is that he didn't lose any value in that short time.
I had to double trade, so I can't even trade him out yet lol. I figured something like this would happen, especially with all my backline upgrades this year after Enright (rested week after), Adcock (Broken hand) and now Shaw. Watch out Fisher next week . If the Dons can pull out a good game and Lower scores me a decent ~80 odd, I'll be a happy man. ^.^

Hot Pies, You have the option of Talia from Adelaide as a defensive or even forward downgrade (he is MPP). Costs $110,200. Don't have to get on this week though, only playing 2nd game so can think about it for a week if you need to.
@homerj Yeah might wait just a little bit with all the bad luck, lol. Who knows what will happen next week. Callinan, he did a hammy? I saw he is expected back in round 19? I might wait a week. I'm leaning toward a straight swap to Newman.

I made the rookie mistake of trading him in as M7 last night. At least I held off on a 2nd trade, so I'll make that now to move Shaw on. I would love to take the Bartel trade back now.
