With half the year already over and with many Supercoachers either nearly out of trades or have trades to burn, these coming weeks are very important weeks to start making your move in your league and in the overall rankings. Supercoachers across the whole competition are now looking for the little extra edge over everyone else for those league wins and if your lucky that end $25,000. So i have decided to write up about those players that are currently running hot and those players that are currently out of form. But apart from from the obvious stars like Ablett and Franklin i have decided to go with players that have been playing well above or below their average lately.

[span style="font-size: 1.2em;">Whos Hot
[span style="font-size: 0.8em;">1. Scott Thompson (Ade)
Average in the last 3 weeks: 138.6
Average before that: 100.25
Overall Average: 110.73
Scott
has taken his game to a new level over the last 3 weeks. Even though he
was averaging a very respectable 100.25 in his first 8 weeks, his last
3 have been outstanding. With scores of 135, 134 and 147 in the past 3
weeks it has highlighted not only his scoring skills but also his
consistency. Currently priced $568,100 i believe he would be a great
addition to any side.
2. Jonathan Brown (Bris)
Average in the last 4 weeks: 136
Average before that: 81
Overall Average: 103
The
big powerhouse forward from Brisbane has showed in the last 4 weeks why
many regard him as the best Centre Half Forward in the competition.
With scores of 131, 132, 165 and 116 since coming back from his week
off through injury he has shown why he should be in every Supercoach
side. He is also climbing back to his staring price of $597,000, he is
currently at $565,400.
3. Jason Akermanis (WB)
Average in the last 4 weeks: 123
Average before that: 86
Overall Average:99.45
The
former Brownlow medalist has been showing us that form recently that
got him the medal. Playing as a forward he has got 14 goals and scores
of 93, 147, 124 and 128 from his last 4 games. Aker is a superstar and
it was only a matter of time before he got back to this form again. He
will also be very happy about the fact that he has himself in his own
side. Currently he is priced at $545,500
4. Brock McLean (Melb)
Average in the last 3 weeks: 119
Average before that: 86.85
Overall Average: 95.64
One
of Melbournes only shining lights in what has been a very dismal
season. He is beginning to show why many regard him as the future
captain of the club. He has amassed scores of 132, 102 and 123 over the
last 3 weeks and is reasonably priced at $481,500
5. Travis Johnstone (Bris)
Average in the last 4 weeks: 127.5
Average before that: 84.83
Overall Average: 101.9
My
recruit of the year. I think all this former number 1 draft pick was a
change of scenery and new teammates which dont let him done, and he
hasnt let them done either. Scores of 171, 76, 92 and 167 show that
when he is on he is on. Is priced at $525,800 which is very good
considering his seasons average
Apologies to Nathan Brown
[span style="font-size: 1.2em;">Whos Not
[span style="font-size: 0.8em;">1. Andrew Mcleod (Ade)
Average in the last 5 weeks: 57.5
Average before that: 110
Overall Average: 86.18
This
one legendary Supercoach player has hit some what of a form slide.
Averaging 110 in his first 6 games and Supercoachers getting on the
bandwagon he has let down many by scoring 68, 44, 39, 69 and 68
recently. There is no doubt that this great will come back to form but
the question is When? Would be a risk but is very very well priced at
$361,600
2. Shannon Grant (Kang)
Average in the last 3 weeks: 49.3
Average before that: 92.73
Overall Average: 80.73
This
great roo started off this season on fire with scores of 113, 148 and
133 included in his first 5 weeks but has tailed off recently with
scores of 79, 45 and 29. But he has undoubted support from his coach
who has said that he will never be dropped to the seconds. I believe a
can come back and is superbly priced at $341,000.
3. Brendan Fevola (Carl)
Average in the last 6 weeks: 52.5
Average before that: 100.6
Overall Average: 74.36
This
superstar who wants a new 3 year contract doesnt even deserve one by
the way he is going. Has not produced any sort of form since is game
against the dream team earlier in the year. Scores of 13, 74, 87, 62,
54 and 25 have been a far cry from his 100s at the start of the year.
There is no doubting his talent and matchwinning ability but we just
need him to produce it week in week out. His current price of $343,900
is very good
4. Marc Murphy (Carl)
Average in the last 3 weeks: 62.6
Average before that: 103.88
Overall Average: 92.64
This
is a personal one for me but lately i have been a bit disappointed with
this guys output. Scores of 53, 53 an 82 have been a far shy from the
start of the year. Was unlucky
last week when his score dropped
from 120 to 66 after a free kick against and an out on the full in the
dying minutes of the game. But expect this Star to be back well priced
at $411,800
5. Chad Cornes (Port)
Average in the last 3 weeks: 67.66
Average before that: 101.5
Overall Average: 95.56
Some
may consider him unlucky but by his own admission last week he said he
played the worst game of his life. Since he has come back from injury
he has found it hard to get back to his old self. It may be because of
the injury or because of people are realizing his importance to the
team. Is priced at $450,000 but has injury concerns at the moment so
Id hold of for a few more weeks until you get him into your team
