OK, I stuffed up last week and never got around to writing the post… and if i dont do a quick one tonight, I may end up in the same situation this week as I’ve got a busy week this week again. So Im not gonna write much this week, but I will give updates of our fantasy league over the break.
One thing I want to mention though, is the situation at the Tigers regarding the sacking of Ubaka. Did everyone hear about that? Full on! I read an article in the local paper over here in Perth about it, but if you want to read more about it, head over to Andthefoul.net where they have covered it and also the aftereffects here and here. Basically, the Tigers owner stormed into the dressing room after their last game and fired Ubaka on the spot while Gleeson was at a press conference and had no idea about.
And just before we head over the break, I also want to remind everyone that the lockout for NBL Dreamteam is tomorrow (Thursday) at 5:30 AEDT

Gee, I gotta try and allow myself more time for this league.
I rushed through my trades this week it seems.
Firstly, I haven’t done any trades for a month, as the NBA and real life stuff has been keeping me busy.. And now I’ve decided to do two trades – mainly cause i had an injured Aaron Bruce and I worked out I can almost do 2 trades each and every week for the rest of the season.
I checked this weeks schedule to see if any teams had a double GW, but I must have looked at Round 1! :redface: :embarrassment:
I saw that NZ had a double and brought in two Breakers!
OUT Bruce ($95,200) IN Abercrombie ($127,800)
OUT Rush ($124,900) IN Henry ($41,400)
And what’s worse, is one of the players – Rush – I traded out, does actually have 2 games this week!
I made Abercrombie captain too. hehe

Last trade was a month ago, but that was actually my only trade in the last 7 rounds – since I did a double back in Round 8.
Which was also when I traded out Mills – who my team is named after.
So there is probably a significant correlation there.

I’ve done the NBLDT the last couple of years and I have found the easiest thing to do is make a word doc with a table of each club week-by-week. Takes no more than 10 minutes and you have it to refer to before each round for the year. Avoids the errors that can happen when you are rushing to trade players/bench players
