For those who take it way too seriously
Don't forget, with Thursdays game, we've got ourselves a late lockout in the non-lockout comps.
But being the pro-coach you are, you already knew that.
Anyways, color: #2e2e2e;]McDonough dropped after just one game. Awkward.

So, the free hit is over. This week, we need to get our teams in.
]Planning on jumping on those Howlett styled first rounders? Or sticking fat with your Guns? Would love to hear your thoughts.
So, any RMT discussion, go for it in here.
Also, tonight I'm planning on sitting down, activating my AFgold trial and seeing what it has to say about break evens. Remember, prices change this week. So if you want to get in with the fun of cracking it, then get on board.

Welcome back to the Best Buys for another year of SuperCoach action here on the infamous TooSerious.net.
The opening round may have dragged on, seriously dragged, but now we're off and running and into the action for another season.
For the first Best Buys of the year things may be a bit rough while we get back into the swing of things, but as always there are some real potential bargains to be found.
This is usually the stage where we point out that there is no Best Buy for the first week, as trades really should be kept to a minimum this early on, but hey, with 30 trades and some serious scores going on around the traps, there will certainly be many coaches out there with an itchy trigger finger already.
With the scores all over the place after the first round we'll only be looking at the players to have scored 100+ so far, as well as some of the rookie-priced options that have stood out and look likely to get some more games.
DEFENSE
ROOKIES
Tom Langdon (COL) D/M 117.3k 111
Langdon will likely be the top trade-in target this week, after amassing 111 points in a losing team and playing the Dockers no less. As a D/M and basement priced at under 120 grand, it's easy to see why he is around 85,000 sides already.
]JeremyLaidler (SYD) DEF 161.8k 95
Laidler has continued the trend of Sydney recycling fringe-players into quality SC additions, scoring 95 in the shock loss to GWS and solidifying his place in the team. With Johnson having some injury concerns Laidler is in the box-seat for more games with the Swans, something his 77,000 coaches will be banking on.
]WillLangford (HAW) DEF 123.9k 77
Langford looked good against the Lions, scoring 77 for his 60,000 odd coaches and freeing up Shiels to play a more attacking role. Whether this trend will continue into the bulk of the season remains to be seen however, but for a first year rookie you can't go far wrong.

I hope all of your premiums went large and all of your cash cows are juicy.
Also- if I ever start the season with key forwards, can someone please slap me? Cheers.

We all should be locked and loaded now for another season of the TooSerious Trading Games
Currently, there are 32 teams in the Trading Games group. After round 1 is complete, we'll have to ensure everyone has started with the same squad of 30 as each other, and anyone found to have started with an alternative lineup will be deemed ineligible.
FYI, you can view the last two TSTG threads [span style='text-decoration: underline; font-size: 18px;]HERE and [span style='text-decoration: underline; font-size: 18px;]HERE.
Since the AFL teams were announced yesterday, Warsaken has posted the final squad in the forum thread.
*** Here is the final squad:
DEF:Mitchell,HShaw,Hurn,Swallow,Guthrie,McDonald,Laidler,Georgiou.
MID:Ablett,Rockliff,Liberatore,Beams,Thomas,Tyson,Michie,Polec,Ellis,Dunstan.
RUC:Lobbe,Sandi,Derickx,Thurlow.
FWD
angerfield,Martin,Dixon,Caddy,Daniher,Rohan, JKH,Impey.
If you have the right team selected, you will have $22,000 remaining salary.
Remember, you can already make your own decisions about who to start on the bench and who is your captain etc.
At the completion of round 1, after the game opens back up for round 2, you can make whatever trades and changes you wish.
*** If you have set up the team, but not joined the group yet, here's what to do:

Sorry guys, been sick as a dog this week, surrounded by little who have also been afflicted by said dog-like status.
So much so, I might need to tip the Dogs this week.
No Crouch. Ouch. Could work for you though if you've got a certain Langdon locked in as E in your midfield.
Lincoln is in though. That's nice.
McIntosh in, Simpson out provides a very interesting prospect. Super cheap, premium potential...You were all on him 4 months ago. (I know I was!)

The season is done and dusted. Please join over us over the break where we review the results from the grand finals for each league.
First of all I would like to thank Stowie, Pearcey and Headmandude for their tireless efforts throughout the year for providing the reviews for each league. It is much appreciated.
Also a big thanks to Ant for his help with setting up the leagues and inviting the discussion on the scoring format and rules.
Lastly I would like to thank everyone who has placed comments in the threads during the season. I think we have the 2nd best community in Too Serious whereby we have a lot of discussion about the games and general NBA chat. We will be back bigger and better next year!
Here is a summary as to who has been promoted and relegated. Congratulations to everyone who has been promoted.

Westside Hardcore 1837 defeated King of Karlos 1590
Westside timed their run to perfection and were able to claim the championship with a comfortable win over King of Karlos. Going into this match I was expecting Karlos to get the win as he has had the most consistent team right throughout the season but full credit must go to Westside. Games played were 48-47 in favour of Westside. Lowry was huge for Westside this round with (249/4), next best were CP3 (233/4) and Batum (213/4)....

Alright guys, leagues!
Gunna need a little help with the AFL Fantasy leagues however. Apparently there is a limit creating just 5 leagues
So if anyone wants to help out, drop the league codes in the comments and we'll get them into the post!
We'll kick off our Platinum/Diamond leagues again this year, for the best o' the best, so if you're interested, drop your rank from the last few years in the comments, and we'll get you into a strong league.
Otherwise, join the team of your colours and represent!
