G'day TSer's, we're back with another attempt to get some input from the wider TS community for bet suggestions to include in the combined club footy multi bets in round 15.
As with previous weeks, we are looking for suggestions of single bets to include in the final multi bets, and/or complete multi suggestions.
You're suggested bets can be from any of the markets regularly provided on footy, however as our Club's account is with Luxbet, we are limited to the markets they provide only (which is a fairly decent range anyway).
Just like previous weeks, it would be easier for everyone if each individual bet suggestion is made in a separate comment (makes it much easier for others to vote on using the thumbs). If you are suggesting a complete multi bet then put all legs in the same comment, and it would be good if you can also add the total value of the multi.
The whole idea of putting it out there for the entire TS community to be able to contribute suggestions is so we can capitalize on the combined wealth of footy knowledge/experience within this great community. Plus the more we make in profit, the better the donation we can give Walesy/TS when we come up to our first anniversary in late September!!!
So jump on in folks, throw up your suggestions for this round, and don't forget to vote with the thumbs - the more votes the better!!!
Bear
P.S. - just a reminder that we do still have a couple of vacancies in the club, if you want to be a part of the fun and excitement just let us know in here, or send me a PM, and I will PM some more details and also arrange a formal invitation to join us :)

With Joe Daniher failing to make the trip West he is still on the bubble and a decent option this week, but doesn't get another crack at the Best Buy spot.

Barlow has been in excellent form but has a broken jaw and may still miss, while Cotch is offering great value and is likely the cheapest we'll see him. Both teams are set for finals action this year, and are both facing reasonable runs home, making either one (if they both play) a solid choice for the remainder of the year.

DEFENSE
ROOKIES

Mitchell Clisby (MEL) DEF 96.2k 66 +61k
Clisby proved a decent choice for those that took the risk and jumped on a week early, managing a decent 60 to bring himself on the bubble. Looking at a 60 grand price rise this week, he seems quite likely to get a good amount of games for the remainder of the season and could be a good downgrade for Terlich.

MID-PRICERS

Trent MCKENZIE (GCS) DEF 477.5k 97
The Cannon has put in a good season so far, managing a solid average of 97 although he did...
Gariwerd 1221 drew with Lovely Banks 1221
An unprecedented and thrilling draw was the end result of a high-quality match-up between Gariwerd and Lovely Banks - the game going right down to the wire and the final seconds.
Lovely Banks had built a handy lead going into the final stages of the match, thanks to the continued good form of Craig Bird (138), Jake Carlisle (127) and Geelong duo Duncan (111) and Corey (110). But Gariwerd's final duo of Deledio and new recruit Dal Santo sparked a comeback - and Lovely Banks was forced to hold on grimly through the agency of an injured Dylan Roberton.
Ultimately, scores ended up locked together on 1221 - the first draw in ORFFA history.
Bird, Carlisle, Duncan and Corey top scored for the Lilacs, while Kurt Tippett's return to the seniors was impressive (130) for Gariwerd. Bundy Christensen (125), Dal Santo (123) and Smith (106) rounded out the Cockies' best players.

Wagga Wagga 1281 d Mt Beauty 1077
Youngsters Dion Prestia (151) and Ryan Bastinac (137) spearheaded a solid Wombats' effort in its 204-point win over Mt Beauty.
Six Wombats cracked the ton (including Thompson, Cox and the improving Josh Jenkins), though one of them - Lindsay Thomas - may be under scrutiny by the ORFFA tribunal after some questionable head movements during the game.
For Mt Beauty, too much was left to too few, with only Leuenberger and Cotchin notching three figures. Wingard continued his fine form, while Hartlett scored 95.

Waikikamoocow 1219 d Gundagai 784
Despite a busy draft period, Gundagai was unable to match it with the cow-kickers, falling to a heavy defeat.
Waikikamoocow enjoyed a solid effort across the board, with only two players reaching 100 (Taylor (131) and Jacobs (103). However another six players scored 80 or more to help boost the total.
For Gundagai, a new look midfield fired - recruits Van Berlo and Mullett playing well. But fit forwards, backs and rucks remain a...
Welcome everyone to the TS Donor Team, round 14 edition. In this weeks' episode of the Donor Team Saga you'll find out that we scored 2173 points, were ranked 20,258 for the round, climbed a few spots to 25,986 in the overall standings, and we won 4 of our five leagues.

As I said, we scored 2173 points in round 14. This is slightly above par for us, but if you take out the three bye weeks its pretty-much bang on par for what we've been scoring this season. We now have 28,895 points for season 2013, which places us at 25,986 in the overall, up 3,034 places on last week.

From a leagues perspective we won two of our three TS leagues, to now see us ranked 10th, 3rd, and 4th, while we won both of our public leagues, placing us 2nd in both leagues.

To completely ruin the seamlessness through which I normally write these blogs, I'll now bounce back to our team overview. So, here's our player breakdown for the week:

Backmen:
Heppell 104
Ibbotson 103
Lester 91
Goddard 88
Hanley 86
Webster 44
Midfielders:
Griffen 148 Captain 296
Dangerfield 141
Ablett 115
Pendlebury 112
Cptchin 107
T. Mitchell 99
J.P. Kennedy 88
J. Selwood 54
Ruckmen:
Nicheolls 84
Naitanui 73
Forwards:
Cox 107
Franklin 100
Westhoff 94
J.J. Kennedy 87
Rockliff 57
Zorko 43
Bench:
Dixon
Thurlow
Vlastuin
Martin 51
Rowe
Currie
Johnson
Staker 77

A quick look at our backline allows you to see that we had 6 scoring players and no-one on the bench, so no missed points back there. We had two ton-toppers, a few who got close (-ish), and a rookie who did all we could ask of him. Nothing special but nothing overly disappointing either.

In the midfield we again gave the captaincy to new-recruit Griffen, who didn't let us down. The bloke has played two games for us, has captained the side in both, and has given us nearly 600 points of quality service! Despite what we may say about some other members of our...
Another week has come and gone- as we all move another week closer to our finals.

I'm hoping you're all in contention still! :D

Now, before we review a few games, I just thought I'd touch on our Footy Show comp. I'll be drawing out the winner on Monday, and they'll get themselves a ticket (or two if they have a special someone they would like to drag along)- meaning we'll have a few more comps over the next few weeks to give them all out!

Oh- and if you missed it, the code word was Ballantyne. :D

West Coast vs Essendon

Result: Essendon by 7

Football started this weekend on a Thursday with Essendon taking the long trip out to Patterson stadium to play against the West Coast

Eagles.

An absolute humdinger of a game, Essendon found themselves down by 5 goals in the 3rd term, before, as they have so many times this

season, drawing back and just falling over the line.

Jobe Watson top scored for the Bombers, with 29 touches and 2 goals for a 127SC, and might I add, 29 booooos along the way after the

week his had. He shared the lead with Jake CARLISLE who made his 127SC after once again switch hitting with Hurley, and kicking 2

goals.

Dyson HEPPELL started slowly, but was the only other Don to crack the ton with 104SC off 21 touches and a goal.

Over on West Coasts side, Sam Butler top scored with 22 disposals at 86% for a 129SC, while Mark LeCras, Dean Cox

Please Read (boring but necessary)
In the first 3 weeks (rds14-16) scores will be calculated by 4 helpers and checked by myself before being posted by Wednesday. For the Round of 16 (rd17) onwards I will be calculating the scores myself and will try to post results by Tuesday night. If the team links are functioning correctly then you should be able to check your opponents score once lockout is concluded, but you should check the posted result is correct.

Rule 1 - For the duration of the competition each coach will be required to check that their weekly result is correct. If an incorrect result is posted (and it changes the result) a coach has until 8pm Thursday to postin the relevant weeks results blogwhat they believe the correct score and result is, if they don't the 'incorrect 'result stands.

Rule 2 (Draws) - if two teams playing each other finish with the same score the tie breaker will be:-
-i - donor status (ie donors defeat non donors, two donors or two non donors remain tied)
- this will depend on Walesy agreeing to tell meyour donor status, if he doesn't this will not apply
-ii - the first coach to have entered the Masters Series Competition (as per the original blog) will win
