TooSerious

For those who take it way too seriously

For those that know nothing about it ... Everyone starts with the same squad at the beginning of the year. The trades made during the year/bench selections/Captains selection will separate the winner from the pack. You will have to create a second account to play, unless you want the squad to be your only team.
Very interested to see if anyone else is interested in having their mum/dad/brother/sister/wife/etc go around again this year. Also if you are interested in helping keep score/track trades(TTH?!?), please say so.
:edit:I have created a trading game group (details below)

Two ways to access the calculators, either from theStatsor from each individual players page.

Usage should be simple, type in your predicted scores and hit the go button! Alternatively, you can get the calculator to use the players Average, Average over 3 rounds, Average against the team they'll be up against, or Average at the ground they'll be playing at.

As always, check it out, and report any bugs please!
As die-hard Supercoach Players we have always sat back and been little disappointed that they haven't implemented an Eliminator style game like Dream Team have for years. Most other fantasy sports around world have a game within the game.
There is nothing better than seeing your side, which might be out of overall or finals contention make a late season run in knockout competition. It gives you something to play for.
Well here at Too Serious we are proud to announce the official launch of the Too Serious Supercoach Champions League.
What is the Champions League I hear you ask? Well basically in that other football&amp;rdquo;, otherwise known as soccer here in Australia the Champions League is one of the biggest club tournaments going around. What makes this so good? Well basically even the smaller clubs get to play a few games and aren't knocked out in first week if they come up against one the big rich clubs.
What we have here a competition based on this. It would include a Group Stage&amp;rdquo; and then go onto Knockout Stage&amp;rdquo; later in the year, after each side has played each other twice (or more if there is no real interest) in the group stage. The top 2 or 4 of each group would go through to final 16/32 (all depending on numbers)
Based on my calculations, and bear in mind that maths wasn't my strongest subject at school if we could get 64 players it would run smoothly.
8 groups of 8 teams, play each other twice = 14 games
Top 4 go through.

5 knockout rounds = 22 rounds
In that we don't play at all during 3 bye weeks.
That leaves 1 round free, which is good as thinking due to all players that get rested in last round of season we could have final in Round 22.
Obviously we don't have any idea how many people would be interested, so at moment we are going to say it will be 64 team competitions.

HOW TO ENTER
1. Head over to the My Teams&amp;rdquo; section of Too Serious.
2....
Since 2009 leading AFL journalist Mike Sheahan has interviewed some of Australian football's biggest names on his Fox Sports program Open Mike. With his compassionate and discerning interview style, Sheahan manages to open up even the most reticent of guests, offering fascinating insights into the inner workings of some of AFL's most famous names.

Here, his most indepth and illuminating discussions have been transcribed for ardent footy fans to peruse at their leisure. Featuring some of Australia's most talented and influential football personalities, including Kevin Sheedy, Matthew Richardson, Jim Stynes and Jason Dunstall, Malcolm Blight, Jason Akermanis and many more. Relive your favourite interviews and read revealing accounts of what fuels football's greatest in their never-ending search for glory.

<h2>HOW TO ENTER AND WIN A COPY OF OPEN MIKE
It's an easy process to enter, simply follow me on the Twitter @TSWalesy, and tweet to me who you believe will be the top DT scorer in the Brisbane/Carlton NAB Grand Final along with your predicted score and the hashtag #TSOpenMike

Obviously, you need to pick the right player, then closest to the pin wins. If nobody picks the right player, we'll go down the list til we hit whoever picked the highest scorer. Draws will be determined by a random online game of skill, to be determined at a later date.

Entries will be open until kickoff.
Feel like achatduring tonights game? I'll be onhand to talk tonights game, and any fantasy questions you might have.
Historically, week three of the NAB is when stars are rested and rookies given their final crack before settling down on a line-up for the final pre-season game.

This can turn round three of the NAB into a bit of a noob trap for the uninitiated as rookies play more than expected, while the mid-tier players are given roles that will go to their more highly credentialed team mates come round 1.

So, we'll remember that as we paw over the round 3 data and give a little context on some scores.

<strong style='font-size: 14px;]Rookies, Dollars per point[/b]

I've refined the tables this week, displaying only the players who have played in both Round 2 and 3, to weed out the lightning round, and also the 1 game wonders.

With some massive increases in prizes, there has beenunprecedentedinterest in the Sportal, Sportsbet and Centrebet fantasy competitions. Not ones to rest on ourlaurels, we got ya covered.

Well, technically, we got you donors covered. Yo yo, love you guys!

That's right, our first piece of donor-only functionality on the new system

Stats aren't historical sadly, so the tickerwill take a few weeks to catch up, as will a lot of the calculated statistics (average against team), but they will come.

The good news though, is that the whole thing flows through into My Teams, meaning you can track all of your teams in the one handy dandy TS.

No more keeping a list on hand with your various fantasy squads, and your wives, and be honest, your sister/brothers various details. You can keep it all in theone handyplace. (And while we're talking donor features, try the link to your actual team on the MyTeams page.)

Anyways, this one brings me great joy to release and should be a massive boon to every fantasy coach out there.
