<p style='text-align: center;]By TigersTooTough
Gary Ablett. Dane Swan. Scott Pendlebury. Jobe Watson. Trent Cotchin. Chances are that you, along with 80% of other SC'ers, have selected at least a couple of these players. With their scoring history, they are hard to ignore. If everyone chooses the same 3 or 4 staples midfielders though, teams are going to be very similar meaning it becomes more difficult to win your league or the overall (depending on what you are targeting). As all TS coaches know, risks must be taken and PODs must be selected if you want to reach your SC goal.
Below are the Overlooked Premiums. Players that can average high scores throughout the season, but for different reasons, are ignored. It could be age, opportunity, form or people just might not rate them. Their quality however, cannot be questioned and if you want to think outside the box” and are ready to be different from others, these are players that should be considered.
Matt Priddis (WCE) $588 300: Priddis has been ultra-consistent over the past 4 seasons averaging around 26 disposals a game and around 109 SC points per game. There's nothing flashy about the way he plays and his kicking efficiency makes some wonder why and how he scores well in SuperCoach but he is certainly a unique pick. He is a clearance king averaging over 6 clearances a match since 2010 and he applies immense pressure anytime he doesn't have the ball. As we all know, he handballs far more than he kicks which, while worth less in SuperCoach, helps lift his disposal efficiency to a respectable rate. If only he kicked more goals, he could average 120+ and lift into the elite category; if he isn't there already.
Andrew Swallow (NM) $585 100: I chose this guy at the start of last year as a POD and keeping him all year allowed me to reap in the rewards. He is extremely durable having played 89 matches in a row and...

Here is a snapshot of where we stand heading into the last week of the finals (courtesy of Anthak)
Jasmine v Mick, is guaranteed to finish 1st
HEAVER v anthak, if w, will finish 3rd; if L, could finish 3rd or 4th
Karlos v maggots, if w, should finish 2nd, but maybe 3rd or 4th; if L, could finish 2nd or 4th or 5th.
Ruddy v Dabombers, if W, could finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th; if L, could finish 2nd or 4th or 5th or 6th, or maybe even 7th, but highly unlikely.
Anthak v HEAVER, if w, should finish 4th or 5th or possibly 6th or 7th but unlikely; if L, could finish 5th, 6th or 7th.
Mick v Jasmine, if w, could finish 4th, 5th or 6th or maybe 7th but unlikely; if L, could finish 5th, 6th or 7th.
Fez v Steve, if w, could finish 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th; if L, could maybe finish 5th or 6th, but most likely 7th.
And down the other end...
Dabombers needs to outscore Steve by 735 points to avoid relegation!
And if that doesnt happen, and Steve wins and maggots loses, Steve will be guaranteed to stay up in PL.
Alternatively, if Maggots wins, he guarantees his place in the PL for next season.
Ruddy's Cavaliers 1623 (9-6) v King of Karlos (9-6) 1337
The Cavaliers came to fore this week by posting the highest score for the round and it now looks like Ruddy has booked his spot in the finals. The leading scorers for the Cavaliers were Durant (216/4), Monroe (200/4) and B Lopez (169/4). For Karlos, the best players were Curry (164/4), Al Jefferson (195/4), Clark (133/4). Karlos is pretty much assured of a finals spot as well.
Run TMC (6-8-1) 1457 v Adelaide Maggotz (5-9-1) 1220
RuN TMC are finally back in the winners list after a few quiet weeks. Run TMC played 5 more games than the Maggotz this round and were best served by George (216/4), Bledsoe (190/4) and Westbrook (149/3). For the Maggotz, the leading scorers were Harden (280/4), Faried (165/4) and Jennings (124/3).

<p style='font: inherit;]Looks like theSportsbet compis open for bidness in 2013.
<p style='font: inherit;]Prizes look to be a whole swag of freebets, but hey, free ones are better than paid ones right?
<p style='font: inherit;]Anyways, taking a closer look, they've gone with the 6-8-2-6 structure of the others, in fact, the 30 trades and rolling lockout looks a lot like Supercoach.
<p style='font: inherit;]Anyways, I've set up a couple of leagues if you're interested. On a first in best dressed basis, so get in and score a finely tailored suit, rather than the heshen sack you'd otherwise be stuck in!

G'day TSer's,
Many of you out in the TS community would have noticed the article on the main page, and a few forum
threads, last year about the formation of a Punters Club here amongst the TS faithful so I thought it would
be interesting to put together some articles to regularly keep the community, especially those regulars
here who have been following along closely, informed on how the W2SP Club is going.
[span style='font: inherit;]
For those here who don't
know the full story, the idea to set up a Punters Club amongst the TS
faithful was initially broached through discussions amongst a few of
us avid punters who had been regularly sharing racing tips in one of
the forum threads.
These initial discussions
then lead to me to researching potential avenues to run such a club
online (an essential tool considering members of the club would be spread
around the country). As a result of this research I found one Australian
site ([span style='font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;]puntclub.com), which provided a one-stop
solution to set-up and run a punters club, complete with a direct affiliation
with one of Australia's largest online corporate bookmakers ([span style='font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;]Luxbet).
With a one-stop”
web-site found to host the club, it was time to get things up and running.
To get the ball rolling, I prepared an article for the front page here
at TS to find out who was interested in being involved.
This article outlined
a few conditions of membership, along with a link to the [span style='font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;]Punt Club website so
interested parties could check it out. From here, anyone wanting to

Man Utd v Everton 2-0
Before the game RVP hadn't gone more than two games without scoring returns, that hasn't changed. Despite this statistic, FPL'ers were selling him in their droves to the extent that RVP suffered a price drop.
Utd were also aided by Jones' fine man-marking job on Everton's main attacking threat Fellaini so despite plenty of possession The Toffees couldn't capitalise. Anichebe again started but was replaced after picking up a calf injury. Heitinga got a last-minute reprieve - Distin was injured in the warm-up - and the collective groan of Everton supporters was an excellent early-morning alarm-call for me.
Meanwhile, the work of Everton's full backs was the footballing equivilant of Beauty and The Beast. Baines gliding seamlessly down the flanks ghosting past opponents while the cumbersome and lead-footed Neville swung wild boots at his crosses that continued to land in Row Z.
Utd's other goal came from Giggs as Rafael snared an assist to go with his CS.
Norwich v Fulham
Not much to say here apart from Norwich's budget defence continues to rack-up CS's and Fulham remain unable to score away from home. First clean sheet in 12 for Fulham while Norwich have scored one goal in six. Moving on….
Spurs v Newcastle 2-1
Bale was again the difference with another brace. He's now scored all Tottenhams goals in the last three games (4). Holtby started as did Dempsey, while Adebayor wasn't quite ready after the ACON & Defoe still injured. AVB continues to shake up his back four with Walker the only nailed-on option although Dawson made his 7th start in a row. Kaboul will be back shortly to shake things up further.
Sissoko continues to catch the eye playing in the hole” it remains to be seen whether that will continue when Ben Arfa will soon return to the first team. Marveaux came on in 58mins for the injured goalscorer Gauffron. Newcastle now have a very tempting fixture list.
