So the 2013 AFL fixture is out!
<a href="http://www.afl.com.au/fixture/tabid/10586/default.aspx" target="_blank">Check out the full fixture here[/url]
For a quick look at those all important bye rounds though:
R11: Lions, Freo, Hawks, Port, Tigers, Bulldogs.
R12: Cats, Melbourne, North, Saints, Swans, West Coast.
R13: Crows, Carlton, Collingwood, Essendons, Gold Coast, GWS
My first quick thoughts on those byes is that round 13 could get nasty, with a lot of good Midfield options out.
But Im thinking its those ruck options in round 12 that will hurt the most. McIntosh, Goldy and NitNat should all be high on the list, which could make Roughy and Ryder (R/F) worth their weight in gold!
Ill try to get a bit more study done throughout the day, but in the meantime, what are your thoughts?

Howdy all, It was a strange old week of action that wouldve left many tearing their hair out( thankfully not me though). All games are belatedly covered over the break....<!--more-->
Stoke v Sunderland
There’s not much can be read into this game as it had 0-0 written all over it even before kick off. Sessegnon was dropped to the bench until the 61st min when he replaced Larsson while Bardsley came on for the last 10mins after injury.
Stoke had Wilson stretchered off with a broken ankle. Huth couldve conceded a penalty he also may have scored. It was a poor game lacking incident. Move on.
Chelsea v Man Utd 2-3
Man Utd won their 1st game at The Bridge for ten years with more than a little help from the officials. Most notably an unjust 2nd yellow for Torres for diving as well as Chicharito’s offside winner.
RVP was again on fire with a goal and an assist, Chicarito came off the bench and followed up his midweek brace with a goal which surely puts pressure on Welbeck. David Luiz scored an unfortunate own goal. Valencia and Rafael with the other assists. Young started the match.
Ramires started with Lampard out injured and he scored while man of the moment Mata again scored. Oscar and Hazard provided the assists. Ivanovic also saw red and along with Torres will miss the midweek cup match. None of Hazard, Oscar or Mata finished the match but that was for tactical reasons after the red cards.
Man City v Swansea 1-0
Graham and Dyer both started the game on the bench as Michu again took his place as the lone striker. He had a couple of opportunities but was thwarted by Hart.
Man City were lacklustre and had Tevez to thank for the win. Nastasic started as out of favour Lescott stayed on the bench until the 90th min. Richards was taken off with a serious looking knee injury and Kolarov was also injured.
Vorm, who was also taken off injured, didn’t have a save to make until the 38th minute. Tremmel (4.0m) replaced him.

THE KEEPER LEAGUE (REVIEW BY bgt2110)
Jimbo’s Juggernaut (104) def Brady’s Bunch (85)
After a shaky start it was Jimbo who came away with a much needed win against the Bunch who would be ruing a lost opportunity to catch up with the leaders. I thought Romo(19) was going to have a stinker after a couple of early interceptions, one a pick 6 but he came back strongly to be the equal high scorer for Jimbo along with kicker Tynes(19) who is now the number 1 fantasy kicker. McCoy(18) and Luck(15) provided much needed scoring power after Charles (0) and Cruz(2) had very quiet days after some huge performances previously. The Bunch were well served by Alex Smith(21) and Vick Ballard(12) who has been a handy waiver pick up whilst Nelson(0) was a big late out with a niggling hamstring complaint.
Both teams now sit at 3-5.
Team Simonoz (89) def Canuck Warriors (66)
Simonoz bounced back this week to beat the highly fancied Canuck outfit who would feel this loss hard after surrendering their one game lead over everyone else. It makes the fight for top position in the league all the more interesting now that 3 teams are all sitting at 6-2. Simonoz welcomed back Vick(15) who is a vital contributor for Simonoz even though he is getting heat for the Eagles with some underwhelming performances, if he can really get his act together he is capable of putting up regular 30 ftps games. Brandon Lloyd(14) and McFadden(13) were invaluable whilst Ponder(13) is capable of much more. It was a rare down day for Canuck in front of a packed home stadium crowd but it failed to bring out the best in everyone except...

The drafts have now been completed for all 3 leagues and a list of all the draft selections for each league is found in the comments below.
It is now important for everyone to update their trading block. This allows other teams in your league to see what players are available for trade and what players are untouchable. Trading is one of the key parts of the game and can become very addictive!
All trades take 48 hours to go through and league members have the opportunity to veto the trade if they wish to do so.
Let us know in the comments as to how you think you went in the draft?
Also, you may want to start the trash talking in the comments as well.
Please read over the break

There have been a lot of changes thus far, with the new extended trading week and free agency periods coming to a close.
Below this, youll find a full, alphabetical account of what every club has gained this period, and lost.
Cause its nice to take stock of all this *before* those delicious draft picks are taken.
So, who do we think won trade week? Plenty of potential movers from that lot for next year!

If youre reading this, you probably had to get through the GIANT ADVERT that took hold of your browser on the way here.
First of all, let me assure you that its very unlikely to exist in the season proper cause its pretty invasive- but also, it should only hit you one a day.
Basically, were running this to see what people think. Its possible that this kind of advert could be added to pages in the future that contain premium content, for people that havent donated.
Still thinking on it really, so if you want input, get in here!

Sunderland v Newcastle 1-1
I expected Sunderland to come flying out the blocks this year, but they’ve been a disappointment. MON’s team remain hard to beat but attacking wise they’ve been very poor. Indeed their goal came courtesy of Ba’s OG (he’s now Sunderland’s 2nd top goalscorer). Sessegnon remains a shadow of last year’s version. McLean continues to tell the world how good he is without backing it up with performances. Johnson is still finding his feet. Fletcher gets pass marks for an excellent scoring record despite feeding off scraps all season.
Cabaye got Newcastle’s opener before Tiote got himself sent-off. Coloccini played an absolute blinder until the 80th minute when cramp and then Steven Taylor took over.
Ameobi started ahead of the labouring Cisse but was sacrificed after Tiotes red card. Ben Arfa lasted till 83mins when Obertan came on for him. Rose started for Sunderland after a torrid week while Bardsley nears fitness, making the bench. Saha came on for Sessegnon after 64mins.
QPR v Everton 1-1
Just like the previous game there was a red card and an OG. Julio Cesar the unfortunate scorer and Piennar also rather unfortunate to receive a soft red card.
QPR were decent for a lot of the game with Taarabt and Hoilett (the goalscorer) the pick of the bunch. Cisse was benched until replacing Zamora on 71mins, Ferdinand came on for the cramping Nelsen on 83mins while Mackie and SWP spent the day bench warming. Moyes line-up was quite attacking with Anichebe, Mirallas and Jelavic all starting. Naismith came on for Anichebe after 52mins while Heitinga came on to shut up shop, replacing Jelavic (who might have been awarded a penalty) on 83mins.
Everton have a Merseyside derby to look forward to next week while bottom of the table QPR have an ominous-looking trip to a smarting Arsenal.
