So, after three weeks of competition, it looks like the lead of Here for Beer couldnt be overcome as he stormed to victory with a massive score of 7215 over 3 weeks- thats an average of 2405 per week which is pretty huge! Keep that up and youll be storming the top 100 in no time!
This round, the highest scorer was straightuptheguts2, who scored a very nice 2404- but it just wasnt enough to catch HfB, who won by almost 200 points.
So, the spoils are now all yours- a chauffeur driven ride, thanks to the good folk at <a href="http://www.combinedcars.com/">Combined Chauffeured Cars, and a meal to the value of $250 for a maximum of 10 at <a href="http://dandelion.ws/">The Dandelion Restaurant in Elwood. I reckon it should be a good night out, so drop me an email and Ill forward your details on. And drop in once youve enjoyed it, let us know how it went!
And for the rest of you, give a big thanks to <a href="http://www.combinedcars.com/">CCC and <a href="http://dandelion.ws/">The Dandelion Restaurant - and if you are looking for a meal out and are in the Elwood area, drop in and have a bite!
Over the page is the final score.

Weve officially hit the halfway mark and one this is for certain- Supercoach can be a cruel mistress. When she is good, the highs are magnificent, but boy- when she turns- and those bullets come flying, it can easily turn into a tragedy.
This week, the number of bullets were so high that surely you were hit with one- or two- or in some cases, five. So its with that idea that we dive into this weeks review.

St. Kilda vs Bulldogs
Result: St.Kilda by 24, 12.9.81 to 8.9.57
It looks like there are some dark days ahead for the Doggies as they fell in their "elimination" final. To be fair, they do have a fair number of stars out of form, or out injured- but dark the the less. The Saints on the other hand, are they back? I guess will see if they can continue this winning form next week. The top scorer for the game however, was the always previlent Matthew Boyd, who monstered out 39 touches with 20 of them contested for a mighty 164SC. Hot on his heels was Brendan Goddard, who collected 26 touches for a 143SC. Breakout ruckman, Ben McEvoy got the third highest score with a 121SC while Picken did quite nicely with a 117SC of his own. Rounding out the top5, with 23 touches was Dale Morris who scored a 109SC. As with all games, we see some who underperform, and the game was no exception with Gilbert putting in a woeful 30SC while Cross could only get 17 touches- 14 handballs, for a 54SC. Chris Howard broke his bubble with a fairly solid 67SC, while debutant Luke Dahlhaus did alright as a sub scoring a 33SC- looked pretty lively while doing it as well.
Heroes: Boyd, Goddard, McEvoy
Villians: Gilbert, Cross, Liberatore
Adelaide vs West Coast
Result: West Coast by 39, 15.16.106 10.7.67
The West Coast fans in the land have got to be getting thoughts of finals in their minds now- but remember, were still only halfway through the season! Plenty of time to go! That said, there was a strong wind blowing...

Hey, just realised <a href="http://tooserious.net/heat-v-mavs-dabomers-dan-the-inaugural-ts-fantasy-nba-champion-of-the-world#comments">our last thread has closed its comments, so thought I should get a new thread going ASAP.
Most people would know that dirk, Kidd et al of the Mavs clinched the NBA Championship today in game 6, downing the Dwayne Wade led Miami Heat. should prob mention they had a bloke named Lebron playing for them as well...
<!--more-->
After a super ECF series where Lebron nailed so many huge clutch plays, he continually went missing in the final q during the finals. Chris anstey joked on twitter that there is going to be a Lebron day in Dallas from now on where everyone gets to go home from work 12 min early.
I actually like Lebron and feel hes a tad hard-done by. - sure some of the criticism is warranted - making fun of dirk for coughing is kinda low - but Ive got no problems with him leaving the cavs to chase a chip; and you gotta respect his game - awesome player!
Besides all that though - What an amazing series! One of the closest ever! Only 2 finals series in the history of the NBA have had more games decided by less than 3 points. Both teams showed in the conference finals that they were terrific down the stretch, and for the most part the both continued that form on.
Its fantastic to see the Mavs win this - a great TEAM! theyve had a good core of these players together for a while and it showed - they worked so well together and had so many contributors.
Congratulations to the Dallas mavericks! And to Dirk Nowitzki for winning the finals MVP!
Also worthy of a mention::: The TS NBA Crew supercoach league has moved into the top 20 leagues! Well done! (and has anyone worked how Linda got in there?)
Sorry that this post is a bit disjointed... Bit rushed and working from my phone. But now we got a thread going...
So who watched the games? What did you all think of the series?

So, check out the live page during the <a href="http://tooserious.net/live_scores.php?page=gameday&id=10250409&process=live">Collingwood v Melbourne game today to see the first cut of the latest feature-
Live Supercoach scores.
Now, of course, these are completely unofficial and are really me just massaging the numbers to come up with an approximation, but they looked reasonably good when I ran them through today.
That said though- in a live game, they are completely untested, even worse- Ill be at the circus tomorrow- so if it goes horribly wrong, I appologise in advance- but I figure, hey- this is too exciting to hold back for a whole week!

Its been brought to my attention by StKildaThunda that Mahmoud Chatila (VivaLaRaza), a well respected poster on the BigFooty Saints board & on TrueSainters and he is planning on running from Melbourne to Sydney to raise money for the Australiasian Gasto-Intestinal trials group and also in memory of his late father who passed away after battling stomach cancer on top of a 5 year battle with Leukemia. Along with BigFooty & TrueSainters we hope we can help Mahmoud reach his goal and give him support in this great initiative. So please help out with whatever you can. Link to where you can donate is at bottom of this post and if you have any questions please ask away in the comments. If anyone has anything they would like to auction off or sell with all proceeds to be donated please let me know.

DirtyWhorks has been tweeting about playing keepings off. Â Its not too difficult to do, except when you have the marauding hordes chasing you, and a few of my mates who are 600 down saying his team is pretty darn average and they are looking to grab some points off him.
Now sure, I think that 600 down is too far down to be playing in the big league, but it just shows how much people are prepared to consider themselves "in the game" with the occasional havoc the bye and team selections can play.
First, heres Dirtys team:
D: Deledio, Adcock, Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Suckling, Lower (Batchelor, Puopolo, Hibberd)
M: Pendlebury, Mundy, Priddis, Dal Santo, Selwood, Hodge (Savage, Prestia, Smith)
R: Cox, Sandilands (Smith, Campbell)
F: Pavlich, Fyfe, Franklin, OKeefe, Goodes, Petrie, Krakouer (McKernan, Matera, Lynch)
Some quick analysis over the break, then I give it over to you lot!
<!--more-->
Firstly, Im not going to really go into the trading of DW, but Im sure many of you are already well aware given the league function here at TS. Â If not, Walesy can regale us in the comments.
The team, well its steady without being outstanding. Â The fact is though, heaps of points already racked up must mean wise captain choices, and shrewd trading for value.
Steady meaning: Heppell and Lower still in defence. Â No Shaw, Scotland or Fisher. Â Midfield doesnt have Ablett or Boyd. Â Theres no Petrie link, so Smith has to perform (still similar situation to lots of teams) in Sandilands absence. Â The forward division is strong, but will come under heat when Hawthorn and Sydney have the bye. Â It remains under Mick Malthouses whim to whether Krakouer is the sub, and the reinforcements, at least up forward and in the middle, arent what youd call super.
In the main, DW will need to upgrade his reserves, hoping a few more get good game time or at least maintain their performances.
How Id take DW on, remembering of course that POD is not James...

The final teams are in, and Heppell has survived the cut- sadly, the same cant be said about Hibberd.
Ah well, he was benched anyways
So, hows your team shaping up? Word is that Buddy will get up for the game, but hey- I plan on having an emergency set anyways!!
Drop us a comment, or join us in the live chat!

So, Buddy has been named as expected, but with Renouf, as the only tall emergency, hes probably a good chance to play- that said though, ensure that you have decent coverage as I reckon hes still a good chance to miss.
So, lets take a look at the big ins and outs-
INS: Liberatore, Chapman, Franklin, Savage, Kreuzer, Rockliff, Drummond, Jack, Barlow, Watson, Buckley
OUTS: Montagna, Siposs, Bewick, Swan, Thomas
Extended Bench: Carrazzo, Curnow, Tuovy, Rockiff, Drummond, Jack, Malceski, Hibberd, Browne, Heppell, Lower, Gawn, Evans, Buckley
Definitely a lot more ins than outs this week will come as welcome relief! Can I take this time to say welcome back to Kreuzer and Barlow!! Cant wait to see them get back into their strides.
Also, of note- check out the extended Bombers bench, with Hird saying earlier this week that hell be sticking with the 3 rucks, who do you reckon will miss out of: Nathan Lovett-Murray, Brent Stanton, Andrew Welsh, Tom Bellchambers, Dyson Heppell, Alex Browne, Michael Hibberd
Im gunna pencil in Welsh, Brown and Hibberd, but what do you guys think? Reckon Welsh will come back in?
Anyways, feel free to get into the chat to discuss it!

Swan has left the country. Has Ablett now done enough to resume his mantle of perma-captain? There seem to be a number of players in great form at the moment. Picking a captain is proving unbelievably difficult - as shown by the low scores by Judd and Selwood last week. Do we trust them again? Can we trust any St Kilda player??
Hopefully the numbers assist some of you. Unfortunately, the numbers don’t really point to any particular player …
