Well, Jo advised me last week that her 4 year old did quite well at her tips. I dont have one, but the neighbours have a 6 month old puppy, and thats about 4ish in dog years right? Here are the tips, as advised by the trusty dog
Friday May 7
Melbourne v Western Bulldogs at the MCG, 7.40pm Top Scorer: Adam Cooney, 140
Saturday May 8
Essendon v Port Adelaide at Etihad Stadium, 2.10pm
West Coast v Hawthorn at Subiaco Oval, 1.10pm
Collingwood v North Melbourne at the MCG, 7.10pm
Brisbane Lions v Fremantle at the Gabba, 7.10pm
Sunday May 9
Geelong Cats v Sydney Swans at Skilled Stadium, 1.10pm
Adelaide v Richmond at AAMI Stadium, 4.10pm
Monday May 10
St Kilda v Carlton at Etihad Stadium, 7.20pm
Obviously a dogs going to tip the Bulldogs. They dont like lightning, so the Power is out. Im not exactly sure why the Eagles are better than Hawks, seeing as I doubt this puppy has seen either, but no matter . Collingwood has a lot of trash around to eat (sorry all Collingwood supporters, dont glass me ) The Lions are basically big cats, so why would a dog tip them? But this dog has some footy knowledge, and while he doesnt like the cats, he has got to admire Max Rookes beard and Cam Mooneys hair, which he can only achieve with the help of Advanced Hair Studios. Adelaide has been tipped on the basis that the Tigers are another sort of cat. Dogs are colourblind,so he didnt even see the Blues and went straight for the Saints.
Well, I doubt he can go worse than Ive been going...And hes serious about beating the Scottish Terrier too. Go you good thing!

Welcome to TooSerious Best Buys
Round 7 and now it’s time to consider some of the Best Buys as everyone is looking to improve their teams over the next few weeks.
As discussed many times on fantasy footy forums one of the ways to build a good side is to initially select a sample of rookie players and upgrade your starting team once the rookies gain value.
More over the break<!--more-->
The usual way this is completed is by selling a rookie once they approach their maximum value, down to another rookie who can in turn go up in value.
The cash increase you gain from this rookie sell down, commonly referred to as a Cash Cow, allows you the money to increase one of your current starters into a better player.
From Round 7-12 is probably the main time for upgrading your team, because this is a time when rookies peak in their value, and can then be sold.
Facilitating the best Cash Cows requires a few points to be noted.
1) Try not to pay full price for a player at any time. There’s generally a discounted player available, so look for them first.
2) Ensure your downgrade reasons are clear. If you are looking for maximum cash and you don’t need bench coverage from a rookie, choose one of the sub $100,000 players. If you need bench coverage, you might need to think about getting a player who can play multiple positions in your team, or someone slightly more expensive but will give peace of mind.
3) Keep an eye on the players who have played their 2nd game. This is the last week you can downgrade a current maxed out rookie to them before their price rises. By trading into players in this week, you can save yourself $60,000 to be used on upgrading your team. The TooSerious site keeps track of these players on the Stats tab, under the Fresh Meat heading.
4) Try not to sell a champion at their lowest point. If they have had a few issues in recent weeks, then think if there...

Also, to remind you (in case you didnt get to the end of my last diatribe) that were also using this opportunity to support the Breast

Wed also like you to consider donating to the cause yourselves, either by <a href="http://tooserious.net/?page=donate">making a donation to us and letting us know that youd like us to pass it on on your behalf or by donating directly <a href="http://www.bcna.org.au./store/component/virtuemart/?page=shop.browse&category_id=1&vmcchk=1">here. Like I said to Walesy the other day, if our daughter or myself gets breast
cancer, the last thing were going to regret is giving too much...
Its a great cause peoples.

What is TooSerious and why should I use it?
The short answer is: We predict players salary movement so that you can make the best trades possible. We also have an assortment of other goodies used by the best SuperCoaches in the land.
The long answer can be found <a href="http://tooserious.net/?p=746">here
How can you see how a future score will impact a players future price?
Clicking the calculator next to a players name will take you to the calculator page. This page enables you to enter in a players scores for the rest of the season and see what effect that has on his salary.
Where do I find a player’s average against each opposition side?
Again, on a players calculator page, you can see what they average, in their last three outings, against a particular team. You can also see how they average at a particular ground.
Are you a nerd, Les?
The words uttered by the Ox when I got on SEN. Yep, this site is used by people from all walk of life, even the boys on SEN. The answer of course is Yes. But then again, most people here probably are as well.
What is a “real value†as opposed to any other value?
Real Value is a representation of a players value, taking missed games into account. ie 4 games scoring 100, then a missed game, will still average 100, however, his real value average will be 80. His real value is then derived from this average.

How can I tell what other position a player can be used for?
Holding your mouse over a players position will display his other position to you.

How do I upload my team(s) into TooSerious
Currently its a bit of a conveluded process. Firstly you must enter your SuperCoach or Dreamteam reference numbers into the accounts tab.
To get your SuperCoach reference number, make sure you are logged out of supercoach and then go to this page:...

Alright, now I get a lot of questions asked.
Many of them more frequent than others. Well, its gotten to the point where I need to put together an FAQ for the site.
But before I tell you all what I think you need to know, Im curious to find out what your questions are?
So drop one in the comments- And Ill more than likely get it into the FAQ.
(Really, Im just struggling to come up with questions. Ive got:
1. How do I upload my team(s).
2. What is a Breakeven.
3. What does a Real Value do?
4. How is it that youre so ruggedly good looking?
5. When are you going to fix [so and so]?
Surely there is more right?

Michael Barlow is on track to become the first player to win a Brownlow Medal in his debut season since Brad Hardie achieved the feat in 1985Â (Haydn Bunton is the only other player to accomplish this when he took home Charlie in his first year back in 1931.)
The similarities between Barlow and Hardie are quite remarkable. Both were 22 at debut. Hardie was drafted by Footscray from South Fremantle, whilst Barlow obviously went to Fremantle from Werribee (surely near Footscray???).
In any case, if its been done before, it can happen again. Barlows 3 votes on the weekend takes him 2 in the clear of Ablett, and 4 in the clear of Hodge and Pendlebury who are now sitting in equal 3rd on 7 votes.
The bookies are slowly coming around too, with odds in the last two weeks going from $126 to $81 to $34....do yourself a favour:Â GET ON HIM!
