TooSerious

For those who take it way too seriously

Man oh man, I nearly had a huge week this week, if it wasn't for the Fyfe shaped donut leaving me with a 2306.

No bad at all.

Loved Greenwood coming in for the again-missing Steele. And Danger coming out from his injury cloud to put up a 145 was just delightful.

How'd you all do?
Cousins out. Damnit Cousins!

Having attempted to push through a move to his native Adelaide at the end of last season, there were some who felt we might not see Bryce Gibbs performing at his very best this year. Well, it's fair to say that those doubters have been proven wrong after 13 rounds of the 2017 campaign. Following a very impressive start to the season, the Carlton man produced what may well end up being the best performance of his career as the Blues defeated the Suns.

The midfielder's showing won't have gone unnoticed, and teams around the AFL - especially in Adelaide - will all be well aware that the price for Gibbs could well have increased. For fantasy managers, the Blues have been a decent side to tap into for point-scorers despite their relative struggles throughout the first 13 rounds of the year. As well as Gibbs, Marc Murphy and Sam Docherty have also been prolific for fantasy owners this season but it was the Adelaide-born midfielder who stole the show against the Suns.
The byes are finally in the rear view mirror, and the stretch into the finals has properly begun.

Hopefully your team is in a position where you can hold onto your trades until the finals, or if you're still in the hunt for the overall, in the hunt for the overall.

Scorewise I did alright, I think, particularly with the Steele-induced-donut, but it was irrelevant for my cash league, cause the other guy was proper unprepared for it. 11 Byes on the field kinda unprepared.

Teeheehee.

Structure wise, I have 10 trades, $100k in the bank and still need to upgrade SPP. Not sure where the dollars for that is going to come from though. :D

How you guys shaping up?
Got another early game this week, feels like almost yesterday that lockout opened!

Make sure you get your VC's on Danger for tonight, and any trades needed done!

Teams over the break.
Man, for only a handful of games, it has sure been a long, lovely weekend!

Cruised through this week with a 1764, which while terrible, was 4 more points that my opponent.

Well, I think I won anyways, I'm pretty sure the currently listed screens have the end scores up. (And my calc skills are all lazy and whatnot!)

wooo! Happy news for so many double-digit scores, specially after he nailed the Zerrett captain pick. *Cough*thankyoudonut*cough*
Got another early start this week, and another series of byes.

I imagine that like me, you guys are swimming in players this week, looking at a shocker next week.

So don't be afraid to pull the trigger early on some of next weeks outs.

I'm looking at you in particular Otten/WHE/Sandi.

Teams over the break
Ok, round is coming to a close, and I still have no idea what kind of score I've gotten :D

Hopefully it's a winning one!

How'd you all go?
Got and early lockout this week and a whole ton of byes. Hope you're prepared!

Teams over the break
So, I flipped a coin on who to upgrade in the backline. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have been too upset with Marchbank's 70, but Otten's 121 was the thing of legends.

Combine that with Dangers efforts on Thursday and we had the building blocks for a decent score this week.

2231 in the end, not huge, but certainly looks above par.

Heading into the byes this week, so I hope you've all been getting well prepared! :D
