For those who take it way too seriously

I was tempted to throw up an image of Oliver's bonce since he's the hype train, but thought better of it.

Draft day is the 24th of November, starting at 6:00 AEDT (Though proceedings won't start for an hour, so it's more like 7:00 AEDT).

Ok, and while I've got you all here, there's a significant change to the site going in over the off season. There's a good chance that passwords will be reset and PM's will definitely be lost.

But, the changes should make for better conversations- and also allow the site to work with tapatalk, which will be nice. :D
Please read over the break for the results for week 3 of the NBA season.

I am now back home from the States. It was awesome watching some NBA games while was over there and the highlight was the double OT game between the Magic and Thunder. I jumped out of my seat when Westbrook banked the 3 in the last second of regulation from way outside the 3 pt line. All the Magic fans were telling me to sit down, hahaha. But I did the same thing when Oladipo hit the 3 in the last second of the first OT period. Watching Durant and Westbrook live was incredible. The other game I went to was the Clippers/Suns but that was a letdown after the game in Orlando. The Amway Centre is far better to watch a game than the Staples Centre. They get the crowd more involved during the breaks in the game.

Over the course of the next few weeks I will endeavor to post some pics from the games in the round reviews once I get them off my phone.

Onto the review for this round.

The highest score for the round was the Fab 5 in Division Two with 1793.

The lowest score for the round was San Diego Anchormen in Division Two with 863

The biggest margin for the round was 492 pts where Nettin Blatche defeated San Diego Anchormen.

The smallest margin for the round was in Division Two where Team Short defeated Jimmy G Buckets by 14 points.

The highest scoring loser for the round was Ant hak in the Premier League with 1689.

The lowest scoring winner for the round was Fully Fledged Spuds in Division Three with 1301.

This ain't no ORFF team, however it's story would not be out of place in a fantasy football league…
Have you ever heard of the Metro Farm Herefords?

They've got it all!

[span style='font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: 20.2222px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; background-color: #ffffff;]Before folding in the 1960s, the Metro Farm Herefords had one of the most distinct home ground advantages around - the wafting stench of the Werribee poo farm.

The Herefords hail from an old town named Cocoroc, a town mainly for workers of the farm, that formed in 1892 and had a post office and 3 primary schools by 1920. Its population peaked at about 477 in the 1940s, but later closed down in the early 1970s.

The Metro Farm Herefords was the local footy team in Cocoroc and played in the Western league, with moderate success, especially at their home games :)

The football team is being brought back for two days only, by local artist Shane McGrath, aspart of a larger project called 'Treatment' which several artists are taking part in.

For further information about Shane's work with the Herefords, have a read at this pozible site *here*.
And here is an excerpt:

His ambitious work in the name of art will seek to return the ground and its facilities to their former glory. Reviving the change rooms, reproducing the famous guernsey, and re-recording their football song, on November 14 and 21, 2015, his audience will be given the once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the halcyon days of the Herefords.

There are also Herefords souvenirs like stubby holders and footy cards available in exchange for donations. Shane is also looking for donations to support the project, and there isn't a lot of time left. Head on over to the pozible page and chuck some dollars in...
Steve has recently arrived back in the country and we've emailed and decided we'll continue on with the reviews this season in a similar fashion to last week's, with a bit of a comparison between the leagues and all of the results without a writeup for each game.

We are also aiming to get the thread up on Tuesday's each week, however it will be Steve doing it mostly.

This week,
<p style='color: #333333; margin-bottom: 10px; background-color: #fcfcfc;]The highest score for the matchup was Rad_E_Cool in [span style='color: #333333; background-color: #fcfcfc;]Division 2 with 1839
<p style='color: #333333; margin-bottom: 10px; background-color: #fcfcfc;]The lowest score was Karlos in Premier Division, with 1119.
<p style='color: #333333; margin-bottom: 10px; background-color: #fcfcfc;]The biggest margin was 427 pts, in Division 2, where Rad_E_Cool defeated maggots (2nd week in a row maggots has copped the biggest loss!)

The top 5 players of the week were:

Apologies for this being very belated.

I am not sure if Steve had organised anything in terms of writeups and it seems he may not have a lot of access to emails on his holidays...

I will just do a very brief round up of the week 1 results:

<p class='western' style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]Time constrained this week, so a very short review for you all to muse over.
<p class='western' style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]
<p class='western' style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]King of Karlos Defeated by Billy Bass (114 v 121)
<p class='western' style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]
<p class='western' style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]King of Karlos - Despite strong performances by Brees, Manning, Bell, KoK were not quite good enough to knock over Billy Bass. Williams did a nice job as Shady's replacement in Buffalo, and Tucker proved to be clutch in the Ravens win over Pittsburgh. Little input from the KoK wide receivers and tight end at the heart of this loss - Landry struggling gin a struggling team, Cooks still not living up to potential, and Olsen not Cams favourite target this week.
<p class='western' style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]
<p class='western' style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]Billy Bass - A brilliant team effort from Billy Bass. Rodgers, Palmer, Forsett, Woodhead, Hopkins, Catanzaro and the Packers D/ST all scored a minimum of 13 points! Green was a TD away from another big day in Cincy, whilst Hilton was well targeted by Hasselback in Indy's lucky win over the Jags. Only the Fins Cameron failed to muster much of a contribution, but when the rest of your team is scoring so well, who needs him eh??
<p class='western' style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]
<p class='western' style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]Waito's Warriors Defeat Jimbo's Juggernaut (72 v 67)
<p class='western' style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]
<p class='western' style='margin-bottom: 0cm;]Waito's Warriors - The Warriors notched an important win over their NFC rivals on the back of Jimbo not playing a D/ST essentially, but a win's a win, and the win brings the Warriors level with the Juggernaut after the first month. Winston was shaky but still topped double figures, whilst Bennett was massively targeted by Cutler in the Bears win over the Raiders. Hauschka was superb in...
There is now less than 30 days until the season starts. Teams have now assembled for training camp and the preseason games will commence towards the end of this week.

During the next week you should receive an email asking you to join your respective league. Please accept this invitation as soon as possible.

The draft for all leagues will be held on Sunday 25th of October at 10pm (AEDST).

This will give everyone an opportunity to assess the preseason games and take into account which players are injured at the time of the draft.

If you can't make the live draft, you can set up a pre draft list whereby the system will select the next available player on your list when it is your turn.

You can also participate in the mock drafts in the ESPN fantasy basketball site to get a feel as to how the draft works.

In regards to the draft, the following will apply:

There will be 60 seconds between each pick

Leading up to the draft, teams will be able to trade picks. I will set up the draft pick order in the ESPN site this weekend.

For those of you have not played ESPN fantasy basketball, feel free to ask any questions in the comments below and someone will be able to answer your question.

Nat Fyfe should have done enough to hold on to this year's Brownlow medal, after bolting out of the gates before -a form slump and some missed games towards the end of the season. Whilst not a foregone conclusion - the $2 most bookies have on him is about where it sits on my review of the numbers. In simple terms, he is a 50/50 proposition, with any of Hannebery, Priddis, Dangerfield, J.P. Kennedy and S. Mitchell all a chance to upset on the night....
