TooSerious
For those who take it way too seriously
So, who won a grand final?
Second question, next week still applies to the overall ranking right?
Second question, next week still applies to the overall ranking right?

In 2013 we held the inaugural TS Masters knockout SC comp with Tiger Of Old taking out the title.
In 2014 we held the TS Challenge in the first part of the season then had the Masters Series, TS Shield and TS Plate later on with SuperSquad2014, Ellis in Wonderland and Big River Trouts taking out the end of season competitions.

This week is Grand Final week in SuperCoach, for those that made it that far in leagues anyway, and unfortunately it's looking more and more likely to also be my last writing the Best Buys. Time pressures are continuing to mount and I don't feel that I'm doing this article justice at the moment and as such I think it's looking like time to move on and let someone else take over. Expressions of interest should be sent to walesy if you're thinking about contributing to the site next season (I'm specifically looking at you ORFFL/A folk, as well as people like TheTassieHawk, JPK, anthak, etc).
With all the time constraints, and it being grand final week and all, the Best Buys this week is very different to those previous, consisting of just 2 players per position. Each player has been picked due to their recent form, opponent this week and selection rate, and hopefully they provide you all with some decent options to consider when attempting to spring a surprise on your opponent.
DEFENSE
Corey Enright (GEE) DEF 482.4k 95 4.7%
Enright has been a solid defender this season in SC, playing 19 games to date with an average of 95. He's price under 500 grand, scored 107 last match to keep his 3 game average at 108, and is sitting in just 4.7% of sides. With Hodge out and needing a trade Enright is the best available replacement on recent form while still being a POD. The Cats play off against Collingwood on Friday night in a must-win game for Geelong, although the Pies will be looking to make amends for a poor showing against Richmond last week.
Michael Hurley (ESS) DEF 488.4k 94 2.7%
Hurley has been unreliable so far this season, but we only need him to stand up for one game. Averaging 94 for the season after his 113 last week he has now scored 110+ in 3 of his last 4 games, and is playing against a flying Richmond side on Saturday who should have the ball down Hurley's end much more often than not. A somewhat surprising...

The 2015 season is over early for five Collingwood players who will miss the next two weeks through injury.
Tyson Goldsack has been added to the long term injury list, after the club revealed he will have knee surgery this week. Goldsack has been suffering from knee tendinitis for the majority of the second half of the season and has not played in the Pies' senior side for the past month.
He is expected to be ready for the beginning of pre-season training.
With finals no longer an option, despite the race for spots still wide open, Bet at William Hill Australia, the Magpies have also decided to pull the pin on trying to get youngster Nathan Freeman back on the park, with a troublesome hamstring injury keeping him out of the last two games of the season.
Tim Broomhead (shoulder), Brenden Abbott (shoulder) and Jackson Ramsay (shin) will also miss the final two games.

Its been great to see so many people recommitting to play again this season (and a shame that some have said they are stepping away).
If y'all missed it, Steve posted an NBA thread a couple of weeks ago to welcome everyone back for the new season - our 6th year in a row running these fantasy NBA leagues at TS.
Here are the leagues as they're looking for this season:
Each division is ranked based on last season's final standings, and then teams promoted and relegates up and down accordingly.
If there are any teams who drop out this year, all teams will move up in the order they are listed here:

Heater top scored with 164 and there was a handy 112 from Danger. But it was 121 from Michael Johnson, 107 from Sam Wright and 106 from Zach Smith in ruck that sealed the deal. The Cows were brave 119 from Sauce, 115 from Mcveigh, 108 from Fyfe and 103 from Harry Taylor (‘bout bloody time). It was a pretty good week for the donors, scoring 2,438 points, at a weekly ranking of 3,179. That moves our aggregate along to 45,301 and gives us an overall ranking of 7,408. So how did we get there?
Defence
H Shaw 164
B Houli 113
J Gibson 111
B Smith 108
K Kolodjashnij 86
L Hodge 60 (and hopefully rubbed out for weeks...)
Bench of N Malceski 68 and B Maynard 22.
A great start down back, with four tons, including a massive 164 from Cheater (who unfortunately wasn't our captain or VC). Houli, Gibson, and Smith also did really well, while Kolo was alright with his 68, and Hodge was completely dirty with his 60. Seriously, that bump - he could have broken Wingard's neck! I for one won't be sad about having to cover for Hodge for the next couple of weeks. Eski actually outscored Hodge, by 8 points, which is 8 potential points we missed out on.
Midfield
J Kennedy 129 (VC)
M Priddis 122
P Dangerfield 112 (Captain, 224)
N Fyfe 108 (and should have been rubbed out - bloody MRP doesn't have the b@lls to suspend the Brownlow favourite - it'll be tainted this year if he wins, that's for sure!)
S Pendlebury 106
C Ward 103
H Bennell 102
J Selwood 81
Bench of N O'Brien 88, J Nelson 37, and J Steele 0.
We started with JPK as the VC, and after seeing his 129, thought about it, but ended up sticking with Danger against Brissie, which didn't quite pay off. Still we had a lot of tons in the midfield this week, with everyone except for Ducky topping the 100. The big news was Fyfe, who we should be covering this week, and I for one am spewing that he's been let off yet again. Three despicable acts in the one year, and yet we're still thinking he's the best and fairest.... Excuse me for not understanding. Anyway, we wouldn't have made the move, but O'Brien on for Ducky would have given us an extra 7 points this week.

Donuts are officially here, and trades have run dried. Thankfully, the granny is here next weekend, and not on the rest weekend.
That is, if you made the granny!
