Mitch Clark has torn up the preseason and apparently shed whatever excess weight he might have been carrying late last year. An obvious choice and is in most teams.
Swan is priced as the fallen premium that he is this year and clearly most coaches think he will get back to better SC scoring. Will Buckley continue to play him forward as much this year?
There could be quite a few surprised SC coaches out there if Hugh Goddard and Nathan Krakouer aren't named for R1.
I had to chuckle at 5.5% of coaches who still have Petracca in their teams. Either the autofill function is dudding people or there are a lot of SC coaches who clearly haven't been paying attention.

A number of cheap DEF options are surprisingly popular picks, given the lack of exposure during NAB for some of these guys. Hugh Goddard could surprise a lot of coaches if he isn't named by the Saints for R1. Ditto Whitecross, who has been mooted to return via the VFL this year.
Nathan Brown has not averaged above 50 during the past 3 seasons, yet is the 7th most popular defender this year due to his rookie-price level. Will he be the ultimate slow-burner this year? I'm not convinced by his NAB scoring...

Final stages of divisional league organisation. Could all admins please PM reserves if spots still haven't been filled. Some reserves may end up being in two leagues, your admin will tell you if you should remove yourself from a league. For now, DO NOT remove yourself from any leagues.

- A minimum of 4 of those compulsory picks must be taken in the preseason draft, that is you must enter the 2015 preseason draft with a maximum of 24 players.
- It is not a matter of how many players you de-list, that is potentially irrelevant as the list size can be traded down or up in the trade period prior.
- If you enter this draft with more than 22 players you must participate in the 2015 midseason draft.
2. Each coach will have 18 hours to make their selection, after which time that turn is skipped, if they have not posted by the time any subsequent picks come up each pick will be given at least 6 hours and then also skipped.
3. Skipped picks can be taken at any time, please state in the post that it is a skipped pick along with the standard pick info.
4. Please double check that the player you are selecting is available first. Onus is on the coach to pick an available player, if you pick an ineligible player and subsequent selections are made by other coaches prior to its discovery their selections will stand and you will have to pick from the available pool at the time. Common sense prevails and will be applied by me, as commonly as I can..
5. If for some reason two people manage to legitimately pick the same player, resulting from timing around a scheduled pick and a skipped pick, the post with the earliest time stamp is the one who keeps him.

<p style='color: #444444; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #fcfcfc;]So what happens if you take Ablett out of your SC team? I did decided to find out. This is what I came up with. I am not fully convinced yet, but not that unhappy with the results either.

<p style='color: #444444; margin-bottom: 10px; background: #fcfcfc;][span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #fcfcfc;]I'm counting Smith/Gibson as DEF keepers, with Newnes/Higgins hopefully good enough to stay onfield all season and not miss out on too many points compared to other DEFs. 4 MID keepers plus a mid-pricer (Bontempelli) with a lot of upside, seems like the best way to splash the Ablett cash around at the moment. Finally 2 RUC keepers and[span style='font-size: 14px; background-color: #fcfcfc;]3 FWD keepers plus a fallen premium (Swan). That could amount to 14.5 keepers (optimistically), which I'm happy enough with for now.

After R11, trade out 3 guys with a R12 bye for players with a R11 bye, then after R12 trade out 3 players with a R13 bye, etc. Should only have 8 missing due to byes on any given week, leaving two further slots at risk due to injured/dropped players.

]Could all admins please create leagues and begin to send out invites using TS PMs. Please call the league TooSerious Div __ (whatever number it is). Note that you can send PMs to a maximum of 5ish people, so I would advise admins to send PMs out in groups of 3 or 4

Post the date that the league invites were sent and members will have 2 weeks starting on that day (the day the PMs were sent) to join the league, otherwise the reserve will be contacted to join. Also, please include me in the PM list so I can see what is happening.
The leagues have been finalised, and are listed below. We have exact numbers, but I imagine we will need at least one reserve. If you have not yet entered, you can join below, and will be placed on a waiting list for division 7 (still a very competitive league mind you). We still need a few more admins, otherwise I will have to create leagues then leave. Divisions 3 and 4 require someone to set up the league. Please post below if you can do that job.
