For those who take it way too seriously
The 2014 NBA Finals series kicks off tomorrow morning, between the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs.
We've got a couple of Aussies, in Patty Mills and Aron Baynes, playing for the Spurs.
I'm not going to go into any detail here, but if youre looking for a decent preview of the series, have a look at THIS ONE: http://grantland.com/features/nba-finals-preview-heat-spurs-2014/

<p style='background-color: white;]After his incredible achievements of last season, it's perhaps unsurprising to see Brisbane midfielder/forward Tom Rockliff currently topping the AFL fantasy rankings. The 24-year old hasn't just been leading the rankings, he's been the stand-out player in terms of fantasy points this season. With the current campaign reaching its mid-point, Rockliff finds himself on a mammoth 127.4 points per game; 10.1 points ahead of nearest rival Dayne Beams. Even more impressive than his current points total is the fact Rockliff has been averaging 147 points over the past five games, even racking up a colossal average of 153 points during his last three outings.
<p style='background-color: white;]
<p style='background-color: white;]While Rockliff's superb form this season has come as a shock to many AFL fans, fans to fantasy football will perhaps be less surprised by the Brisbane star's raise to the top of the fantasy rankings, in spite of the fact the club have been all but written off by bet365 fans.
<p style='background-color: white;]
<p style='background-color: white;]Rockliff first came to the attention of fantasy fans back in 2011 when he finished with an impressive average of 112 for the year playing in the Brisbane midfield. The youngster had the eighth most disposals in the AFL that season, and his consistent kicking and hard running had him firmly singled out as a fantasy star of the future. Rockliff's 2012 season was a different story, however, with the South Australian used more as a forward that year, resulting in fantasy fans losing out as his average dropped significantly to 93.
<p style='background-color: white;]
<p style='background-color: white;]Despite that disappointing season, 2013 saw Rockliff return to his place as one of fantasy fans must-have picks in his fantasy figures; finishing the season with a useful average of 103 in spite of his...

Welcome once again to a new edition of the TooSerious Best Buys.
This week saw some massive scores, some shockers, and a fair few upsets, making it all the harder to sort the wheat from the SC chaff.
Incredibly there are no rookies on the bubble this week. None. Either that or my sorting abilities should come into question. So instead we've thrown in 2 players who are either on the bubble or rookie priced, and a whole swag of upgrade options to try and accommodate this weeks trading needs.
The Best Buy for the week, is Tex Walker. A massive game on the weekend saw Tex fly into contention for a lot of sides, and with his heavily discounted pricing should see him as one of the most popular trade-ins for the round. The Crows look a much better unit with Tex in the side, and even though the Suns back-line isn't exactly the best in the comp, the rest of their team certainly make up for it and are by no means 'easy-beats' any more. Along with Tex are a few other fallen premium type KPF's this week, all at a great price, but all risky choices as well.
DEFENSE
ROOKIES
Angus Litherland (HAW) DEF 165.7k 48 +46k
Litherland earned himself a reprieve on the weekend, and then followed up by pumping out a 115 for the coaches that backed him in. No longer on the bubble but suddenly a lot more appealing, Litherland is still priced at 165 grand and is facing a 46 grand price rise after his next game. Obviously his Job Security is a bit suspect, but his last outing certainly can't have done his chances much harm.
MID-PRICERS
Matthew Jaensch (ADE) DEF 417.3k 94
Jaensch appears to be back in form after a recent minor injury, belting out a 128 in his last match to bring his season's average to 94. Priced cheaply at around 420 grand and currently sitting in around 32,000 sides Jaensch is no longer much of a POD but has shown the potential to still be worthwhile.

Clearly Sydney was the team of the round (to my delight, hail Tippo!), but that doesn't mean a team full of Swannies in the current HindSight line-up ... or does it? For the season to date, Sydney is most represented of all teams, but Port is barely getting a mention.

Tell you what, if you told me at the start of the year that the Suns would be playing for 2nd place at the mid-sesaon mark, I would have raised my eyebrows. Also wouldn't have believed that Port would be on top at the halfway mark.
Sydney smashing Geelong by 100 points after losing earlier in the season to the GWS. Again, wouldn't have believed.
Tell you what though, these Sunday night games- as a footy fan, I like- but from a fantasy standpoint- I wanna know my scores already!
That said, fielding Charlie Cameron with Shenton and Ambrose on the bench- regretting that decision already.
Happy with O'Briens ton coming in for Swan though.
How have you all gone?

Who chose not to double their vice captain's score but decided to roll the dice and ended up with Ablett's underwhelming 75 SC points?? Finally, the byes are over. Many SC coaches have been looking forward to fielding a full team for the last few weeks, and now we get the chance. After the carnage, and some surprisingly high scores, of the bye rounds the race to become fully upgraded is on in earnest, and many coaches will be taking the plunge on some more risky upgrades this week. The forward rookies have all come out to play, the backline has a few decent options including our Best Buy, and the midfield is chock full of guns. What better time to upgrade?
Our Best Buy of the week, is Kade Simpson. After a stand-out performance against the Crows Simmo has propelled himself to the top of the leader board for defenders this season, and isn't looking like slowing down anytime soon. The Blues really need to pick up the pace from here, and Simpson is certainly one of the players that will be relied on to perform. Previously Simpson and football maybe haven't gone together in the best of ways but here in SC, if the glove fits.....

Jed Bews (GEE) DEF 123.9k 50 +33k
After making the Best Buys last week due to no rookies actually being on the bubble, Bews again gets the call up and has now played 2 games. Averaging 50 and facing a 33 grand price rise this week, Bews looks the better of the 2 defensive rookie options.
Kurt Aylett (ESS) DEF 123.9k 30 +7k
Aylett is also on the bubble this week, albeit averaging 30 and only facing a price rise of around 7 grand. With not a great deal of value on offer in the backline however the young Bomber may still help a few teams.
MID-PRICERS
Michael Johnson (FRE) DEF 499.7k 98
MJ just makes the cut as a mid-pricer this week, scraping in $300 below the 500 grand mark with an average of 98. Unfortunately he's also set to lose around 2 grand this week, but with only around 10,000 selections so far his POD value should offset that small loss. The Dockers seems to be picking up speed...
