Okay so this is essentially a bastardisation of P_L's thread. I couldn't work out how to promote it to a featured article. And the main page is where the ORFFL belongs. Damnit, that's where 3n4nsy belongs.

Putting all that aside, here are the dates for the upcoming trade, delistments, draft, trade periods:

    2016 Pre-Pre-SeasonDraft Trade Period - Now - Feb 26th 9pm AEDT
2016 Pre-Season Delistment Deadline (lists at no more than 20 player) - Feb 27th 9pm AEDT
2016 Pre-Season Draft - Feb 29th 0:00AM (or earlier the night of the 28th if you want)
    2016 Post-Pre-Season Draft Trade Period - End of draft - 23rd March 9pm AEDT

?

If an auto-pick should occur, who should that player be?

Actually, I think Jobe has the highest FA avg. Or at least that's what I've been told.

At one pick per day, we should be finished the pre-season draft just in time for the mid-season draft.

The TS Free Agent list didn't have the averages for the banned players, but they've been added manually now.

Think Fez's lack of Japanese internet is gunna drag it all out a bit- hopefully he can get a list through to someone.

Haha right-o. Was under the impression we were blindly following this rule for three years plus but didn't realise it was actually irrelevant. TTYL.

Does anyone have a s/sheet with all the teams/players listed like yesteryears? If I could get that emailed that would be great. Also unlikely to be on again today, best email me as well if it ends up my pick.

      Sooooo......

Given this break in play, let's discuss who's available in a non-poll form.

Rookie-wise, for me it's Weitering who has the most value on the board. Yes, he plays for Carlton....
however, despite only playing one practice game he's clearly already one of their better players, he'll be a lifetime DEF (one of the more valuable positions) and let's face it, he'll be where the ball is probably for most of his career.

BDB though, they need a FWD really. Particularly after some cuts they made that let's just say if I were the captain of that ship, I would not have made the same decisions.

I honestly don't think the have the patience required to invest in Schache (who I have some question marks on), so for me Aaron Hall is the go. I think he's already proved he can play at AFL level and it's not like there's not going to be room for him on the field at GCS given what will occur in the coming years.

At worst i think you're getting a +90ppg FWD this year, and a +95ppg MID in the years to come. And BDB could use that too.

The fact Weitering plays for Carlton is a bonus rookie wise. barring injury, he will play all year, and barring a miracle, the ball will be down his end A LOT! No brainer for mine.

No love for Gray? No Monfries means a spot is there for the taking, and he was impressive late last year.

I picked Weitering in the poll. Best available from the yet-to-debut crowd and will give 8-10 years of his best service to whoever picks him up. Can't be so sure for most of the other options available.

      Eh, some love for Gray.

I think he's more a pure midfielder though than a HHF, and so it's not really Monfries spot that he's picking off.

Gotta remember who's picking. Brayden Sier for sure.

With the 4 standout mids taken, no doubt Weitering has the most value, and arguably he had more value than them to begin with. All the pre draft hype has only gone up a few notches after NAB1 as well, and yes, the ball will spend a lot of time in his area of the field, just how much of it going over his head for a goal remains to be seen.
Questions about Schache?? The only question I see is which year will be the first that he has a 100 goal season. Probably 2018, but I wouldn't write off his chances in 2017, and no, I don't mean in the NEAFL. ;)
Aaron Hall is a spud and we don't mention his name at the TLP. :(
You didn't mention Brayden Sier, would surely have to come into consideration for the Bandits. Also where's Bear, we need him to come into bat for Sam Gray, puff puff.

We should probably think about instituting the TUTT medal for either the worst pick or the longest time walking to the podium.
