Okay so this is essentially a bastardisation of P_L's thread. I couldn't work out how to promote it to a featured article. And the main page is where the ORFFL belongs. Damnit, that's where 3n4nsy belongs.

Putting all that aside, here are the dates for the upcoming trade, delistments, draft, trade periods:

    2016 Pre-Pre-SeasonDraft Trade Period - Now - Feb 26th 9pm AEDT
2016 Pre-Season Delistment Deadline (lists at no more than 20 player) - Feb 27th 9pm AEDT
2016 Pre-Season Draft - Feb 29th 0:00AM (or earlier the night of the 28th if you want)
    2016 Post-Pre-Season Draft Trade Period - End of draft - 23rd March 9pm AEDT

?

If an auto-pick should occur, who should that player be?

Really surprised to get him here. Major slider. Oliver, Ryder and Kennedy. Very happy with that.

There is no special consideration, it's all to do with which players you think should be in the player pool to be autopicked from. Having a player that is not suspended is going to offer the same cons/pros situation anyway. Go ask Lucas how much fun he had with Mitchell last MSD.

      You answered your own question.

Players that are suspended, players that retired do not equal players that are are injured. They are not the same thing therefore no reason to treat them as the same thing.

Well, I'm no a sheep and I'm going to express my opinion on a topic as a coach of this league and where I think people's reasoning breaks down against my view. If "tough titties" is how you want to view your fellow coaches that's your prerogative but it aint my view.

It's funny, considering during the 'FFF the autopick selection there had all sorts of amendments based on how many games a player had the following season yet here people don't give a shit if even if that player is suspended or retired to simply exclude them from the list.

Witnessed two extremes to the same topic.

      Totally disagree with this.

I agree with Jason, but would extend my thinking to say that including a retired player is a bit rough. On the other hand, suspended players might actually be good pick ups in years to come (ie, Ryder).

I took the retired player bit out of the quote, because I agree with you stripey.

We should set up a multi-answer poll to get the rule clarified once and for all.

If a deadline hits, which players are eligible

      A) Retirements
      B) Long term LTI (12+ months)
      C) Long term suspensions (12+ months)
      D) other (specify)

      Also, #TUTT TUTT TUTT!!

Wouldn't be an ORFFL draft if we didn't have a good argument going about one issue or another :p Must be the waiting time getting on people's nerves.

The TS ORFFL supercoach league currently has 10/18 participants. I think you guys are the ones not currently represented, noting that @snoz took up the 18th spot last year when Hornsy did not participate. Apologies if I have mixed up names and mismatched your TS username with your SC username.

Anyone who hasn't yet signed up and wishes to do so, the TS ORFFL code is: 181726
