I don't know mate. I figured if you're raising the objection to my bid you would be knowledgable on the fine print. I just had a quick look and it's not very clear -

    (h) Auctions can be held to trade players, picks or both. Auctions will be run in the “Classical Style” (refer auction rules) unless otherwise stated by the seller at the start of the auction.

Anyhoo @tyze1 where's this auction at!?

    Gentlemen,
While the auction rules thread does not specifically state this, it is a requirement of an auction bid (both in ORFFU and in real life) that the bid be binary and specific.
    http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/auction-rules.89267/#K1HtTMx6PxzfVVEJ.97

Bids are not to involve options or negotiations in any way. Trades are designed for this!
Bidding is knowing exactly what is available, and exactly what is being offered in exchange.

I will update the Auctions Rules thread to show this.

Just under 24hrs to close and at this stage, and having looked at both bids, the bid that suits the Barcrawlers needs best, is the one from the Smugglers, although they're very close to each other.
Hartlett and 2 lesser picks just edges out Redden and 1 superior pick.

However the Barcrawlers reserve the right to not accept either of these bids.

UPDATE (before heading out with my wife for some R&R, seeing as the twins are in Bangkok)
    Mick,
Banchang won't be in a position to use PSD75 and a good chance not to use MSD 3rd Round over and above our own 3rdRd , so unfortunately, your previous bid hasn't been improved.

UPDATE: This bid is now the leading bid. As I've only just surfaced after a nice night out, I'll need a bit of time to do some research before deciding whether my reserve has been met.
