      * I Have not included any results from matchup week 1 scores due to it being only 6 days, instead of 7. Round 1 results can be found HERE

I said last week that the lowest aggregate would take some beating, but its been knocked off already, just 1 week later,

I think @rodgo has given up for the season :poop:

I think he has. Today he left Lebron 75pts and Lou Williams 70 pts on the bench o_O

Yeah yesterday was a good day :)

Finally learnt my lesson and went in with a plan for the draft instead of trying to wing it like I have done every other year.

So far so good for this season.

Im considering going through and setting up his roster for every day in advance, so at least he'll have players playing not on bench.

Does anyone object to me doing this?

I reckon you should go ahead and set up his roster for each day.

Wow, still 4 teams that are undefeated.

I'm not in that comp but if a player basically threw in the towel and by all rights should get relegated but I got relegated instead because the commish set up his team for him I'd be pretty annoyed. Plus if teams have already had the advantage of the easy win then it would be fair for all other teams to have the same advantage (unless of course the player just decided to log back in and get involved again)

      Just my thoughts for consideration.

You make good points. I'd forgotten about the whole relegation thing so I tend to agree.
I would have a different view if it was in the bottom leagues though, as ultimately it is for fun and its not fun when you get an easy win by someone not playing, even if setting up their roster means that the team who got the win when it was clear they were no longer playing gets a slight advantage.

Thinking about it further, I agree with what is posted here.

It is unfair to the teams who have yet to play against Rodgo.

I think we will have to ride it out and see if he returns.

Very good feedback. im glad you spoke up.

I was in two minds but not really because of the reasons you pointed out.

Personally, i wouldnt have a problem with someone having their roster set up for the rest of the season, because i would expect everyone to do that anyway, and id still expect them to lose majority of weeks because theyre not making changes, unless they drafted really well like that Waltham City team in Conference 1 this season! Also, they went MIA less than 2 weeks ago too so not long.

I was more worried about the precedent it might set. After posting the initial comment saying i was considering doing it, i immediately began to think i shouldnt because i dont want us to have to do that every time it seems someone has gone MIA. It should be all of our own personal responsibilty to set up our own team.

I was initially just thinking about it from an enjoyment perspective cause its no fun playing such a weak team.

But yes, again, excellent feedback. i agree with you that it shouldnt be done.

In season 1, we actually had a midseason draft of all the players from a team that went missing. the coach was actually @yumcha way back in around 2010. @yumcha didnt play the next season or 2 and then started back up and is now back in the premier league :)

@yumcha that year, you'd drafted all the good SFs and we needed them in a 20 team league haha

That mid season draft in Year 1 from the two MIA teams was a life saver, added some usable players back into the fold.
