@ViQBoZ, @stowie, @thokash, @tyze1, @Len, @Dale Duivesteyn , @Darran The 2019 All-Stars Match is to be played at Heard Island during Round 23, each team will have at least 1 representative in the final 22 (named in the classic Super coach format except with no C/VC and with an emergency on each line, ie 26 players total). My suggestion is that each coach nominates players from their own side by no later than 8pm on Saturday 17th August (ie midway through Round 22) so that we can decide on a draft side by Sunday/Monday and then make adjustments following Round 23 AFL selections on Thursday 22nd August. The final team is to be posted in the the 2019 Rep Footy match thread http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/2019-orfff-rep-game.90505/ no later than 1pm on Friday 23rd August. Post away.

If we reeeaaallllyyy need defensive depth, Mole Creek can offer Adam Saad, back from injury this week avg. 82
Do we really not have any other ruck nominations? At this point any playing ruck would make the grade!
When I had a browse through Stef Martin was on one of the lists, I suggest we check all positions to see if anyone decent has been missed.
On behalf of NKB I will nominate both Adam Treloar and Rowan Marshall, post #7 has been updated http://tooserious.net/forum/stats.p...RUC&salary=0&name=&up_code=&tsLeagueTeamId=73
If we're still chasing a DEF depth, Brad Sheppard (85) and Shane Savage (84) have made themselves available. RUC wise, if Lobb (87) is picked he would be happy to play.

I think all names survived the Thursday selection so we are good to go. Lycett is included on an extended bench and looks likely to play, if he is selected I like the above draft with a couple of things up for debate Brodie Smith vs Jack Crisp - Smith has been in good form of late but his role is still uncertain returning to half back tomorrow, Crows must win vs Dogs which is a tick, but the Pies have a depleted Bombers team to tackle for Crisp - Smith also offers a more even team spread (both AFL and ORFFF) but I'm obviously a Crisp fan Scott Lycett vs Mitch Robbo vs Stef Martin - if Lycett does get named with R/F eligibility we can swing him both ways or leave him out all together! No Nankervis for the Tigs so Stef could definitely have a big game, similarly Sandilands is out and Lycett has a point to prove. As much as I love Robbo I think maximising the amount of rucks playing is to our benefit given how generously they are scored by Champion Data. It does mean we might need to look at the ruck emergency position, at least we will know Grundy is locked in Friday night though.
