We love our AFLW and Fantasy Footy here at TS, so much so that we are launching the Global Women’s Fantasy Football Premier League – GWFFPL or Premier League for short. A rules thread will be posted tonight and a link to 2020 player averages will be provided shortly. A brief overview of this comp is that we will running 8 teams and drafting 21 players each in this inaugural draft. Teams will be named after a city, maximum 1 city per country (including Australia). For inspiration here is a list of the 150 largest cities, however any city is OK ! http://www.citymayors.com/statistics/largest-cities-population-125.html Can all coaches please advise their Franchise Names - City plus Nicknames and country of that city if it isn't obvious - Ie Newcastle (UK) / Newcastle (Aus) etc - either first thing on Thursday or when they take their first pick in the draft. Ahead of the 2022 GWFFPL season a maximum of 14 players can be retained with a maximum of 6 players aged under 21 and we will then hold a preseason draft to select from the GWFFPL Free Agent pool including players drafted by the AFLW clubs following the 2021 AFLW season. Please also note that Jess Duffin averaged 77 in 2019 and Chelsea Randall average 58 the same year, as both had a 2020 average of zero, as they were inactive for the 2020 AFLW season. It is correct, we are running a banzai draft rather than a snake. From Round 4 forward every round is a reverse of the previous round.
