Round 3 brings the competitions first ever rivalry round with 6 matches sure to provide entertainment galore for the respective spectators @anthak @dmandrews Pomona Nymphs (2-0, 1489) vs Lake St Clair Devils (2-0, 1538) – It is 2nd hosting 1st in the first rivalry match of the week, with the coaches sharing a love of footy and basketball as well as a strong rivalry in the men’s ORFFA fantasy comp . With the winning side moving to 3-0 after this match the likelihood of finals football will increase substantially for whoever can prevail in this game. @FreoDockers @That KI Guy Katanning Krushers (2-0, 1404) vs Vivonne Bay Valkeries (1-1, 1236) – the WA and SA sides meet in the rivalry match that matters most for those situated west of the Victorian border. Vivonne Bay coach @That KI Guy will no doubt be trying every trick in the book (and some that aren’t) to inspire his charges to kick a winning score against a dour Krushers outfit. @Tracey @Tiny_doughnut Scone Sirens (2-0, 1292) vs Sandgate Sugar Gliders (0-2, 1397) – the ladder favours Scone while points for favours Sandgate in this battle for the ages in the third rivalry match of the week, which is sure to be hard fought right through to the final siren. @Pearcey47 @ver_redit_optatum Legana Legends (0-2, 1055) vs Glenbrook Galahs (1-1, 1531) – Legana are hard to beat at their Bulman Drive HQ while the Galahs will be keen to prove they have the Legends measure and can back up their round 2 form regularly throughout the weekly grind of the regular season. TTH @Len Manildra Mystix (1-1, 1455) vs Bathurst Belles (0-2, 1089) – the Battle for Orange is here and the capacity crowd at Flour Girls Stadium will be expecting a willing encounter as both sides look to dominate the contest physically as well as on the scoreboard and give the wining fans something to lord over the nearest and bitterest rivals. @marconofrio @Peter W Georgia Geeniuses (0-2, 1281) vs Timboon Trailblazers (1-1, 1285) – the final tussle of rivalry round features 2 sides that finished top 4 in 2020. Both clubs will be looking to build momentum for season 2021 as they clash for the all important 4 premiership points in a game that could go either way. -------- Please make sure that your 18 player squad is entered into TS Leagues nice and early and SAVED correctly, I would recommend doing this as early as possible on Thursday and then resubmitting before each match following progressive naming of AFLW teams across the round (ie Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 530pm) and note the round lockout is scheduled for the final Saturday AFLW match rather than Sunday morning as with the previous 2 rounds. http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagueTeam.php Once again we hope you will enjoy all of the ORFFW action this week and if you are super keen to follow proceedings live make sure to download the AFLW app to see the AFLW fantasy scores and cheer your side on throughout the weekend, noting your opposition is shown on the following link. http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagueMatchday.php?leagueId=21&round=3 Cheers TTH
Hard to say. I expect something to be announced today for the 510pm Sunday slot (given the derby was announced last Friday). If the game is off then topup players (as allocated previously) remains an option but I would like to avoid that if teams can field 13 players without any out of position and would prefer to make a decision late Friday rather than before lockout tonight.

The Galahs' coaching team didn't get much free time to watch games this weekend, but were happy to catch an entire half of the footballing smokeshow that is Ellie Blackburn, starting off the weekend with a huge 120. At half time I think it's 7/427 with the Legends at 6/258. We have Scheer, Arnell, O'Dwyer, Bonnici, Haynes and Cameron to play, while the Legends wait on Lutkins, Collier, Bates, Mules, Strom, Laurie and Zielke. Fully 6 of the Legends and 3 Galahs are playing on Monday, so full scores will be a while away.
Lake St Clair Devils 507/8 Still to play E Swanson, S Allen, M Conti, Jesse Tawhio-Wardlaw and S Chiocci Lead Pomona Nymph’s 437/9 Still to play E Marinoff, C Svarc, S Frederick, and T Lavey (debut) @anthak In a top of the table ORFFW clash the Lake St Clair Devils have the lead mid-way through the third quarter. The Pomona Nymph’s still have two midfielders to take the field, Cathy Svarc and their best player Ebony Marinoff, whilst WNBL and Australian Opals basketball player Tessa Lavey will be making her debut for Pomona on the interchange. LSC Devils players have the two highest scores of the game so far, forward/midfielder Jasmine Garner (109) and midfielder Kirsty Lamb (98). Midfielder Bec Beeson (84) and defender Aileen Gilroy (66) have been the Nymph’s two best players to this point.
The home side have managed 779 all out to put one hand firmly on the trophy in the Battle for Orange @Len. With Michaela Bowen left to play the visitors are currently 12/561 requiring a double ton and then some from the Eagles tyro if they are to snatch the 4 points.
Half-way through the last quarter and kicking with the breeze in the last term the Lake St Clair Devils are very well placed to continue their unbeaten start to the 2021 ORFFW season, leading Pomona by 74 points and having a player in hand. Lake St Clair Devils 677/11 @ 61.5 Still to play E Swanson and J Tawhio-Wardlaw lead Pomona Nymph’s 603/12 @50.3 Still to play C Svarc
