This OP will be a placeholder for the 2022 AFLW fixture (pencilled in for an early January commencement) and the thread will be a place to post pre-season, in-season and post-season news and views ahead for season six. Practice matches to be held December 17, 18 and 21
Every club's list for the 2022 AFLW season (womens.afl) AFLW Team lists, ins/outs, and inactive players are shown and updated regularly through the pre-season
Who's wearing what? New recruits' AFLW jumper numbers revealed (womens.afl) Jumper numbers are progressively posted in this link, noting now that Geelong have confirmed theirs each team has now done so, even through some are not included in this article. Club websites are another good source.
pre-season info from the Gold Coast Remembering that the 2022 season starts almost a month earlier and players coming off 12 month injuries like ACL's are much more likely to be missing some or all of this season than would otherwise be the case so as an owner "Young midfielder Jacqui Yorston is also on track to play in 2022 as she continues to progress well after rupturing her ACL last pre-season" makes me think that a midseason return could be more likely than a Round 1 start Suns club champion racing the clock to be fit for round one (womens.afl) Patrikios taking indefinite time off from the club (St Kilda) is also pretty ambiguous, so if you read something about a player elswhere on the web and wish to share a link here please do so.
You might be right about the timing of her return....from the Suns website One of the most significant returns has been from midfielder Jacqui Yorston, who has resumed football drills after surgery on an ACL injury prior to the 2020 NAB AFLW season. Yorston continues to tick off milestones in her recovery and AFLW physiotherapist Jasmine Roulstone said the 21-year-old was set to play again in 2022. “Jac has been working really hard on her rehab since missing all of last season with her ACL injury and is now enjoying being back out on the field doing football drills,” Roulstone told the Qscan Injury Update. “She has been doing non-contact training and will continue this way while she ticks off the next steps in her rehab. “We’re anticipating she will return to full contact training soon and will be available to play again during the 2022 season which is great news for Jac.” https://www.goldcoastfc.com.au/news/1027949/qscan-aflw-injury-update-pre-season

I forgot that Patrikios was a cornerstone of my team... for heaven's sake. Hopefully she gets her act together and comes back...
Practice matches locked in: Flag favourites to lock horns (womens.afl) All 14 AFLW clubs will be playing a practice match this weekend. Four of the games are open to the public and three of the games are closed to the public.

Having so many retirees at the Galahs must have saved her. The Lions named a squad of 28 so it is hard to know how close she is to the best 21 but a good match on Friday would have to help her cause.
