One week to go everyone. Get excited!!!! ...and don't forget to enter your team in TSL. We'll obviously be going with the rolling lockout again due to the prolonged fixtures and the release of team sheets. Don't go trying any funny shenanigans with looping players. I have created rule 1K to more formally state this (subject to review). If there is any debate, please hold it in the rules discussion thread http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/rules-discussion-thread.90234/
Will our teams be locked out on the Friday night ? If one of our emergencies does not get named can we still pull from the reserves to cover the main player named but does not play due to possibly a late out?
It’s been so quiet since the draft. What are the thoughts on the season? There’s definitely a few good teams in the mix. All the familiar names and a couple that may jump up. Anything can happen in the grand final, the task will be making the 8. I reckon I’ll start slow, but should pick up some momentum once I, hopefully, get my full side on the park
Rolling lockout will be dependent on AFL team lists being released. Generally lockout will occur the night after last match of the round teams are released (ie Friday lockout for a Thursday-through-Sunday round with teams named on Thursday night for the Sunday games). Can still only have 4 emergencies, name them on whichever line you wish. Nothing is changing, just formalising what we've done for a few years now.
Ahhhhh! The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry... Traded out my No1 ruck and 2 x 1st rd picks to get PSD Pick 9 and steak knives, to make sure I got my man...... He's now done a hammy and is out for 8-10 weeks.....
As is the same as every other year, if I can get my best 15 to stay on the park at the pointy end of the season I believe I have a chance ............ every year key injuries or suspensions have been costly. Hope I can scrape through early on to give me any chance to secure top 4 birth
Would It be so hard for guys to prefix your threads and posts with ORFFU? The other ORFF* can manage it - it's not very difficult. Even walesy's league can do it. It would reduce confusion. thank you
I got one reasoned reply by pm. If you were to look at http://tooserious.net/forum/ you would see the other ORFF* threads identify themselves by their full league name. Do what you want in the ORFFU forum, but please identify posts / threads that emanate for your league. Is that too much to ask?
I'm not sure but maybe you're viewing a different Main Page to me...When I need info, I go to the New Posts listed on the Main Page and that shows me 2022 Discussion Thread Latest...... ORFFU As it does individually with all the other latest posts posted by the various Leagues.......I don't have any problems with that. just sayin'
yes it is. I’ve got a simple solution for you if it’s that much of an issue: if it says forum>AFL>ORFFU then just ignore it. We’ve been operating in our happy little corner for 5 or 6 years champ, and it appears you’ve come out from under some sort of rock just to start some drama. I encourage you to crawl back under it and go about your business while leaving us to do our thing.
C'mon guys, the dude has a point! All these ORFFU posts in the ORFFU thread must be VERY annoying to some - who are not a part of the ORFFU and enjoy trolling.
Can we please change the title of this thread to 'ORFF 2022 Discussion Thread' so that it's clear this thread could relate to any one of the ORFF leagues? I'm pretty sure that's what he wants...it's not very difficult.
