Season 2025 will be the first Premier League season with trading 2025 Preseason Trade periods will run as follows - pre-draft - starting 9pm July 27 and ending 9pm August 3 - post draft - from the final pick of the PSD until 9pm on August 12 Trade rules - teams must post their trade blocks in the trade discussion thread, or they are barred from trading - players mentioned in the teams trade block are eligible to be traded once 24 hours has elapsed from the trade block being posted - players who are inactive for 2025 can be traded - for 2025 trades cannot include draft picks - for 2025 trades must include equal numbers of payers being traded out and being traded in for each side - trades can involve more than 2 teams - trades can be negotiated either by pm or via auction, with auctions to run for at least 24 hours and to conclude between 8pm and 10pm East Coast time, or at 8pm sharp on trade deadline days. - trades cannot be vetoed, but questions will be asked of lower ranked teams trading out higher averaging players for significantly lower averaging players even if in line with a youth strategy - teams which over a period of time show a pattern of trading with a limited number of other teams and ghosting fair and genuine offers from others will also have questions asked
^^^ please read the OP and press the like button so we know that the rules/guidelines are reasonably clear The inaugural pre-draft trade period is open slightly early and runs until 9pm August 3rd.
The Majorca Islanders present their entire 2025 list returning from last season as a trade block DEF - Daisy D'Arcy (inactive), Gab Pound, Chelsea Randall, Madison Gay, Harriet Cordner, Georgia Clayden MID - Ella Roberts, Sophia Hurley, Ty Smith, Isabella Lewis, Karley Skepper, Eliza McNamara, Charlotte Simpson, Maria Moloney FWD - Hannah Ewings, Zali Goldsworthy (edit, thanks Will), Caitlin Gould, Georgia Garnett, Georgia Gee, Zali Friswell RUC - Lucy Wales, Kim Rennie, Poppy Kelly (noting 1 to be delisted or traded due to the 2 rucks max rule) The core of our list and likely 17 keepers at this point are young and we are able to entertain offers of players in their mid to late 20's from teams looking to manage ageing lists or players not fitting into their overall list strategy. A young defender would be an obvious list need, however our best fit may be trading Georgia Gee for someone's equivalent level and experience surplus midfielder. Apart from the logical approach I am a long time AFLW follower and have a stack of players from other Premier League teams I would like to trade for once teams have posted their trade blocks and negotiations can commence.
The Darmstadt Dynamos submit a trade block with most of their list open for offers: DEF - Breanna Koenen, Chantel Emonson (inactive), Tamara Smith, Jordyn Allen, Jodie Hicks MID - Britt Bonnici, Rebecca Beeson, Claudia Whitfort, Kate Dempsey, Mikala Cann, Deanna Berry RUC - Alice Edmonds, Lauren Wakfer FWD - Courtney Hodder, Danielle Ponter, Jacqui Parry, Tess Craven, Paige Scott, Imogen Barnett I have four players NOT available for trade: Ebony Marinoff, Tilly Lucas-Rodd, Brenna Tarrant and Charlotte Mullins. My trade doors are open!
