We are past the halfway point and are set for a huge round of matchups in Round 7! I'd like to start by congratulations Ally Anderson (KOR) and Ebony Marinoff (DAR) for becoming the first ever AFLW players to reach 100 games, a momentous occasion for the game! Without further ado, here's the fixture for this week's clashes! Stuttgart Storm (3-0-3) vs Darmstadt Dynamos (4-0-2) @Jono Steven (5th) vs @WillH_VI (3rd) A massive clash to start the round, with Stuttgart hosting local rivals Darmstadt in the third Free Kick Derby! The Storm are still smarting from a hard fought loss in FKD2 against the Caribou, but will be hoping MSD recruit Rylie WIlcox can provide some much needed run and dash from defence. The Dynamos on the other hand will be hoping star skipper Ebony Marinoff can once again lead the way in her 100th game, joined by new midfield recruits Megan Fitzsimon and Amy Gaylor. Quebec Caribou (6-0-0) vs Korean Kickers (2-0-4) @FreeKickLiam (1st) vs @Chloe (7th) The Caribou are rampaging towards another finals campaign, undefeated on top of the ladder with many thanks to their star midfield duo Ash Riddell and Jas Garner. The Kickers will be hoping 100-gamer Ally Anderson can inspire her side to a massive upset away, Adelaide All-Stars (0-1-5) vs Lagos Royals (6-0-0) @Corza (10th) vs @Peter W (2nd) The All-Stars are still chasing their first win, and will need to be at their best to overcome the undefeated Royals. MSD recruits Dayna Finn, Mia Busch and Georgia Clayden instantly add quality to a side yet to find its rhythm, whilst the Royals will be hoping to continue their winning ways to consolidate their spot in the top 2. Majorca Islanders (4-0-2) vs Lima Llamas (1-1-4) @TheTassieHawk (4th) vs @hoschke118 (8th) The Islanders have been struck by injuries of late, with several big name stars hindering their push towards finals. However, reinforcements are coming, and a winning record should help the Islanders stay well in the finals fight. The Llamas will be hoping star import Danielle Ponter can provide a spark up forward, though with several stars out with injury it will be a tough ask away from home. Vancouver Vultures (2-0-4) vs Kyoto Kruisers (1-0-5) @Athos123 (6th) vs @FreoDockers (9th) The Vultures targeted forwards in the MSD and will look to spearhead Tayla Harris in particular to provide some much needed forward craft, while Alyssa Bannan is no slouch either! They take on a Kruisers side keen to bank their second win, and with new recruit Georgia Garnett in good form and midfield reinforcements now available, there's plenty to like from this Kyoto side. —————- Please note for round 7 partial lockouts apply progressively until full lockout as at the late Friday game 2 hours after Sunday teams are finalised. For practical reasons please post a full team asap after squads are announced and then tweak as needed via separate follow up posts if looping scores up to the full lockout. ——————— Please also update your squad ASAP in TS leagues for delists, trades (excluding the voided trade) and draftees. It will make it much easier to check spreadsheets and ensure minimal confusion over the rest of the season and our rollover into 2026.
