Don't forget, there's no Suns or Power this week.

Or Rocky or Boyd or Libba or Butler or any rookies to speak of! Rough times.

Treloar and Beams are back though- woo!

I am looking at 23 players before trades and will be giving Parsons a run at F7 on Friday night.

I am not sure who will be traded out as yet out of Otten, Butler, Balic, Florent and others.

I will be bringing in Myers (If in the 22) and either a D4/F5/M6 which should give me 24 players.

I have changed my trade plans so many times this week, first hoping Balic would play. After news came through of his indefinite absence, I finally worked out another trade plan which I was really happy with, but now Butler's injury means my only real option is to trade Butler and Houston in fwds to avoid donuts. because I also have Eddy and Strnadica (because Nank in ruck to cover Witts).
I'm gonna bring in Heeney, I shouldve last week, but decided to upgrade my D to Heater instead. Heeney was in my starting team until his pre-season injury forced him out. Now finally gonna bring him in.

Means I need a cheap FWD rookie who is playing this week. I cant afford James Stewart unfortunately.

Anyone else have an idea which one i should go for? There are actually quite a lot named this week!
I'm currently thinking Durdin, because at least he is on the bubble, and he has a good bye for me.

Heeney will be my final upgrade in FWD line, so whoever it is I bring in will sit on the bench with Eddy from next week on (bar byes).

I was also looking at a donut on the fwd line with the Nank/Witts cover ended with Strnadica there no Balic and the bane of my life Pickett. Traded Hampton to Burton to swap to backline after this week as a stepping stone trade up to Docherty after byes, also unloaded Balic to Myers, this leaves me with 20 trades. Thoughts??

      Galluci @anthak ?
Between greenwood Bolton and galluci he's my pick. Always a risk with debutantes obviously tho.
I would've got him in but managed to wrangle balic to Myers and otten to Michael Johnson. Backline 1 away from being finished for me - Adams shaw hibberd Johnson z jones and marchbank to be upgraded after byes

Well having SPP and Ryder will test my depth really wanted to hold on to SPP till he maxes out but wanted to avoid a donut or playing Zac Fisher on field. Can trade SPP for maybe Myers and play him in place on Taranto who I have to move forward (via Balic into the mids) with Ryder having the bye.
TU - down SPP to Myers
TD - save the trade play Fisher

What about Durdin though? Do you think Galuci is ahead of him?

Probably the same job security. Galluci more of an unknown. Durdin still an apprentice so to speak and only comes in when Scott Thompson headbutts some prick

Tough times. Several matured rookies ready to cull but nobody to replace them with.

Only 1 trade this week, Butler to Heeney.

Hoping for more rookies on the bubble next week - maybe J Stewart, McNiece, McGinnis or Lloyd.

That Butler out certainly creates some problems, and if Myers doesn't get named the problem is compounded.

Does anyone have any insight into the job security of McInnes at West Coast?

I'm bringing in Hibberd and can't understand why I've heard no mention of him as a trade in target this week.
      DEF $423k , B/E 80, Avg 95 (113 last week).
He's averaging 28 disposals over 4 games, only blemish was a 56 against the Hawks, but he still had 27 disposals in that game - just butchered a lot of them and gave away a few free kicks.

Otten to Hibberd costs you $63k - Am I missing something ?

Am also wondering what Soldo's inclusion will do to Nankervis's points generation...

I got him in after 1 game. That was enough for me to take a gamble on a prior top 5 defender. He may hit the 'supplement suspension' wall like a lot of the bombers did/are, but im hoping that theyre more mentally drained from it being dubbed the Essendon Saga and he escaped that being at Melbourne.
A lot of ifs and buts and gambles I know, but I certainly rate him highly if that's any comfort for you

      Also some interesting Otten stats:
Avg with Jenkins in the side: 57.75
      Avg without Jenkins: 101.25

Jenkins out this week, trade Otten at your Peril !

Like Anthak I have been working on a number of different options this week. I need to trade Rocky as I can't be without him for 3 weeks. I had already setup up the Nank/Witts move but now I have no Balic or Butler and Black and Pickett are out of favour - I should have traded one of them last week when I had the chance. With only two trades available I will still have a forward donut. I have $200000 in the bank and I am thinking Rocky to Mitchell and Butler to Billings.
