2020 ORFFW Supplementary Preseason Draft (as copied from the rules thread) http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/orffw-keeper-league-rules-up-for-discussion.90588/ Post naming of Round 1 AFLW teams (likely to be the evening of 6th February 2020) any drafted players not named for AFLW Round 1 can be replaced on any list by any Free Agent who is named for AFLW Round 1 – first in best dressed prior to the start of the Carlton vs Richmond match. Any franchise may nominate a maximum of 2 players nominated as INACTIVE prior AFLW Round 1 and the vacant spot on the 21 player primary list can be filled by any Free Agent who is named for AFLW Round 1 post naming of Round 1 AFLW teams (likely to be the evening of 6th February 2020) – again first in best dressed – up to the start of the Carlton vs Richmond match. Post Supplementary PSD the maximum of 3 Ruck eligible players (including R/F) per list remains in place, inclusive of INACTIVE players. Excluding INACTIVE player supplementary selections and the first 2 supplementary player selections, all subsequent player selections for a franchise affect the following midseason draft order as follows:- 1st and 2nd supplementary selection = no MSD impact 3rd supplementary selection = loss of 2nd Round MSD pick 4th supplementary selection = loss of 1st Round MSD pick (in addition to the loss of the 2nd round MSD pick) 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th supplementary selection = loss of 3rd Round, 4th Round, 5th Round, 6th Round MSD picks respectively
@Len @Tracey @HOLKY @That KI Guy @anthak @dmandrews @FreoDockers @Tiny_doughnut @marconofrio @Nic Neg @var_redit_optatum Remember that you can't replace a player simply because you regret picking them. You can replace a player if they aren't named for Round 1. Please note that being named on an extended 7 player bench is considered part of the Round 1 team but being named as an emergency isn't. As stated above this is first in best dressed. So if teams are announced at 5pm on Thursday and someone takes the player/players you want at 510pm and you logon at 515pm - bad luck. Be prepared beforehand - for example you may - have a team list handy and note down which of your players are the most expendable/likely not to be named for Round 1 - review the ORFFW Free Agents list and have a ranked list of 5-10 players in each position that you have earmarked as potential additions via the supplementary draft - note down your current squad structure and how it might change if you trade out a defender for a forward (for example) - consider the MSD draft penalties that apply once you delist and replace your 3rd, 4th, 5th players via the supplementary draft and whether this will impact on your decisions pre-Round 1 - be prepared for the AFLW Round 1 teams announcement Once teams are named then quickly check which of your player are/aren't named for Round 1 (as above being named on an extended bench is considered part of the Round 1 team but being named as an emergency isn't), refer quickly to which players are expendable and post below the changes to your squad ie - Player W is delisted and is replaced by Player X - Player Y is delisted and is replaced by Player Z Do not under any circumstances edit your post, if you make a mistake quote your post and then explain the error as otherwise a first in best dressed system where between 10 and 30 players can potentially be selected in a short span of time can become very messy. Good luck to those participating - if you have any questions then please post below or let Len and/or myself know by pm.
The attached spreadsheet is an updated and slightly enhanced ORFFW Free Agent list. Like any spreadsheet update there is a chance I have stuffed it up somehow so don't treat it as 100% correct. The players shaded grey have a career average over 35ppg while the 2 players shaded orange have been added to AFLW lists since the 2020 preseason draft commenced or had their 2020 ORFFW position amended since the original player positions spreadsheet was issued. We hope to have the player database working 100% correctly soon but for the time being note that http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagues.php?leagueId=21&teamId=-2 is a rough Free Agent list but be aware that it includes players that were drafted by clubs but haven't been added to their respective team list within TS Leagues as yet (I am hopeful that this will be rectified well ahead of Thursday night).
That spreadsheet is so great. You have put an amazing amount of work into getting this league cracking. I hope you know its very much appreciated.
The Mystix make the following change via the 2020 ORFFW Supplementary draft Britney Gutnecht is delisted and Danielle Higgins/Orr (Geelong) is added to the list
Belles can't resist tinkering, added is Dee Heslop, GCS reluctantly delisted is Mia King, undoubtedly a future star
The Glenbrook Galahs would like to delist Sarah Halvorsen and replace with Britt Tully (also GWS). (rolls dice on keeping Whap-Farrar to come good later)
Pomona Nymphs delist Katie Lynch (sorry TTH). And select Nikki Gore from Adelaide to replace her. We’ve decided to keep both Darcy Guttridge & Lauren Pearce, who are our only other players not named this weekend.
Anna Teague was in the initial squad, but has been dropped now that the Sunday teams have been announced. We have decided to delist Anna Teague and replace her with Dayna Cox from Adelaide. Thank you
The Mystix make a further supplementary draft change with Kate Darby delisted and Nadia Von Bertouch added to the squad.
