    Please note @Len's advice from earlier in the week if you find you have missing spots in your round 5 team

    Coming up against the mighty Nic Neg, a coach with his own AFLW podcast and an extremely healthy For statistic, will the Galahs be able to pull off an upset?

    Given their injury woes, which see them trying out a number of new combinations this week, the answer is almost certainly not :) but let's have fun trying!

    In: Madison Newman, Jess Allan, Niamh Kelly, Jess Hosking, Vaomua Laloifi;
    Out: Ashleigh Brazill, Jess Foley, Tahlia Randall, Annalyse Lister, Cora Staunton;

    D: Vaomua Laloifi, Akec Makur Chuot, Madison Newman (Annalyse Lister)
    M: Britt Bonnici, Ellie Blackburn, Georgia Patrikios, Britt Tully (Lisa Steane)
    R: Jess Allan (Tahlia Randall)
    F: Imahra Cameron, Niamh Kelly, Lauren Arnell (Cora Staunton)
    I: Jess Hosking, Chloe Dalton (Greta Bodey)

    Probably just a power overload from hearing the voice of the one true GOAT Georgia Gee, don't worry, many thousands of television and computer screens blew up after her 3rd goal the other week.

    At half time the Devils have a strong lead 8/526 (65.75) with Garner leading the way with 117 & Conti 90. The Krushers have had 5 players hit the park with Harrington's 99 getting the score to 250 (50 ave). The Krushers need a huge Sunday to overhaul the big lead of @dmandrews

    The changes to the Lake St Clair Devils team for Round 5 were:

    Out: Jordan Ivey (suspended), Hannah Dunn (injured)
    In: Alison Drennan, Hannah Scott

    In Round 5 there is a top of the table clash between two undefeated teams for the second time in the brief history of the ORFFW keeper league. In the first of these clashes the second placed Lake St Clair Devils playing at home overcame a half-time deficit to upset the Batemans Bay Battlers who entered the Round 3 clash on top of the ladder. In this weekend’s Round 5 clash the roles are reversed for the LSC Devils as they are on top of the ladder, are the favourites and lead at half-time in their road trip to play the Katanning Krushers.

    The three players averaging the most for the Krushers in 2020 are all playing in the first or second AFLW game tomorrow, being Collingwood duo Jamie Lambert (97) and Bri Davey (63) along with Eagle Dana Hooker (80) so @FreoDockers Katanning are well placed to reduce the margin in the third quarter and remain within striking distance to set up a thrilling final quarter. Vice-captain Emma Swanson (79) is the only Devil that averages over 70 playing tomorrow whilst LSC Devils captain Jasmine Garner is almost certain to consolidate her place in the top three of the league b & f award with her score of 117.

    Cradle Mountain are back in the club rooms having amassed a score of 809 at an average of 62.2 per player, however their two interchange players combined for only 51 points which has played a role in keeping the door ajar for the Krushers who have been inspired by a massive game from Bri Davey with 128 points to fight back from a half-time deficit and make it close to a 50/50 game.

    @FreoDockers Katanning Krushers have scored 651/10 at an average of 65.1

    To defeat the Devils the Krushers require 158 from their remaining 3 players. It looks set to go down to the wire as this Fremantle trio of KK players in P Seth (38 points per game in 2020), K Antonio (54) and H Miller (55) are averaging a combined 147 points during the 2020 season. Whatever the result it is going to be a great tune-up for both sides for when the ORFFW finals commence in a fortnight's time.

    In a comparatively lower scoring match the unofficial scores have the Mystix posting a club best 788 to record a 117 point victory over a 12 woman Sandgate @Tiny_doughnut side who posted 671.

    The Krushers @FreoDockers won the top of the table clash with the Devils by a 39 point margin following an ORRFW record score of 845 to the visitors 3rd highest ever ORFFW effort of 806 in reply.

    The Battlers @Nic Neg returned to the inners list and all but locked in a finals spot with their win over the Galahs, while the Geeniuses have also notched their 3rd win by holding on for a nailbiting 41 point win over the Sirens. @marconofrio ’s side now can lock in a guaranteed finals berth should they manage a draw or win in Round 6 against the rampaging Krushers side.

    The chasing pack of 2 win, 3 loss teams looms large in 5th-11th spots after another set of stunning results with Manildra (TTH) and Pomona @anthak each jumping 5 places following wins over Sandgate and Vivonne Bay respectively to now sit in 4th and 5th spots.

    The final game saw Bathurst @Len notch their maiden victory at the 5th attempt as they held on for a heartstopping 12 point win over a sluggish Morwell side.

    In the FW MVP race Bateman's Bay's Kiara Bowers and Pomona’s Ebony Marinoff both polled their near regulation 5 votes to reach 24 of a possible 25 votes so far for the season. Third placed Jasmine Garner polled 4 for the Devils @dmandrews while fourth placed Emma Kearney polled 5 for the Geeniuses to leave them on 21 and 20 votes respectively as the remaining players in contention for the prestigious medal with one week of the home and away season to play.

    I still can’t believe Kiara Bowers dropped to #4 in our draft!

    Picks 2 & 3 went with younger players, but still Bowers was an absolute steal at 4!
