Well here's my Round 1 team - hoping that Duffin gets straight in for North and yes there is clearly a Freo Dockers Flavour!!
It looks like a strong side @FreoDockers - no Tarni Brown but Fitzsimon and Haynes are definitely strong alternatives for the two cheap midfielders slots. Ftzsimon presumably has more chance of a midfield role if Brown is playing off half forward but I personally woudl have BRown ahead of Verrier, but support choosing a Freo player over a Pies one given your allegiances. Sarah Allan was worth her wait in gold in 2020. Apperarently her price has not chnaged so it might be worth considering puttign her in ahead of one of the other onfield defenders and seeing if that generates any more dollars to spend in another spot (I am thinking upgrades of Watson or Vescio) It also might be worth spelling out which positions your bench players are eligible for when posting screenshots as I think Verrier is also a mid in this competition but is a DEF in TS comps, so I have no idea who is your spare defender (Haynes?).
Hi all - back to TS after a hiatus of a number of years. Was referred back because of the ShePlays AFLW comp. Joined in the league if that's OK. Happy to field questions about the Melbourne girls if anyone has any. But it seems to be a bit of a tight turn around before we are locked out. The window from Friday teams being named to lockout was way too small - I have two non-players from that game already. Going to be a lot of donuts going around, which leads to people getting disinterested very quickly.
Yeah it kinda sucks. I appreciate them getting the comp up and running but yeah... I'm guessing maybe they don't have the capability to make it rolling.
In fairness the worst part is the AFLW changing from squads named Thursday night to teams the day prior. I would have though extending to 645pm or 700pm would have been possible but if their system is needing an hour before at least it is even for everyone. Now the lockout is in effect my advice is no too worry too much if your bench isn't playing it is more important to bring in the midpriced bolters in weeks 2 to 5 than anything else.
