My understanding is yes and a lot of teams have historically gone 3 deep. Only 2 ruck only players can be included in the 12 keepers but we aren’t stopping a team that then drafts rucks to bolster its stocks. The midseason draft rules mention 3 rucks including dpp but I think that was only intended for year 1 while we all tried to settle squads down. We should clarify and re-write ruck regulations as needed but we want to avoid teams with 5 rucks as it is not at all like a real footy team and does directly lead to unreasonable scarcity for other teams. Ruck and defender shortages should be less of an issue in 22/23 with 4 more clubs adding 100 plus players to the FA pool.
