Welcome to the 2022 GWFFPL mid season draft

This year we made the decision to grow team lists from 21 to 23 so that coaches can look towards building a sustainable "covid-friendly" list that hopefully negates the need for topups moving forward (or at least significantly reduces them). This means that even if you did not cut a player you will still need to make 2 live picks in the draft.

The draft will commence at 8.45pm Melbourne time on Monday February 7, and we hope it will be a fast, free flowing draft without the need for nudges and reminders!!

The below order is based on delistings as they occur and the number of live picks you will take into the draft. It is also based on ladder position at the end of round 4 as round 5 has obviously not yet concluded.

    @Chloe @TheTassieHawk @CamCamMan88 @Pearcey47 @hoschke118 @Peter W @dmandrews

    Round 1
    1. Las Vegas - Tara Bohanna (GCS)
    2. Lagos - Ellie Hampson (GCS)
    3. Kyoto - Lauren Butler (Collingwood)
    4. Korea - Mia King (North Melbourne)
    5. Canberra - Leah Cutting (St Kilda)
    6. Vancouver - Sarah Rowe (Collingwood)
    7. Stuttgart - Sarah Verrier (Fremantle)
    8. Lima - Montanna McKinnon (Adelaide)

    Round 2
    9. Lima - Zimmy Farquharson (Brisbane)
    10. Stuttgart - Ash Woodland (Adelaide)
    11. Vancouver - Teah Charlton (Adel)
    12. Canberra - Claudia Whitfort (GCS)
    13. Korea - Tessa Lavey (Richmond)
    14. Kyoto - Mimi Hill (Carlton)
    15. Lagos - Dana East (Fremantle)
    16. Las Vegas - Emily Pease (GWS)

Round 3 (Activated by 1st delist)
    17. Las Vegas - Rachelle Martin (Adelaide)
    Lagos - Pass
    18. Kyoto - Katherine Smith (GWS)
    19. Korea - Lauren Brazzale (Carlton)
    20. Canberra - Jesse Wardlaw (Brisbane)
    21. Vancouver - Ang Stannett (Fremantle)
    22. Stuttgart - Brooke Brown (Nth Melbourne)
    23. Lima - Daisy Walker (Carlton)

Round 4 (Activated by 2nd delist)
    Lima - Pass
    Stuttgart - Pass
    24. Vancouver - Sarah D'Arcy (Richmond)
    Canberra - Pass
    Korea - Pass
    25. Kyoto - Darcy Moloney (Geelong)
    Lagos - Pass
    Las Vegas - Pass

Round 5 (Activated by 3rd delist)
    Las Vegas - Pass
    Lagos - Pass
    Kyoto - Pass
    Korea - Pass
    Canberra - Pass
    Vancouver - Pass
    Stuttgart - Pass
    Lima - Pass

Please note that the following players were late additions to the GWFFPL player pool and are available in the midseason draft despite being missing from the DB and Free Agent lists
    • Lucy Burke (STK) as a DEF
    • Maeve Chaplin (MEL) as a DEF-MID
    • Alexia Hamilton (NM) as a FWD-RUC (shown in the DB but as a FWD only)
    • Meg MacDonald (RIC) as a MID
    • Olivia Meagher (COL) as a MID
    • Jemima Woods (WB) as a FWD ==> named for WB vs Freo on Tuesday night
    • Akayla Peterson (Melb topup) as a FWD-MID
    • Ruby Sargent-Wilson (GWS topup) as a DEF
noting these the up to date Free Agent list with correct player positions sorted by club can be reviewed at
    http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagues.php?leagueId=22&teamId=-2

A Free Agent list sorted by average can be reported using the TS stats page however there is a slight glitch and positions should be checked to the Free Agents list per the link in the paragraph above to avoid possible confusion.

(ALL positions - as at Round 4) -
    http://tooserious.net/forum/stats.p...gueTeamId=FA&tsLeagueId=22&sort=ave&desc=desc

I have also created a spreadsheet, linked below, with scores from the round 10 match brought forward to last Tuesday as well as the Round 5 matches played during the current round, some mistakes are likely to please double check where required

First mistake detected is that I excluded the Round 5 topups- Rowe, Sheridan, Ellenger and Farquarson, who all remain eligible for selection

    Cheers TTH

I could potentially miss the start of the draft tonight so I will put in my pick now.

Pick 1 - Legends select Tara Bohanna (GCS).

Welcome to the draft everyone! Live picks start at 8.45 with the Lagos Royals @Peter W up first. Picks will need to be made within a 7 minute time frame to keep the draft moving, or you will be skipped and the next coach is up to choose a player. However if you do miss your pick, don't panic, it can be taken whenever the coach is back online. This will enable those here to get their preferred picks in a timely manner and still give every coach the ability to fill their squads.

Make sure you check the table above to make sure you know how many live picks you have tonight, remembering we are increasing all squads to 23 players.

    Good luck and have fun!
