ORFFW 2024 Ladder and Results

Ok, bear with me!!! Looks like it's going to be a manual year so I'm hoping the spready that I've done can be visible to everyone.

Round 1 results are up and there are some standout winners in round 1 - notably the Jets and the Galahs who both achieved 900+ scores.

Congrats to all the round 1 winners and if you're on the losing side like me, it's back to the drawing board and crossing fingers for some players to return and some to find some form.

Round 2 is done and dusted with the ladder already seeing a couple of strong teams breakaway while there's 4 at the bottom looking to break the duck!

Round 7 finally tallied and we had some absolute nailbiters this round!!

Well the preliminary rounds are now finished and the final four have now been finalised.

Firstly, what were the results from an exciting final round? Well for starters a draw between the Trailblazers and the Dragons and a 2 point thriller that saw the Mystix hold on to top spot. Other results saw Wood Nymphs by 47, Jets by 78, Valks by 192 and Wallabies by 291.

This means we have 8 teams that go into mothballs for 2024 with some planning to be done for 2025!!

And a huge congrats to this years finalists - Manildra Mystix @Esther, Junee Jets @Chloe, Wongan Hills Wallabies @Schmitty and the Pomona Wood Nymphs @anthak.

In the tradition of trying to get matchups that didn't occur during the year or having teams play each other within a matter of weeks the finals will look like this:

Pomona were far more convincing than sneaking into the finals, finishing two wins and points for ahead of the fifth placed Lake St Clair.

@anthak congratulations on Pomona’s Round 8 win to further enhance their standing as the nemesis of Lake St Clair after winning the 2023 Grand Final between the two clubs.

Well done Manildra, Junee, Wongan Hills & Pomona on finishing in the top 4 and making the ORFFW finals. The top 4 teams are evenly matched with the quartet of teams having a points for difference of less than 50 points per game during the 8 Round Home and Away season, setting up a thrilling finals series.
