I think that if we have a chance to play each other once, then we should. If it means playing through the byes, so be it.

ok, so the idea of playing through byes is gathering steam. it may just happen. 5 people suggesting otherwise is a bit of a worry though. Would anyone that said they would not want to, want to change their mind?

I think we should play through the byes as it allows us to play everyone once. Possibly have a smaller team for the bye rounds as has been previously suggested.
So there are chels, nick, chris and Terry that have stated they would rather not play through byes. Well TiB said he would play anytime but would be trading during byes. I'm thinking we could possibly trade during that time as well as play. No reason why not. So there is prob only chels, nick and chris that were against it... Would any of the 3 of you be open to changing your minds? there are also 5 or 6 coaches that we haven't heard from yet. Despite some suggestions of the contrary, I reckon it's best to have the complete FIXture worked out before round 1.
FWIW I think that it is fairest to play each other once and to make up for the missing players in bye week play with 10 man teams as mentioned previously. No reason as to why trading can't happen simultaneously.

It shouldn't be an issue to play and trade, but not having seen the team upload/update section for myself I don't know how manoeuvrable it is. Unless you were going to make the guidelines quite complicated re the guys actually playing that week the trading would have to be done Monday to Thursday (Assuming no Monday night games)? Suggest we let Walesy or Hornsy "without the e" advise on the practicality of trading and playing over the same period, I am happy with whatever is decided, as long as it's practicable and our commish signs off on it.. With trading, we are not just talking interclub here, we are also talking free agent, if so is done that on a waiver system?

Note my position was rather not as opposed to totally against. even without the threat of a nuclear winter I will accept playing through the byes; but with the proviso of a reduced team size as I have gone long term with bulk unplayed prospects. Another reason would be a desire not to deprive Snoz the prospect of humiliating my team again.
