Maybe a little late to get a few more people involved though. Thanks (to all too), and yeah it maybe took about an hour longer than I thought. Wanted to make sure I covered all everything! We have 12 people for SBS and 8 for Velogames, it's a modest amount but good enough to be competitive. Last year, the forums were simpler so people saw it and we had a lot of interest, which then boosted our numbers to around 20-30., we also had all that hoo-har at the end of last year, that doesn't help with general interest in the sport. I've now settled on my starting squad. Quite happy with and I may only make a minor change, I think there's only 12 decent sprinters that should pick up points so hopefully got the right 9. Last decision to make will be Team. I'm going to go for a POD here but undecided on one of two teams.
Well thanks again for all the info p_l. I'm locked and ready to go so I guess I'll see soon enough how my selections look. Good luck everyone!
Hi guys I know I am ridiculously late but I have just sent a request to join the league! Sorry. Team: Frrome, Sagan, Cavendish, Van Garderen, Goss, Voeckler, Martin, Gerrens, Kittel.Orica-GreenEDGEStage 18.
No worries Popeye, I don't thikn there's a limit on when people can join, just that it takes a day to process I think.
Thanks mate. I made the team 3 days ago with a mate and thought I'd check out the TS program late last night. I changed my team last night at about 10 pm, but when I logged in today they didn't stick... Which is a bugger, cos I wanted to get rid of Froome for Greipel and change Orica to Omega-Pharma.Oh well. I rate my Tour knowledge as ok so hopefully my trades will help!
Yeah, you have to make sure you press submit, changes aren't automatic. Close to the start and still umming and erring over my Velogames team. Certainly hard to pick because the race can go in so many different ways!

Yeah but as I said on twatter, that's a silly view because its the organisers fault because that bus is no larger this season than it was last year and it's already been to numerous ASO events (last years TDF, Vuelta, Dauphine, Paris-Nice). Certainly added more unneeded drama to the stage. On a fantasy note, be spewing if you had today as your bonus stage, but I see most of us picked stage 6 anyway, haha. So much for POD.

Yep, exactly
Looking for Tejay Van Garderen tonight... Gun puncher. Should be top 3 I reckon. (I believe tonight is a stage for the puncheurs yeah?)
Not happy I missed this, as mentioned it is more difficult with the new layout to see some of these events. However I am doing the velogame with the unwashed mob at fanfooty uk so will post some scores (as per someone earlier only 3 pts thus far). I wasn't aware the initial time trial was dispensed with & am again wearing the famous historic 7 ELEVEN outfit. Pissed off that everyone got the same time after slogging my guts out for 192 odd kms. Chels you may be hard to spot from the back of the peleton but what are you wearing & can we get on it - if the race becomes out of reach? Of course I'm on it from the start, just enjoying the scenery really but don't like to impact on the serious athletes whilst they have a podium in sight <p style='text-align: center;]
What are the trades people are making? I am yet to use one but will probably do so tomorrow as we head to the mainland. I see people are quite keen on Kristoff at least...
port_leschenault wrote: Hey Heavy, there's no worries, you can still join our velogames league if you have a slot free too Thanks Port, will just watch from the rear this year. Good riding to you all though & enjoy the tour. Cadel looking ok at the moment, hope he is still around the mark in the last week, makes the watching a tad more interesting.

Heavy my man, I am buried in the middle of the bunch wearing the yellow classic ONCE jersey. Closer inspection of my guernsey will reveal a blind man wearing glasses moving along with the aid of walking stick - very appropriate for me and my 'team.' If you come up for a chat could you bring a smoke and a cold one with you please? I think out team car has an abundant supply of each - I just hope the commissars do not spot the extra car in the convoy. allez, allez (and then a glass or two of vino at the end of the day)
