The thing with making a point is everyone thinks you are pointing at them... chels, as you ask, to answer as plainly as I can my issue with your Gardiner offer is this; 1. You picked him with pick # 66, ergo your bid is pick 66 plus a pick in the late 50s, ie your non player offer has greater value than your player. 2. Gardiner is a dour valuable defender type and unlikely to go elite in SC For a pick between 2 & 8? Who is kidding who on value, I eat stats for breakfast.

I disagree with your reasoning Len, but fair enough; thank you for being so frank. I'll take my SAS programming and analysis skills onwards and let you contemplate breakfast. Me, I like rolled oats and decent yoghurt followed by toast with marmite and marmalade, all accompanied by strong, milky tea.

I almost never read edited comments. I subscribe to most threads and read most comments by email, which is the first submitted version of said comments. it is a shame you felt the need to edit your comment Chels. FWIW, there was nothing wrong with it in my opinion.

Marmite and marmalade - could that be the secret behind the 1500+ score?

I would like to put David MacKay up for auction. This dashing HB flanker for the crows is averaging 86 with 5 scores above 80 including a 133 in the last 7 weeks. He is averaging 21 disposals and starting to find a lot more of the ball. For clarity he has a midfield designation in Supercoach. At only 25 years old he is entering his prime and likely will only get better over the next couple of seasons. He could be a 5 year lock for your midfield with lots of upside. I'd like to bid my 1st round MSD pick, pick 14, for Mr Mackay if that's OK.

The Misfits have elected to place their #1 2015 PSD pick up for auction. The pick number is clearly unknown, if the clock stopped now it would be #4, we estimate it is likely to be between 1 & 8. For those that may have forgotten, picks 1 to 10 this year landed:Jack Martin,Josh Kelly,Jesse Hogan,Jack Billings,Luke McDonald,Mitchell Grigg,Thomas Boyd,James Aish,Matthew Scharenberg &Kade Kolodjashnij. We needsomebodywho has a few years in the system and is playing regularly as a key back or forward, we are not interested in anyone's B graders. [span style='text-decoration: line-through;]If this auction fails to return the required value by the 12th it will be pulled and available for private trade, or for auction at the end of the year. <div>

Having considered the offer fully for the last few days The Misfits accept this is the minimum required to remove the reserve, auction will stay live until around 7pm tomorrow night, if there are no further bids we accept the terms offered above, but will pass on Wood and fruit tingles :)

Zach Tuohy and Michael Evans and our 2014 MSD round 2 pick and our 2015 PSD round 3 pick. In exchange for your 2015 PSD round 1 pick and a 2014 MSD pick of any round of your choice. If you don't want any of the 4 parts coming from us, leave it out of the final deal. Tuohy is an improving Irishman with an excellent kick. He scored 100 in his most recent game. Evans gets heaps of possessions every time he's on the field. His main problem this season has been the vests he's become accustomed to wearing. Neither would be good enough to swap for a 1st rounder in their own right, but together and along with the picks I'm offering, what do you think?

It's a close call, but because of the picks.. I feel Yeo &amp;gt; Tuohy in terms of promise, and Evans is probably a little too far back in the Melbourne team bus these days, if he was mine I'd delist him.. (I am also very well stocked for mids.) The 2 picks though are balancing and serve a need. Ultimately I am trading a pick to gain some kpp though and for that reason Fitzy's bid, which was a very well targeted effort, is still in front as far as my needs go.

Venus Bay have a player they would like to put up for auction. Nick Malecski Nick Malceski is 29 years of age, and here at Venus Bay we don't think we will be premiership contenders for at least another 3 years and Nick will be passed his peak scoring potential we assume by then. Although he is having his best year in 5+ years in 2014, averaging a touch under 100. So someone abit younger is what we are after, that has shown potential. If you are after immediate success, I think Malceski could add alot! :) Off the Auction market after no bids, feel free to message me if keen to offer something. :)

Jim, are you able to let me know if this bid has fulfilled the auction reserve? Just need to know so I can plan out my other list movements in the coming couple of days. Thanks mate.

I again find myself bidding against myself, but here it goes. I'm upping my offer for Mr Mackay to include both my first round pick in the MSD (pick 14) and my third round PSD pick next year. This offer will be on the table until 5pm today. Then it will be withdrawn and I'll pursue other opportunities.

Sorry, I have found it hard to get free time of late. I am pulling Mackay from Auction as I was really hoping to get a forward in return, maybe i should have been more clear upfront. I am happy to pursue private negotiations for him or my other players,
